Un siglo sin nombre: de la mitad del siglo XIII a la mitad del siglo XIV

[Resumen] Trae al conocimiento histórico un siglo hasta ahora poco estudiado, olvidado, o a lo más considerado período de transición privado de originalidad, vagamente interesante solo por perfiles jurídicos de modesto nivel. Me refiero a los decenios transcurridos entre la Magna Glossa de Accursio (post 1230) y la Lectura super Codicede Cino de Pistoia (del 1312), comúnmente designados como el período de los postglosadores. Ahora, después de los magistrales resultados conseguidos por la más reciente historiografía (comenzada por Manlio Bellomo) habrá que reescribir los capítulos de los manuales de historia del derecho que tratan de los siglos XIII y XIV, y habrá que reconsiderar los acontecimientos de aquella época que, por tradición, se hace comenzar con Cino de Pistoia y se conoce como la época de los comentaristas.[Riassunto]: Porta al centro della conoscenza storico-giuridica un secolo finora poco studiato, dimenticato o al più considerato come periodo di transizione, privo di originalità, vagamente interessante perché ritenuto di profili giuridici di modesto livello. Orangulas: effect of scheduled visual enrichment on behavioral and endocrine aspects of a captive orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus)

Captivity may have adverse effects on captive great apes, as they spend much more of their time engaged in foraging and other activities in the wild. Enrichment interventions have the potential to alleviate the adverse effects of captivity by introducing novel stimuli. In orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus), interactive digital enrichment has proven effective at engaging users out of their own free will, in exchange for nothing but the experience. This article reports the results of scheduled visual enrichment in the form of “orangulas”—one-hour long videos of footage consisting mainly of open spaces in different environments, with which the pongid participant could engage at free will. The efficacy of the orangulas were measured with both behavioural and endocrine measurements, concluding that scheduled visual enrichment has the potential to improve the welfare of captive orangutans by providing novel stimuli in the context of largely stable environments

open3noThis paper studies Parenting WhatsApp Groups (PWGs) as interactional loci parents can join to be involved in their children’s academic life, building on the quantitative and qualitative results of an online survey administered to a sample of 302 Italian parents recruited through convenience sampling. First, PWGs are positioned within the broader literature on offline/online parent involvement, parents’ peer interaction via social media, and technological peculiarities of WhatsApp. Second, quantitative results from a binary logistic regression are reported to explore possible predictors of PWG’s membership among our sample, as well as quantitative and qualitative findings investigating parents’ perceptions/opinions of and experience with PWGs. ABSTRACT Aka cino sagagang motive is one. On the motives applied to Rumah Gadang the motive of aka cino sagagang symbolize a determinate determination to achieves life,s goals this is line with the work to be made, namely the family is a place of basic education to foster personalities. The concept of creating this work departs from the farm of a motif that is stalized to adjust the field applied to the family interior. The theoretical basis used in the realization of this workis the theory used in the realization of this namely the theory of form, function, and aesthetics. The methods in the process of creating this work used the exsploration, design, and realization stages. The material us in the process of making this work is surian wood. The techniques used in making this work is the technique of carving and construction.The work created in three dimentions. This work has a practical and aesthetic function which is used as a disposable object in a family room which consists of a tv cabinet, bookcase, desk chair, display cabinet, and wall lamp.  ABSTRAK Motif aka cino sagagang merupakan salah satu motif yang diterapkan pada rumah Gadang. Universal charts for optical difference frequency generation in the terahertz domain

We present a universal and rigorous approach to study difference frequency generation in the terahertz domain, keeping the number of degrees of freedom to a minimum, through the definition of a suitable figure of merit. The proposed method relies on suitably normalized charts, that enable to predict the optical-to-terahertz conversion efficiency of any system based on wave propagation in quadratic nonlinear materials. The predictions of our approach are found to be in good agreement with the best experimental results reported to date, enabling also to estimate the d22 nonlinear coefficient of high quality GaSe.Comment: 3 pages in 2 columns format, 3 figures.
