The national use of AI in the government sector is necessary to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in supporting bureaucratic reform and policy decision making in order to implement good governance. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods by reviewing previous research, and reviewing policies related to the use of AI in government and bureaucratic reform. The results show that in terms of governance, AI systems do not yet have specific laws governing and ensuring the security and protection of citizen data and the use of algorithms against the misuse of electronic transactions. In terms of governance, AI development is needed as an effort to maintain public trust and government legitimacy. In terms of infrastructure Indonesia is still constrained by the creation of data that is very difficult and does not allow for reuse. In terms of skills and education, the digital skills of workers in Indonesia are still middle level. In terms of government and public services, Indonesia still has to continue to increase the availability of public services digitally. In order to improve the management of AI Indonesia builds artificial intelligence industry research and innovation collaboration (KORI-KA), a quadruple-helix approach between government, industry, academia and the community. At a strategic level, AI management is conducted with policy, accountability, and accountability approaches. At the operational level, cybersecurity against data includes infrastructure security and the use of anonymous data methods to keep data owners unidentified

학위논문(석사) -- 서울대학교대학원 : 공과대학 협동과정 기술경영·경제·정책전공, 2021.8. 황준석.Currently, various countries have a national Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a reference to implement the strategies and identify the direction of government policies. AI encompasses a wide range of technologies, one of which is the chatbot platform that can increase efficiency, save time and budget, and provide higher quality public services. Furthermore, in 2019, the Indonesian government released the features of the chatbot platform, which has 2 million users from a total population of 250 million people. Therefore, this study aims to examine the current problems in adopting a chatbot platform using technological, organizational, and environmental (TOE) framework approach. The results show recommendations on the aspects to be considered when adopting AI-based public services. Chapter 1. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as well as strategies for the role of the digital economy in the halal industry and Sharia economy development in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using literature study and SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that the ultimate strength of Indonesia's digital economy lies in the high growth in the number of Muslims and the growth in digital transactions. However, Indonesia's digital economy is still constrained by the lack of digital economy ability to respond to demand and the market as the main weakness. Meanwhile, the main opportunity lies in good government support. The threat that must be faced is the absence of regulations related to consumer protection in the digital sector. Among the strategic program that can be carried out is increasing digital sharia economic literacy and investment in Indonesia

    Get PDF
Technological development prior to industrial revolution 4.0 incentivized manufacturing industries to invest into digital industry with the aim of increasing the capability and efficiency in manufacturing activity. Major manufacturing industry has begun implementing cyber-physical system in industrial monitoring and control. The system itself will generate large volumes of data. The ability to process those big data requires algorithm called machine learning because of its ability to read patterns of big data for producing useful information. This study conducted on premises of Indonesia’s current network infrastructure and workforce capability on supporting the implementation of machine learning especially in large-scale manufacture. That will be compared with countries that have a positive stance in implementing machine learning in manufacturing. The conclusions that can be drawn from this research are Indonesia current infrastructure and workforce is still unable to fully support the implementation of machine learning technology in manufacturing industry and improvements are needed

Sustainable Bank Performance Antecedents in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era: A Conceptual Model

    Get PDF
The study proposes a conceptual model of sustainable bank performance antecedents in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. This study uses a qualitative perspective. Data gathering is done using depth interviews with the Indonesian Central Bank, the Authority of Financial Services, and the National Commercial Banks Association members. Using ethnography analysis from interviews, focus group discussions, and previous studies shows that many variables affect the performance. However, the exogenous variable on performance is without precisely placing fintech and regulations as an antecedent. The study results then constructed the fintech and regulations as intervening and moderating variables for the performance, whereas the other variables were as business driver variables. The study's improvement is that fintech and regulations are the main antecedents for the performance during the pandemic. Fintech is not only an entity outside the bank but also an innovation inside the bank. Moreover, the other improvement is that the bank is not only an institution of customer trust but also an institution with a full touch of technology. Consequently, banks must adopt fintech, and cooperating with fintech entities is a wise choice. The study then proposes a conceptual model of sustainable bank performance that connects business drivers, fintech, and regulations. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2022-06-04-09 Full Text: PD
