Robot Consciousness: Physics and Metaphysics Here and Abroad
Interest has been renewed in the study of consciousness, both theoretical and applied, following developments in 20th and early 21st-century logic, metamathematics, computer science, and the brain sciences. In this evolving narrative, I explore several theoretical questions about the types of artificial intelligence and offer several conjectures about how they affect possible future developments in this exceptionally transformative field of research. I also address the practical significance of the advances in artificial intelligence in view of the cautions issued by prominent scientists, politicians, and ethicists about the possible dangers of such sufficiently advanced general intelligence, including by implication the search for extraterrestrial intelligence

Can Computers Create Art?
This essay discusses whether computers, using Artificial Intelligence (AI),
could create art. First, the history of technologies that automated aspects of
art is surveyed, including photography and animation. In each case, there were
initial fears and denial of the technology, followed by a blossoming of new
creative and professional opportunities for artists. The current hype and
reality of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for art making is then discussed,
together with predictions about how AI tools will be used. It is then
speculated about whether it could ever happen that AI systems could be credited
with authorship of artwork. It is theorized that art is something created by
social agents, and so computers cannot be credited with authorship of art in
our current understanding. A few ways that this could change are also

Designing Women: Essentializing Femininity in AI Linguistics
Since the eighties, feminists have considered technology a force capable of subverting sexism because of technology’s ability to produce unbiased logic. Most famously, Donna Haraway’s “A Cyborg Manifesto” posits that the cyborg has the inherent capability to transcend gender because of its removal from social construct and lack of loyalty to the natural world. But while humanoids and artificial intelligence have been imagined as inherently subversive to gender, current artificial intelligence perpetuates gender divides in labor and language as their programmers imbue them with traits considered “feminine.” A majority of 21st century AI and humanoids are programmed to fit female stereotypes as they fulfill emotional labor and perform pink-collar tasks, whether through roles as therapists, query-fillers, or companions. This paper examines four specific chat-based AI --ELIZA, XiaoIce, Sophia, and Erica-- and examines how their feminine linguistic patterns are used to maintain the illusion of emotional understanding in regards to the tasks that they perform. This paper mainly focuses on the creation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) using natural intelligence but the question to be considered whether the natural intelligence can be created using artificial intelligence or not. The Artificial intelligence is the outcome of functionality and capabilities of human brain called neural Network. In this paper, it is presumed that the artificial intelligence is a byproduct of natural intelligence and then we discuss some relationship between both of these, especially the working of natural intelligence. Revitalization of Social Studies Education to Build the Nation's Generation with Creative Pedagogy in the 21st Century
The purpose of this study is to examine Social Studies Education in preparing the nation's generation through 21st century creative pedagogy and to find out strategies to face the challenges of 21st century Social Studies Education. The research method used is the library research method by involving searching, assessing and analyzing literature relevant to the research. Data analysis techniques use a content analysis model with steps: design determination, search for basic data, and consequent knowledge search. The results found that social studies education with 21st century creative pedagogy requires 10 future skills of the nation's generation, namely: Complex Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Creativity, People Management, Coordinating with other, Emotional Intelligence, Judgment and Decision Making, Service Orentation, Negotiation, Cognitive Flexbility. The strategy to face the challenges of 21st century social studies education is to implement the four principles of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely holistic, consectual, student-centered and exploratory. Why this research is important, because as an increase in creativity and innovation that examines how social studies education can promote student creativity in responding to social and cultural issues. This research can measure the impact of Social Studies Education in shaping students' critical thinking, and analytical skills to become competent global citizens. Thus, social studies education must transform following the changing times towards technological advances as future intelligence that cannot be defeated by artificial intelligence
