    Automatic Image Stitching of Agriculture Areas based on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle using SURF

    Identification  of  agricultural  areas  in  remote  sensing  technology  is  needed  for  the development  of  agricultural  areas.  The  image  of  the  agricultural  area  in  this  study  uses  an Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV). The results of images taken from a height of 100 meters on the ground will be stored and processed into one image. UAV technology that supports this research is  expected  to  help  remote  sensing  in  real  time.  For  the  current  study,  measurements  in agricultural areas are related to some fragmented images. This article creates a beautiful view of the agricultural region. The author focuses on automatic image milling methods with detection- based image matching and description of patented local features from the dataset. The features method applied is based on speeded up robust features (SURF). The method of matching images and verification results is carried out. The result will create a 2-D spatial reference that starts the panorama size. This paper shows the results of image stitching in the agriculture area

    Image Mosaicing for Wide Angle Panorama

    Images are integral part in our daily lives. With a normal camera it is not possible to get a wide angle panorama with high resolution. Image Mosaicing is one of the novel techniques, for combining two or more images of the same scene taken in different views into one image. In the dark areas, the obtained image is a panoramic image with high resolution without mask. But in the case of lighting areas, the resultant image is generating mask. In order to gets wide angle panorama, in the existing system, extracting feature points, finding the best stitching line, Cluster Analysis (CA) and Dynamic Programming (DP) methods are used. Also used Weighted Average (WA) method for smooth stitching results and also eliminate intensity seam effectively. In the proposed system, to get feature extraction and feature matching SIFT (Scaled Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm used. In this process, outliers can be generated. RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) is used for detecting the outliers from the resultant image. Masking is significantly reduced by using Algebraic Reconstruction Techniques (ART)

    Automatic panoramic medical image stitching improvement based on feature-based approach

    Clarification publications in the medical field are very important in making doctors the right decision by finding evidence to support his decision, therefore, the importance of collecting medical images and combining them with multiple overlapping areas of the same scene is important. This (processing, multimedia images and their medical applications) is very difficult. Our system proposed in this paper is applicable to the medical field of scoliosis and other Rib cage. The problem is the narrow vision of the X-ray machine and the lack of a large picture in one frame, the best solution is to combine more than one x-ray image into one panoramic image, our proposed method relies on in light of feature based methodology by Circle (Oriented-FAST and Rotated-BRIEF). The rapid wave approach is used to describe the feature through the use of BRIEF technology, the standard that has been adopted in our technology to describe the performance of the planning is based on the processing time and image quality created. The purpose of using the feature extraction approach in our technology is to obtain a high-resolution panoramic image plus short processing time, the results that we were able to obtain, according to the experimental results applied, resulted in ORB image quality and recording time

    An in Depth Review Paper on Numerous Image Mosaicing Approaches and Techniques

    Image mosaicing is one of the most important subjects of research in computer vision at current. Image mocaicing requires the integration of direct techniques and feature based techniques. Direct techniques are found to be very useful for mosaicing large overlapping regions, small translations and rotations while feature based techniques are useful for small overlapping regions. Feature based image mosaicing is a combination of corner detection, corner matching, motion parameters estimation and image stitching.Furthermore, image mosaicing is considered the process of obtaining a wider field-of-view of a scene from a sequence of partial views, which has been an attractive research area because of its wide range of applications, including motion detection, resolution enhancement, monitoring global land usage, and medical imaging. Numerous algorithms for image mosaicing have been proposed over the last two decades.In this paper the authors present a review on different approaches for image mosaicing and the literature over the past few years in the field of image masaicing methodologies. The authors take an overview on the various methods for image mosaicing.This review paper also provides an in depth survey of the existing image mosaicing algorithms by classifying them into several groups. For each group, the fundamental concepts are first clearly explained. Finally this paper also reviews and discusses the strength and weaknesses of all the mosaicing groups

    High spatial resolution photo mosaicking for the monitoring of coralligenous reefs

    AbstractCoralligenous reefs are characterized by large bathymetric and spatial distribution, as well as heterogeneity; in shallow environments, they develop mainly on vertical and sub-vertical rocky walls. Mainly diver-based techniques are carried out to gain detailed information on such habitats. Here, we propose a non-destructive and multi-purpose photo mosaicking method to study and monitor coralligenous reefs developing on vertical walls. High-pixel resolution images using three different commercial cameras were acquired on a 10 m2 reef, to compare the effectiveness of photomosaic method to the traditional photoquadrats technique in quantifying the coralligenous assemblage. Results showed very high spatial resolution and accuracy among the photomosaic acquired with different cameras and no significant differences with photoquadrats in assessing the assemblage composition. Despite the large difference in costs of each recording apparatus, little differences emerged from the assemblage characterization: through the analysis of the three photomosaics twelve taxa/morphological categories covered 97–99% of the sampled surface. Photo mosaicking represents a low-cost method that minimizes the time spent underwater by divers and capable of providing new opportunities for further studies on shallow coralligenous reefs
