Scene-based imperceptible-visible watermarking for HDR video content
This paper presents the High Dynamic Range - Imperceptible Visible Watermarking for HDR video content (HDR-IVW-V) based on scene detection for robust copyright protection of HDR videos using a visually imperceptible watermarking methodology. HDR-IVW-V employs scene detection to reduce both computational complexity and undesired visual attention to watermarked regions. Visual imperceptibility is achieved by finding the region of a frame with the highest hiding capacities on which the Human Visual System (HVS) cannot recognize the embedded watermark. The embedded watermark remains visually imperceptible as long as the normal color calibration parameters are held. HDR-IVW-V is evaluated on PQ-encoded HDR video content successfully attaining visual imperceptibility, robustness to tone mapping operations and image quality preservation
Fast watermarking of MPEG-1/2 streams using compressed-domain perceptual embedding and a generalized correlator detector
A novel technique is proposed for watermarking of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 compressed video streams. The proposed scheme is applied directly in the domain of MPEG-1 system streams and MPEG-2 program streams (multiplexed streams). Perceptual models are used during the embedding process in order to avoid degradation of the video quality. The watermark is detected without the use of the original video sequence. A modified correlation-based detector is introduced that applies nonlinear preprocessing before correlation. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed scheme is able to withstand several common attacks. The resulting watermarking system is very fast and therefore suitable for copyright protection of compressed video
Towards Optimal Copyright Protection Using Neural Networks Based Digital Image Watermarking
In the field of digital watermarking, digital image watermarking for copyright protection has attracted a lot of attention in the research community. Digital watermarking contains varies techniques for protecting the digital content. Among all those techniques,Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) provides higher image imperceptibility and robustness. Over the years, researchers have been designing watermarking techniques with robustness in mind, in order for the watermark to be resistant against any image processing techniques. Furthermore, the requirements of a good watermarking technique includes a tradeoff between robustness, image quality (imperceptibility) and capacity. In this paper, we have done an extensive literature review for the existing DWT techniques and those combined with other techniques such as Neural Networks. In addition to that, we have discuss the contribution of Neural Networks in copyright protection. Finally we reached our goal in which we identified the research gaps existed in the current watermarking schemes. So that, it will be easily to obtain an optimal techniques to make the watermark object robust to attacks while maintaining the imperceptibility to enhance the copyright protection
A survey of digital image watermarking techniques
Watermarking, which belong to the information hiding field, has seen a lot of research interest recently. There is a lot of work begin conducted in different branches in this field. Steganography is used for secret conmunication, whereas watermarking is used for content protection, copyright management, content authentication and tamper detection. In this paper we present a detailed survey of existing and newly proposed steganographic and watenmarking techniques. We classify the techniques based on different domains in which data is embedded. Here we limit the survey to images only

A review on medicinal properties of saffron toward major diseases
The stigma of Crocus sativus, known as saffron, is one of the most expensive spices in the world. The bioactive components in saffron, picrocrocin, crocin, and safranal, have demonstrated a wide range of uses and capabilities in the medical field. This review is focused on the potential therapeutic applications of saffron on diabetes mellitus (DM), antitumor, anticancer, anti-depressant, Alzheimer’s disease (AD), cardiovascular disease (CVD), erectile dysfunction and antibacterial effects
Digital Watermarking using Multiscale Ridgelet Transform
The multi-resolution watermarking method for digital images proposed in this work. The multiscale ridgelet coefficients of low and high frequency bands of the watermark is embedded to the most significant coefficients at low and high frequency bands of the multiscale ridgelet of an host image, respectively. A multi-resolution nature of multiscale ridgelet transform is exploiting in the process of edge detection. Experimental results of the proposed watermarking method are compared with the previously available watermarking algorithm wavelet transform. Moreover, the proposed watermarking method also tested on images attached by Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and wavelet based lossy image compression techniques
Intensifying the Security of Multiomodal Biometric Authentication System using Watermarking
In Multimodal biometrics system two or more biometric attributes are combined which makes it far more secure than unimodal system as it nullifies all the vulnerabilities of it. But with the prompt ontogenesis of information technology, even the biometric data is not secure. There is one such technique that is implemented to secure the biometric data from inadvertent or deliberate attacks is known as Digital watermarking. This paper postulate an approach that is devise in both the directions of enlarging the security through watermarking technique and improving the efficiency of biometric identification system by going multimodal. Three biometric traits are consider in this paper two of them are physical traits i.e. ; face, fingerprint and one is behavioral trait (signature). The biometric traits are initially metamorphose using Discrete Wavelet and Discrete Cosine Transformation and then watermarked using Singular Value Decomposition. Scheme depiction and presented results rationalize the effectiveness of the scheme
