Quantum Key Distribution by Utilizing Four-Level Particles
We present a quantum key distribution protocol based on four-level particles
entanglement. Furthermore, a controlled quantum key distribution protocol is
proposed by utilizing three four-level particles. We show that the two
protocols are secure.Comment: 5 pages, no figur
Semiquantum key distribution using entangled states
Recently, Boyer et al. presented a novel semiquantum key distribution
protocol [M. Boyer, D. Kenigsberg, and T. Mor, Phys. Rev. Lett. 99, 140501
(2007)], by using four quantum states, each of which is randomly prepared by Z
basis or X basis. Here we present a semiquantum key distribution protocol by
using entangled states in which quantum Alice shares a secret key with
classical Bob. We also show the protocol is secure against eavesdropping.Comment: 6 page
Quantum cryptography as a retrodiction problem
We propose a quantum key distribution protocol based on a quantum
retrodiction protocol, known as the Mean King problem. The protocol uses a two
way quantum channel. We show security against coherent attacks in a
transmission error free scenario, even if Eve is allowed to attack both
transmissions. This establishes a connection between retrodiction and key
distribution.Comment: 5 pages, 1 figur
