Phone Laser Scanner becomes the versatile sensor module that is premised on Lamp Identification and Spanning methodology and is used in a spectrum of uses. There are several prior editorials in the literary works that concentrate on the implementations or attributes of these processes; even so, evaluations of all those inventive computational techniques reported in the literature have not even been performed in the required thickness. At ToAT that finish, we examine and summarize the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence based machine learning data processing approaches such as extracting features, fragmentation, machine vision, and categorization. In this survey, we have reviewed total 48 papers based on an enhanced AI based machine learning model for accurate classification and segmentation methods. Here, we have reviewed the sections on segmentation and classification of images based on machine learning models

Video browsing interfaces and applications: a review

    Get PDF
We present a comprehensive review of the state of the art in video browsing and retrieval systems, with special emphasis on interfaces and applications. There has been a significant increase in activity (e.g., storage, retrieval, and sharing) employing video data in the past decade, both for personal and professional use. The ever-growing amount of video content available for human consumption and the inherent characteristics of video data—which, if presented in its raw format, is rather unwieldy and costly—have become driving forces for the development of more effective solutions to present video contents and allow rich user interaction. As a result, there are many contemporary research efforts toward developing better video browsing solutions, which we summarize. We review more than 40 different video browsing and retrieval interfaces and classify them into three groups: applications that use video-player-like interaction, video retrieval applications, and browsing solutions based on video surrogates. For each category, we present a summary of existing work, highlight the technical aspects of each solution, and compare them against each other

Multimodal sentiment analysis (MSA) is one of the core research topics of natural language processing (NLP). MSA has become a challenge for scholars and is equally complicated for an appliance to comprehend. One study that supports MS difficulties is the MSA, which is learning opinions, emotions, and attitudes in an audio-visual format. In order words, using such diverse modalities to obtain opinions and identify emotions is necessary. Such utilization can be achieved via modality data fusion, such as feature fusion. In handling the data fusion of such diverse modalities while obtaining high performance, a typical machine learning algorithm is Deep Learning (DL), particularly the Convolutional Neutral Network (CNN), which has the capacity to handle tasks of great intricacy and difficulty. In this paper, we present a CNN architecture with an integrated layer via fuzzy methodologies for MSA, a task yet to be explored in improving the accuracy performance of CNN for diverse inputs. Experiments conducted on a benchmark multimodal dataset, MOSI, obtaining 37.5% and 81% on seven (7) class and binary classification respectively, reveals an improved accuracy performance compared with the typical CNN, which acquired 28.9% and 78%, respectively

The inability of students to absorb the knowledge conveyed by the teacher is’nt caused by the inability of understanding and by the teacher which isn’t able to teach too, but because of the mismatch of learning styles between students and teachers, so that students feel uncomfortable in learning to a particular teacher. It also happens in senior high school (SHS/SMAN) 1 Anggana, so it is necessary to do this research, to analyze cluster (group) of student learning style by applying data mining method that is k-Means and Fuzzy C-Means. The purpose was to know the effectiveness of this learning style cluster on the development of absorptive power and improving student achievement. The method used to cluster the learning style with data mining process starts from the data cleaning stage, data selection, data transformation, data mining, pattern evolution, and knowledge development

    Get PDF
In this paper, we first describe the basics of the field of cancer diagnosis, which includes steps of cancer diagnosis followed by the typical classification methods used by doctors, providing a historical idea of cancer classification techniques to the readers. These methods include Asymmetry, Border, Color and Diameter (ABCD) method, seven-point detection method, Menzies method, and pattern analysis. They are used regularly by doctors for cancer diagnosis, although they are not considered very efficient for obtaining better performance. Moreover, considering all types of audience, the basic evaluation criteria are also discussed. The criteria include the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve), Area under the ROC curve (AUC), F1 score, accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, precision, dice-coefficient, average accuracy, and Jaccard index. Previously used methods are considered inefficient, asking for better and smarter methods for cancer diagnosis. Artificial intelligence and cancer diagnosis are gaining attention as a way to define better diagnostic tools. In particular, deep neural networks can be successfully used for intelligent image analysis. The basic framework of how this machine learning works on medical imaging is provided in this study, i.e., pre-processing, image segmentation and post-processing. The second part of this manuscript describes the different deep learning techniques, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs), generative adversarial models (GANs), deep autoencoders (DANs), restricted Boltzmann’s machine (RBM), stacked autoencoders (SAE), convolutional autoencoders (CAE), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), long short-term memory (LTSM), multi-scale convolutional neural network (M-CNN), multi-instance learning convolutional neural network (MIL-CNN). For each technique, we provide Python codes, to allow interested readers to experiment with the cited algorithms on their own diagnostic problems. The third part of this manuscript compiles the successfully applied deep learning models for different types of cancers. Considering the length of the manuscript, we restrict ourselves to the discussion of breast cancer, lung cancer, brain cancer, and skin cancer. The purpose of this bibliographic review is to provide researchers opting to work in implementing deep learning and artificial neural networks for cancer diagnosis a knowledge from scratch of the state-of-the-art achievements

CAPTCHA Types and Breaking Techniques: Design Issues, Challenges, and Future Research Directions

The proliferation of the Internet and mobile devices has resulted in malicious bots access to genuine resources and data. Bots may instigate phishing, unauthorized access, denial-of-service, and spoofing attacks to mention a few. Authentication and testing mechanisms to verify the end-users and prohibit malicious programs from infiltrating the services and data are strong defense systems against malicious bots. Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) is an authentication process to confirm that the user is a human hence, access is granted. This paper provides an in-depth survey on CAPTCHAs and focuses on two main things: (1) a detailed discussion on various CAPTCHA types along with their advantages, disadvantages, and design recommendations, and (2) an in-depth analysis of different CAPTCHA breaking techniques. The survey is based on over two hundred studies on the subject matter conducted since 2003 to date. The analysis reinforces the need to design more attack-resistant CAPTCHAs while keeping their usability intact. The paper also highlights the design challenges and open issues related to CAPTCHAs. Furthermore, it also provides useful recommendations for breaking CAPTCHAs
