Supply chain finance (SCF) has experienced the development stages of offline SCF, online traditional SCF, and Internet SCF, and has developed to the stage of smart supply chain finance (SSCF) driven by digital technology in China. We analyze the theoretical framework of SSCF model from three aspects: loose coupling alliance organizational structure, visual operation and management process and symbiotic multi-agent coordination mechanism. In the financing of private scientific and technological enterprises, SSCF will show smart effects such as intelligent decision-making, harmonious service, penetrating management and digital risk control. Further, the process of SSCF providing financing services for private scientific and technological enterprises is designed. Finally, in view of the problems and challenges faced by private scientific and technological enterprises in the application of SSCF, we put forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of expanding the dimension of smart transformation, building a perfect regulatory system and legal system, and strengthening the cultivation of compound talents in this paper

The Adoption of Blockchain Technologies in Data Sharing: A State of the Art Survey

In the big data era, it is a significant need for data sharing in various industries. However, there are many weaknesses in the traditional centralized way of data sharing. It is easy to attack the centralized data storage center. As the process of data asset transactions is not transparent, there is a lack of trust in the percipients of data sharing. Blockchain technology offers a possibility to solve these problems in data sharing, as the blockchain can provide a decentralized, programmable, tamperproof, and anonymous data sharing environment. In this paper, we compare the blockchain-based data sharing with the traditional ways of data sharing, and analyze the scenarios in major industry applications. We survey the state of the art of the adoption of blockchain technologies in data sharing, and provide a summary about their technical frameworks and schemes

A Review of Researches on Blockchain

Analyzing 242 articles related to the study of blockchain which were published in China and abroad from 2014 to 2016, and from the aspects of literature sources, research subjects, research methods and western countries, the basic frame of blockchain research classification is put forward. Summarize the current blockchain technology progress, research limitations and future development trends. The research shows that the domestic research on the blockchain is more decentralized, non-systematic, and has not reached a certain research depth. What’s more, it is lack of quantitative analysis. Digital currency, Internet finance, and the risk of blockchain technology research will be the focus of future research

The Digitalisation of African Agriculture Report 2018-2019

An inclusive, digitally-enabled agricultural transformation could help achieve meaningful livelihood improvements for Africa’s smallholder farmers and pastoralists. It could drive greater engagement in agriculture from women and youth and create employment opportunities along the value chain. At CTA we staked a claim on this power of digitalisation to more systematically transform agriculture early on. Digitalisation, focusing on not individual ICTs but the application of these technologies to entire value chains, is a theme that cuts across all of our work. In youth entrepreneurship, we are fostering a new breed of young ICT ‘agripreneurs’. In climate-smart agriculture multiple projects provide information that can help towards building resilience for smallholder farmers. And in women empowerment we are supporting digital platforms to drive greater inclusion for women entrepreneurs in agricultural value chains

Comparing world regional sustainable supply chain finance using big data analytics:A bibliometric analysis

    Get PDF
Purpose: Sustainable supply chain finance (SSCF) is a fascinated consideration for both academics and practitioners because the indicators are still underdeveloped in achieving SSCF. This study proposes a bibliometric data-driven analysis from the literature to illustrate a clear overall concept of SSCF that reveals hidden indicators for further improvement. Design/methodology/approach: A hybrid quantitative and qualitative approach combining data-driven analysis, fuzzy Delphi method (FDM), entropy weight method (EWM) and fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (FDEMATEL) is employed to address the uncertainty in the context. Findings: The results show that blockchain, cash flow shortage, reverse factoring, risk assessment and triple bottom line (TBL) play significant roles in SSCF. A comparison of the challenges and gaps among different geographic regions is provided in both advanced local perspective and a global state-of-the-art assessment. There are 35 countries/territories being categorized into five geographic regions. Of the five regions, two, Latin America and the Caribbean and Africa, show the needs for more improvement, exclusively in collaboration strategies and financial crisis. Exogenous impacts of wars, natural disasters and disease epidemics are implied as inevitable attributes for enhancing the sustainability. Originality/value: This study contributes to (1) boundary SSCF foundations by data driven, (2) identifying the critical SSCF indicators and providing the knowledge gaps and directions as references for further examination and (3) addressing the gaps and challenges in different geographic regions to provide advanced assessment from local viewpoint and to diagnose the comprehensive global state of the art of SSCF
