This empirical study evaluates the relative importance of articles in industrial organization published in major general or specialized scientific journals, either english or french, using the new 1991 J.E.L. classification system. Contributions are examined within two recent periods, 1991-93 and 1994-96, and regrouped according to the nature of the article: theoretical (L100-L390); industrial policy (L400-L590); industry studies (L600-L990). A specialization progress indicator (IPS) may show the evolution of the editorial policy in relation with the treatment of the subject, while a rate of multiple reference (TRM) reveals the specific characteristics of the journals with respect to the type of article being published

Considérer l’information non financière liée à la pandémie de Covid-19 pour anticiper la valeur financière de la firme : Cas de l’industrie télécom en Afrique

L’information non financière permet de mieux rendre compte des facteurs participant à la valeur réelle de l’entreprise car elle est souvent considérée comme complémentaire des états financiers. Cette information varie considérablement en très peu de temps à la hausse tout comme à la baisse dans des situations de crise. Nous proposons dans cette étude, d’anticiper la valeur financière de la firme en séparant la partie immatérielle relative au goodwill en deux. Une partie prenant en compte les avantages économiques futurs actualisés des actifs incorporels existant avant la pandémie de Covid-19, et autre partie tenant compte uniquement les avantages économiques futurs actualisés du surplus des actifs immatériels issus de l’effet de la crise sanitaire de Covid-19. Les deux parties n’ont pas la même solidité dans la composition du patrimoine de l’entreprise. Par conséquent, cette évaluation est une opportunité non négligeable qui permet d’améliorer les prises de décisions
