DEVELOPING MULTIMEDIA COURSEWARE ABOUT TAJWEED FOR KIDS
As Muslims, they have obligation to recite Al-Quran in proper ways to get rid
from wrong meaning and interpretation. It actually refers to Tajweed principle or
knowledge and application of recitation rules on reading the AI- Quran verses. As any
languages in this world, wrong pronunciation will lead to wrong meanings. It will better if
it starts to explore during young age as the mind still fresh and active. However, currently
the students learn on Tajweed using books or paper-based materials which are boring and
dull. Thus, with the growth of the technology, this project will be developed "Jom Belajar
Tajwid" courseware that teaches Tajweed specifically custom made for children. With the
support of suitable learuing methods for kids, the developed multimedia courseware could
be used for educational purposes in schools or home especially for Muslim students
between 9 years old to 12 years old. The goal of this courseware is to demonstrate and
provide activity session and lessons for Tajweed learning in attractive way. The
courseware prototype will be developed using Adobe Flash as the main platform and
supported with other software such as Adobe Photoshop and Audacity. The expected
output for this project is a courseware which contains interesting and attractive design in
order to attract users. It will be user friendly and contains interesting animations
demonstrating in easy and fastest way. As the result, with redundant of texts, pictures and
audio provided in the courseware will increase performance of information processing
among kids to learn Tajweed supported by active involvement on their practices
Animation Courseware as a Learning Aid for Student ofC Language Research on "The Suitability of Multimedia Component Combinations Towards Effective Learning"
This research is developed in conjunction with the development of Animation
Courseware as a Learning Aid for Student of C Language. The title of this
research "The Suitability of Multimedia Component Combinations Towards
Effective Learning" derived from the development of Graphical User Interface
(GUI), in which merging the concept of Computer-based Learning (CBL) into the
current educational trend. The development of this animation courseware would
give a new dimension in developing educational software since it is planned to use
animations. This animations environment is a better way in learning especially when
the target subject is programming-based and the target users are among the students.
The primary objective is to introduce C Language lesson in multimedia learning
applications and the scope is specified in the range of the multimedia components,
the user interface design and the interactive multimedia learning application. The
author has narrowed the scope to just the chapter of functions due to the time
constraint.
In order to develop this animation courseware, there are some research
methodologies being used. The main resources during the development of this
animation courseware would be the lecturer of multimedia as well as the lecturer of
c programming.
This courseware would be a system that is fully required these days due to its
fulfillment in interactive needs today. Living in a fast lane in the world today, this is
very precious indeed. For people that are in the run, manual old-fashioned approach
in big fuzz. Therefore, learning interactively can save time thus having understood
the same as attending conventional classes, sometimes more
Inclusion and online learning opportunities: Designing for accessibility
Higher education institutions worldwide are adopting flexible learning methods and online technologies which increase the potential for widening the learning community to include people for whom participation may previously have been difficult or impossible. The development of courseware that is accessible, flexible and informative can benefit not only people with special needs, but such courseware provides a better educational experience for all students
Islamic Sex Education (ISE) conceptual model of cognitive theories–the findings
This study proposes a conceptual model of Islamic Sex Education (ISE) and an ISE courseware based on the model; named Al-Adab, in conveying rightful sex education information to the parents, particularly Muslims.By the end of the study two evaluations were conducted namely; learning evaluation and reaction evaluation to investigate the effectiveness of the prototype as well as the constructed model with 41 respondents, which are parents.Employing the pre and post test, learning evaluation that includes 15 similar questions about ISE was given before and after the respondents used the courseware prototype. Meanwhile, the reaction evaluation was given after the respondents used the courseware prototype in assessing the overall effectiveness of the prototype. After analyzing the data, we found that the correct answers of the learning evaluation were increased after the respondents used the prototype; and overall they agreed the effectiveness of the prototype in increasing their knowledge

Critical analysis in proposing a conceptual design model of assistive courseware for low vision (AC4LV) learners
This paper reports on an ongoing study, which intends to propose a conceptual design model of Assistive Courseware(AC) that is particularly designed for low vision learners (LV) learners.Altogether, 15 conceptual design
models of courseware were compared and analyzed exhaustively with the main objectives (i) to determine the research gaps in proposing a conceptual design model of AC4LV and (ii) to identify their common components.Through a systematic and critical analysis, this study discovers that all of the previous models do not suggest any specific conceptual design model of courseware that caters the visually-impaired (VI) particularly low vision (LV) learners in detail. It is noted that this is the research gap that should be the focal point for
further study. Also, the previous literatures suggest that Instructional Design (ID) model, learning theories, and learning approach must be the basic component in designing
the conceptual design model of courseware
Enhancing 3D Visualization for Learning Volumes of Solid, an Application in Integral Calculus
Mathematics is one of the major subjects which now integrates multimedia
technology to its instructional materials and has become a phenomenon all around
the world. The difficulty of visualizing mathematical concepts has been one of the
major factors for students who find mathematics challenging, especially in
calculating volumes of solid under the topic of integration. The objective of the
project is to investigate on the suitable technique to produce a 3-dimensional (3D)
visualization to demonstrate volumes of solid, and to develop a multimedia
courseware prototype for it. Next, is to evaluate the usability of the prototlpe. The
focus is on the methods of calculating volumes of solid under the topic of
integration, which is a topic in Calculus. A multimedia courseware using
Macromedia Toolbook implementing 2D graphics has been previously developed to
assist the foundation students in UTP to learn integration. To enhance the student's
visualization of calculating volumes of solid, a 3D graphics multimedia courseware
has been developed using the ADDIE model. The tools that are used to develop the
prototype are Blender for 3D modeling and SWiSH Max 4 for layout and
interactivity of courseware. Questionnaire has been dishibuted to get feedback from
the students pertaining to 3 categories which are visualization, navigation and
content. The key findings from the analysis showed that the use of video, images,
graph, audio and colour in the prototype is suitable
