    Finite time Synchronization of Inertial Memristive Neural Networks with Time Varying Delay

    Finite time synchronization control of inertial memristor-based neural networks with varying delay is considered. In view of drive and response concept, the sufficient conditions to ensure finite time synchronization issue of inertial memristive neural networks is given. Based on Lyapunov finite time asymptotic theory, a kind of feedback controllers is designed for inertial memristorbased neural networks to realize the finite time synchronization. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, close loop error system can be proved finite time and fixed time stable. Finally, illustrative example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of theoretical results

    Finite-time stabilization for fractional-order inertial neural networks with time varying delays

    This paper deals with the finite-time stabilization of fractional-order inertial neural network with varying time-delays (FOINNs). Firstly, by correctly selected variable substitution, the system is transformed into a first-order fractional differential equation. Secondly, by building Lyapunov functionalities and using analytical techniques, as well as new control algorithms (which include the delay-dependent and delay-free controller), novel and effective criteria are established to attain the finite-time stabilization of the addressed system. Finally, two examples are used to illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the obtained results

    Exponential Lag Synchronization of Cohen-Grossberg Neural Networks with Discrete and Distributed Delays on Time Scales

    In this article, we investigate exponential lag synchronization results for the Cohen-Grossberg neural networks (C-GNNs) with discrete and distributed delays on an arbitrary time domain by applying feedback control. We formulate the problem by using the time scales theory so that the results can be applied to any uniform or non-uniform time domains. Also, we provide a comparison of results that shows that obtained results are unified and generalize the existing results. Mainly, we use the unified matrix-measure theory and Halanay inequality to establish these results. In the last section, we provide two simulated examples for different time domains to show the effectiveness and generality of the obtained analytical results.Comment: 20 pages, 18 figure

    New criteria on global Mittag-Leffler synchronization for Caputo-type delayed Cohen-Grossberg Inertial Neural Networks

    Our focus of this paper is on global Mittag-Leffler synchronization (GMLS) of the Caputo-type Inertial Cohen-Grossberg Neural Networks (ICGNNs) with discrete and distributed delays. This model takes into account the inertial term as well as the two types of delays, which greatly reduces the conservatism with respect to the model. A change of variables transforms the 2β 2\beta order inertial frame into β \beta order ordinary frame in order to deal with the effect of the inertial term. In the following steps, two novel types of delay controllers are designed for the purpose of reaching the GMLS. In conjunction with the novel controllers, utilizing differential mean-value theorem and inequality techniques, several criteria are derived to determine the GMLS of ICGNNs within the framework of Caputo-type derivative and calculus properties. At length, the feasibility of the results is further demonstrated by two simulation examples

    SATURATED AND ASYMMETRIC SATURATED IMPULSIVE CONTROL SYNCHRONIZATION OF COUPLED DELAYED INERTIAL NEURAL NETWORKS WITH TIME-VARYING DELAYS

    This paper considers control systems with impulses that are saturated and asymmetrically saturated which are used to examine the synchronization of inertial neural networks (INNs) with time-varying delay and coupling delays. Under the theoretical discussions, mixed delays, such as transmission delay and coupling delay are presented for inertial neural networks. The addressed INNs are transformed into first order differential equations utilizing variable transformation on INNs and then certain adequate conditions are derived for the exponential synchronization of the addressed model by substituting saturation nonlinearity with a dead-zone function. In addition, an asymmetric saturated impulsive control approach is given to realize the exponential synchronization of addressed INNs in the leader-following synchronization pattern. Finally, simulation results are used to validate the theoretical research findings

    Weighted Sum Synchronization of Memristive Coupled Neural Networks

Therefore, this paper proposes a new weighted sum synchronization model for memristive neural networks. Unlike the existing synchronization models of memristive neural networks which control each network node to reach synchronization, the proposed model treats the networks as dynamic entireties by weighted sum of node states and makes the entireties instead of each node reach expected synchronization. In this paper, weighted sum complete synchronization and quasi-synchronization are both investigated by designing feedback controller and aperiodically intermittent controller, respectively. Meanwhile, a flexible control scheme is designed for the proposed model by utilizing some switching parameters and can improve anti-interference ability of control system. By applying Lyapunov method and some differential inequalities, some effective criteria are derived to ensure the synchronizations of memristive neural networks. Moreover, the error level of the quasi-synchronization is given. Finally, numerical simulation examples are used to certify the effectiveness of the derived results.Peer reviewe

    A switching control for finite-time synchronization of memristor-based BAM neural networks with stochastic disturbances

    This paper deals with the finite-time stochastic synchronization for a class of memristorbased bidirectional associative memory neural networks (MBAMNNs) with time-varying delays and stochastic disturbances. Firstly, based on the physical property of memristor and the circuit of MBAMNNs, a MBAMNNs model with more reasonable switching conditions is established. Then, based on the theory of Filippov’s solution, by using Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and stochastic analysis technique, a sufficient condition is given to ensure the finite-time stochastic synchronization of MBAMNNs with a certain controller. Next, by a further discussion, an errordependent switching controller is given to shorten the stochastic settling time. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the effectiveness of theoretical results

    Finite-time stochastic synchronization of fuzzy bi-directional associative memory neural networks with Markovian switching and mixed time delays via intermittent quantized control

    We are concerned in this paper with the finite-time synchronization problem for fuzzy bi-directional associative memory neural networks with Markovian switching, discrete-time delay in leakage terms, continuous-time and infinitely distributed delays in transmission terms. After detailed analysis, we come up with an intermittent quantized control for the concerned bi-directional associative memory neural network. By designing an elaborate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, we prove under certain additional conditions that the controlled network is stochastically synchronizable in finite time: The 1st moment of every trajectory of the error network system associated to the concerned controlled network tends to zero as time approaches a finite instant (the settling time) which is given explicitly, and remains to be zero constantly thereupon. In the meantime, we present a numerical example to illustrate that the synchronization control designed in this paper is indeed effective. Since the concerned fuzzy network includes Markovian jumping and several types of delays simultaneously, and it can be synchronized in finite time by our suggested control, as well as the suggested intermittent control is quantized which could reduce significantly the control cost, the theoretical results in this paper are rich in mathematical implication and have wide potential applicability in the real world
