    Pomiar wydajności zarządzania zielonymi łańcuchami dostaw

    Only what is measured can be managed properly. And the measurement process should serve a continuous improvement of companies and whole supply chains. Data from the performance measurement system should cause an increase of cooperation and help in taking right decisions about changes at the operational level, and on the other hand, are an important information when redefining strategies. This will allow for the development of the supply chain based on knowledge, in which the scope of cooperation is literally unlimited (including green aspects). There are two basic approaches to measuring the performance of supply chains: a comprehensive measurement that measures the results of the entire chain (which can be divided into individual tiers and levels) and partial measurement when we measure only certain aspects. Often, in practice, only measurement of separately operating companies is practiced by companies, not throughout chains. And the problem is even more evident when it comes to measuring performance of green activities in integrated supply chains. The paper presents the possibilities of evaluation of GSCM performance. Pozwala to na rozwój łańcuchów dostaw opartych na wiedzy, gdzie zakres współpracy jest dosłownie nieograniczony (dotyczy to również aspektów ekologicznych). Istnieją dwa podstawowe podejścia do pomiaru wydajności łańcucha dostaw: kompleksowy pomiar, który patrzy na wyniki całego łańcucha (który można rozdzielić na poszczególne szczeble i poziomy), oraz pomiar częściowy, gdy mierzymy tylko niektóre aspekty. Często praktykowany jest tylko pomiar oddzielnie działających firm, a nie całego łańcucha. Problem jest jeszcze bardziej widoczny, jeśli chodzi o pomiar wydajności działań ekologicznych w zintegrowanych łańcuchach dostaw. W artykule opisano możliwości oceny wyników GSCM.     The benefits of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in the supply chain are fairly compelling. It has the potential to revolutionise the efficiency, accuracy and security of the supply chain with significant impact on overall profitability. A number of companies are actively involved in testing and adopting this technology. It is estimated that the market for RFID products and services will increase significantly in the next few years. Despite this trend, there are major impediments to RFID adoption in supply chain. While RFID systems have been around for several decades, the technology for supply chain management is still emerging. We describe many of the challenges, setbacks and barriers facing RFID implementations in supply chains, discuss the critical issues for management and offer some suggestions.     SUPPLY NETWORK CONFIGURATION USING THE VALUE ENGINEERING BASED METHOD

    Supply network configuration considers the whole business logistics to maximize the economic performance of an enterprise. It is a complex strategic decision problem that concerns the long-term organization of suppliers, production factories, distribution centers, and manufacturing resources, thus an efficient decision support is necessary. This paper proposes a decision support method for the supply network optimization. In this method, the business process of a supply chain is described by the Supply Chain Operations References (SCOR) models firstly. Then the value of business processes in the supply chain is evaluated using the Value Engineering (VE) methodology, wherein the processes are defined by function analysis with quantitative comparison to select key functions. And the concept of quality and robustness of Taguchi method is applied to evaluate the performance of different alternatives which are generated by key functions. A case application of global enterprise is elaborated. The results show that the proposed model can effectively optimize the supply network configuration

    A configurable process model is an integrated representation of multiple variants of a business process. It is designed to be individualized to meet a particular set of requirements. As such, configurable process models promote systematic reuse of proven or common practices. Existing notations for configurable process modeling focus on capturing tasks and control-flow dependencies, neglecting equally important aspects of business processes such as data flow, material flow and resource management. This paper fills this gap by proposing an integrated meta-model for configurable processes with advanced features for capturing resources involved in the performance of tasks (through task-role associations) as well as flow of data and physical artifacts (through task-object associations). Although embodied as an extension of a popular process modeling notation, namely EPC, the meta-model is defined in an abstract and formal manner to make it applicable to other notations

    Defining PPIs for Process Variants based on Change Patterns

    Business Process (BP) families are made up of BP variants that share commonalities but also show differences to accommodate the speci c necessities of different application contexts (i.e., country regu- lations, industrial domain, etc.). Even though there are modelling tech- niques to represent these families (e.g., C-EPC, Provop), there is no work aimed at the performance measurement of the different BP variants that conform the family. Process Performance Indicators (PPI) are commonly used to study and analyse the performance of business processes. How- ever, the application of such indicators in BP families increases the mod- elling and management complexity of the whole family. To deal with this complexity, this work introduces a modelling solution for managing PPI variability based on the concepts of change patterns for process fami- lies (CP4PF).     A supply chain collaboration solution using XQuery

    Enterprises in a collaborative supply chain share information for quick and intelligent decision making. Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR), a business model developed by an organization called Voluntary Inter-industry Commerce Standards, defines a set of business processes to collaborate on planning, forecasting and replenishment activities to arrive at a common order. This involves sharing sales forecast, order forecast and promotion information among business partners. The Internet has paved the way for using Web Services to share this information as XML data in real time and to make it available across enterprises. Enterprises need to access this information and integrate it with the information available in their databases, Excel sheets and XML applications. This thesis discusses the development of an information architecture using XQuery (a declarative query language by W3C) for aggregating data from disparate data, and evaluates XQuery as a tool to enable information integration for supply chain collaboration. For this purpose, several CPFR scenarios are identified where two retailers share their sales forecast, order forecast and promotion forecast information with the manufacturer. A prototype application is developed which can fetch data from disparate data sources such as Web Service, XML databases and CSV files, aggregate it, and use it to identify exceptions in forecasts and calculate the key performance indicators (KPI). These KPIs are then presented as an executive dashboard using Visual FoxPro. This Dashboard presents information graphically and enables executives to track the performance of the supply chain, and hence enables them to make quick and intelligent decisions

Moreover many authors have linked risk to performance contribution. Nevertheless these ideas remain still theoretical and in literature applications are missing. The aim of this study is to develop a logical framework in which risk, performance and actors are connected each other. The goal is using the framework as a tool to recognize unbalanced supply chains and the best way to improve them. The benefit should be a better integration among supply chain actors.
