Self-Consistent Sources and Conservation Laws for a Super Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt Equation Hierarchy
Based on the matrix Lie superalgebras and supertrace identity, the integrable super
Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt hierarchy with self-consistent sources is established. Furthermore, we
establish the infinitely many conservation laws for the integrable super Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt
hierarchy. In the process of computation especially, Fermi variables also play an important role in
super integrable systems

A Integrable Generalized Super-NLS-mKdV Hierarchy, Its Self-Consistent Sources, and Conservation Laws
A generalized super-NLS-mKdV hierarchy is proposed related to Lie superalgebra B(0,1); the resulting supersoliton hierarchy is put into super bi-Hamiltonian form with the aid of supertrace identity. Then, the super-NLS-mKdV hierarchy with self-consistent sources is set up. Finally, the infinitely many conservation laws of integrable super-NLS-mKdV hierarchy are presented
Exact Solution of Quantum Field Theory on Noncommutative Phase Spaces
We present the exact solution of a scalar field theory defined with
noncommuting position and momentum variables. The model describes charged
particles in a uniform magnetic field and with an interaction defined by the
Groenewold-Moyal star-product. Explicit results are presented for all Green's
functions in arbitrary even spacetime dimensionality. Various scaling limits of
the field theory are analysed non-perturbatively and the renormalizability of
each limit examined. A supersymmetric extension of the field theory is also
constructed in which the supersymmetry transformations are parametrized by
differential operators in an infinite-dimensional noncommutative algebra.Comment: 70 pages AMSTe
Solitons, monopoles and duality: from sine-Gordon to Seiberg-Witten
An elementary introduction into the Seiberg-Witten theory is given. Many
efforts are made to get it as pedagogical as possible, within a reasonable
size. The selection of the relevant material is heavily oriented towards
graduate students. The basic ideas about solitons, monopoles, supersymmetry and
duality are reviewed from first principles, and they are illustrated on the
simplest examples. The exact Seiberg-Witten solution to the low-energy
effective action of the four-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric pure Yang-Mills
theory with the gauge group SU(2) is the main subject of the review. Other
gauge groups are also considered. Some related issues (like adding matter,
confinement, string dualities) are outlined.Comment: 72 pages, LaTeX, macros included, a few references adde
Soft branes in supersymmetry-breaking backgrounds
We revisit the analysis of effective field theories resulting from
non-supersymmetric perturbations to supersymmetric flux compactifications of
the type-IIB superstring with an eye towards those resulting from the
backreaction of a small number of anti-D3-branes. Independently of the
background, we show that the low-energy Lagrangian describing the fluctuations
of a stack of probe D3-branes exhibits soft supersymmetry breaking, despite
perturbations to marginal operators that were not fully considered in some
previous treatments. We take this as an indication that the breaking of
supersymmetry by anti-D3-branes or other sources may be spontaneous rather than
explicit. In support of this, we consider the action of an anti-D3-brane
probing an otherwise supersymmetric configuration and identify a candidate for
the corresponding goldstino.Comment: 36+5 pages. References added, minor typos correcte
