INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION OF UNIVERSITY'S ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
The system of academic activities in higher education institutions is a program created to enable students and academic activities to communicate with each other. The mainpurpose of the existence of this system is to provide guidance and mentoring to students in their academic direction. Web-based system has been used as a medium for students to obtain information specifically related to academic course of study and learning. The use of the web-based system is to facilitate the process of selecting courses for planning of studies. The aims of this research are to design and implement quality management system based on International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in higher education or university with android and to know the respondents’ reaction regarding the new design quality management system based on ISO in higher education or university with android. The tools that used in this research are hardware and sofware. In this research use quality management system based on ISO 9001 (quality control) and the process of managing the data in the application of Android telephone celuler will use to implement the system to achieve the result of the research. The sample is 15 students of Information System Department students in Diponegoro University. The method analysis use in this research is descriptive analysis. The result of this study is the develop of information systems used in the higher education or university to know the quality management system based on ISO using Android. The information system to know the quality management system based on ISO using Android telephon celluler is very useful and easy to aplicated. New findings/significance that the design of this information system can help to aplicatedquality management system based on ISO using Android.

Optimizarea procedurilor pentru certificarea sistemului de management de mediu al unui agent economic
At present, it is known that an effective control of pollution at organization level can’t be realized just on technological solutions, but it must be made according to an Environmental Management System incorporated to General Management. Latest developments aiming an integrated management systems tool focusing maturity assessment
Publicado em "Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE IEEM"Integrated management systems (IMS)
widespread among companies due to the release, by
international entities, of management sub-systems
implementation standards. The integration level
achieved by the IMS varies from company to
company. Rating the integration level is crucial
information. Maturity models have been implemented
in several business, product development and in
management sub-systems context in order to guide the
company to an ultimate excellence level. An IMS
maturity model development is, currently, aimed by
researchers and a real need in companies. It is
intended in this paper to report the efforts that are
being made and the methodologies that are being
followed to develop such a model. Additionally, it is
also intended to present a preliminary model version
Investigating the benefits and challenges of the implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in the aerospace industry
Aerospace companies implement certain quality management and environmental standards, e.g. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements specific to the aerospace industry. The big question is whether the implementation of the ISO standards has provided its hope for returns. The aim of this research is therefore to analyze the benefits and challenges of the implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in the aerospace industry. This study aims to investigate two underlying subjects – quality management and environmental management, and explore how they influence firm performance and how they are implemented in the aerospace industry.Nine participants from different aerospace companies were interviewed. The results suggest that these companies were put under pressure internally and externally by the customers for pursuing the certification. Major factors that affect the implementation include size of company, employee participation, and company commitment. It also discovered that ISO 14001 seems to mainly impact the managers and employees related to environmental work. This study found that the larger the company size, the more sensitive it becomes toward customer pressure on commitment to sustainability
MSP model integration and optimisation : A flourishing opportunity for an economic expansion on the French IT managed services market?
According Gartner Information Technology Glossary« Managed service provider (MSP) delivers services, such as network, application, infrastructure and security, via ongoing and regular support and active administration on customers’ premises, in their MSP’s data center (hosting), or in a third-party data center. » This innovative providing model is approximately 30 years and is still considered as a new model. In France, MSP market is existing and is working well. Anyway, its growth evolves slower than other countries. In this innovative model, agility in business process is important. When it comes to tools and other solutions and processed used to manage the activity, constant optimisation and integration are possible. This paper provides an eight-step processes on which optimisation and integration process can be based on. Besides, this paper provides insight from three French IT MSPs, one MSP reseller to MSP and one supplier/editor representative. Through interviews, observations and practical case, recommendations are made to support understanding of this model. This research follow a qualitative methodology combined to a positivist approach
IAEA Safety Standards on Management Systems and Safety Culture
The IAEA has developed a new set of Safety Standards for applying an integrated Management System for facilities and activities. The objective of the new Safety Standards is to define requirements and provide guidance for establishing, implementing, assessing and continually improving a Management System that integrates safety, health, environmental, security, quality and economic related elements to ensure that safety is properly taken into account in all the activities of an organization. With an integrated approach to management systems it is also necessary to include the aspect of culture, where the organizational culture and safety culture is seen as crucial elements of the successful implementation of this management system and the attainment of all the goals and particularly the safety goals of the organization. The IAEA has developed a set of services aimed at assisting it’s Member States in establishing, implementing, assessing and continually improving an integrated management system
