    Replicated ambient Petri nets

Recently we have introduced Ambient Petri nets, as a multilevel extension of the Elementary Object Systems, that can be used to model the concept of nested ambients from the Ambient Calculus. Both mobile computing and mobile computation are supported by that calculus, and then by means of our Ambient Petri nets we get a way to introduce in the world of Petri nets these important features of nowadays computing. Nevertheless, our basic proposal does not yet provide the suitable background for the modeling of replication, one of the basic operators from the original calculus, by means of which infinite processes are introduced and treated in a very simple way. In this paper we enrich our framework by introducing that operator. We obtain a simple and nice model in which the basic nets are still static and finite, since the dynamics of the systems can be covered by the adequate notion of marking, where all the copies generated by the application of the replication operator will live together, without interfering in an inadequate way

My NPO is: Churches struggle being relevant forces but could become restorative and thriving communities by rethinking traditional approaches to ecclesiology through reframing Biblical koinonia, mission, and worship. Curating a well-balanced “third space” that offers opportunities for people to engage in their spiritual pilgrimage will fill a void in our context. Additionally, it will offer the universal church another way to nurture community, define worship, and practice relational mission daily through radical hospitality. I serve a Presbyterian Church in North Carolina. The focus is to serve an 8-mile radius in the Piedmont Triad area focusing on the Nones and Dones of the community. This project is a detailed business plan for a community-based enterprise focused on coffee, wine/craft beer, food, and yoga. The plan also includes market analysis, competition, SWAT, financials, marketing, and a management summary. This business plan includes important elements that may be adapted and utilized by various organizations for their context. The Guiding principle is the belief that when people gather around the table, something powerful happens; sacramental community forms and in the act of sharing a meal the embodiment of worship takes place. The strength feasting together has in breaking down walls allows for Christ to bind the community together. Around the table people find space for vulnerability and authenticity. The mission of restoration for humanity through radical hospitality will not only inform koinonia but worship as well. This business plan will off the church universal an entryway to a new or reframed understanding of mission, worship and koinonia. This project lays a foundation for the church to engage in innovation around discovering what it means to be a new creation; reframing our Biblical images of worship, mission and koinonia will inform what it means to be church and how to embody church in fresh ways

Fostering Thinking Skills Through Creative Drama with Primary School Children with Learning Difficulties (LD) in Saudi Arabia

This study aimed to understand how the thinking skills of children with learning difficulties (LD) can be fostered by using ‘creative drama’ in the context of two primary schools for girls in Saudi Arabia. The educational vision of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 emphasises the importance of the development of skills, such as thinking skills, in addition to knowledge to prepare children for a modern, 21st-century world. Within the Saudi educational system, relatively little attention has been paid to learners with LD, especially with thinking skills as a focus. The study utilised a design-based research approach involving multiple iterations of creative drama sessions incorporating different thinking skills, designed and co-led by the researcher and the teachers. The participants were 14 children with LD (ages 7 to 12) and two teachers with backgrounds in special educational needs. The study was designed in two phases. Phase One was carried out in School A to test and then revise the initial design principles empirically. The findings of this phase were an advanced version of the design principles, which then guided Phase Two in School B. The main findings of this intervention were introducing the elements of the dynamic and collaborative culture established through the use of creative drama for fostering thinking skills. The findings contribute to the empirical and theoretical field of fostering thinking skills using tested design principles for utilising ‘creative drama’ as a medium for teaching. The data were collected by multiple methods: teacher conversations, participant observations, focus groups, and a research journal. The findings suggest that using creative drama as a medium of learning might foster thinking skills by creating a dynamic and inclusive environment. Moreover, promoting the thinking skills of children with LD requires a balance between the facilitator’s role and the learners’ agency. It also requires a collaborative learning culture that supports the children emotionally and provides a safe atmosphere. This DBR concluded that the implementation of creative drama fostered the thinking skills of children with LD and allowed them to practise a variety of thinking skills in a safe, supportive environment and a collaborative culture. By considering the context of the Saudi educational system, this study suggests that there is a need to further investigate a thinking skills approach that supports learners with LD, and suggests the importance of investigating multi-modality and embodied cognition in special education, especially at the primary school level
