A genetic algorithm for the design of a fuzzy controller for active queue management
Active queue management (AQM) policies are those
policies of router queue management that allow for the detection of network congestion, the notification of such occurrences to the
hosts on the network borders, and the adoption of a suitable control
policy. This paper proposes the adoption of a fuzzy proportional
integral (FPI) controller as an active queue manager for Internet
routers. The analytical design of the proposed FPI controller is
carried out in analogy with a proportional integral (PI) controller,
which recently has been proposed for AQM. A genetic algorithm is
proposed for tuning of the FPI controller parameters with respect
to optimal disturbance rejection. In the paper the FPI controller
design metodology is described and the results of the comparison
with random early detection (RED), tail drop, and PI controller
are presented
MODIFICATION OF ALEXNET ARCHITECTURE FOR DETECTION OF CAR PARKING AVAILABILITY IN VIDEO CCTV
The difficulty of finding a parking space in public places, especially during peak hours is a problem experienced by drivers. To assist the driver in finding parking space availability, a system is needed to monitor parking availability. One study to detect the availability of parking lots utilizing CCTV. However, research on the availability of parking spaces on CCTV data has several problems, detecting parking slots that are done manually to be inefficient when applied to different parking lots. Also, research to detect the availability of parking lots using the Convolution Neural Network (CNN) method with existing architecture has many parameters. Therefore, this study proposes a system to detect the availability of car parking lots using You Only Look Once (YOLO) V3 for marking the parking space and proposed a new architecture CNN called Lite AlexNet which has few parameters than other methods to speed up the process of detecting parking space availability. The best accuracy of the marking stage using YOLO V3 is 92.31% where the weather was cloudy. For the proposed Lite AlexNet get the best time training average which is 7 second compare to other existing methods and the average accuracy in every condition is 92.33% better than other methods
Review on Automatic Car Parking Indicator System
Parking is costly and limited in almost every major city in the world. An Automatic car parking systems for meeting near term parking demand are needed. There is need to develop a vacant parking slot detection and tracking system. Around view monitor (AVM) image sequence makes it possible with 360-degree scene Bird’s eye view camera. Around view monitor (AVM) captures the image sequence and on combining of each images empty slot is detected. The Ultrasonic sensor is useful to determine the adjacent vehicle. Hierarchical tree structure based parking slot marking method is used to recognize the parking slot marking. After combining sequentially detected parking slot, empty parking slot is recognized and the driver has to select one of the empty parking slots and drive into it.

SMARTPARK-Intelligent Parking Application using Image Processing
The Review paper discusses about the growing problem of car parking in urban areas due to the growing population .Due to growing population the number of vehicles has increased simultaneously and because of the limited parking lots, the problem of car parking is proliferating. In order to stop this, a system has been proposed to provide whole extensive proof based on growing urbanization, increasing traffic flow and technology growth for implementing innovative help and services to public transport system with aim to accelerate local social wealth by providing a mobile phone application for real time scanning and searching for available parking area and tracking the vacancy in the parking lot using existing technologies i.e. CCTV cameras. By having the image of the area, the particular car park slots can be detected and thereafter the processed information can be used as to guide the driver to an empty parking slot which will save his time. The whole idea is to make car parking more efficient and less tedious for the drivers
