    The impact of Covid-19 on tourism has been existential, devastating employment, businesses and livelihoods across the tourism sector. The quality of the interactions between tourists and tourism workers can significantly impact a company's reputation, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance. Therefore, it is essential that the level of service provided to tourist is of the highest possible standard, and that is being hard due to the lack of workforce and unqualified workers. For that reason, retain human resources is a crucial challenge for the tourism and hospitality industry. As the industry gradually recovers, it is important to implement strategies that help retain and engage the workforce in the companies. Hence, the internship in Abbey Group aims to analyse the company regarding the spectrum of social sustainability goals of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, and propose a combination of strategies to create a workplace environment that fosters loyalty, engagement, and commitment among the employees, helping the company retaining valuable human resources. Sustainability in the tour operator's business has become increasingly important and requires a comprehensive and integrated approach, that when well done can contribute to the preservation of natural and cultural resources while simultaneously benefiting their business and enhancing customer satisfaction, ensuring that way all stakeholders involved while protecting the planet's natural and cultural resources for generations to come.     This paper is about the position of workforce and employment considerations within the sustainable tourism narrative. It addresses the relative neglect of this area within discussion of sustainable tourism and highlights reference to it within the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Discussion follows of the merging field of sustainable HRM and the contribution that this can make to meeting both the sustainable development goals and to enhancing recognition of workforce and employment issues within related debate in tourism. The body of the paper consists of examples of how key dimensions of work and employment in tourism where sustainability is of increasing consequence and significance. The paper concludes by drawing together the implications of these 'mini-cases' and locating them within key principles of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Diverses són les contribucions que han volgut modelar i definir les característiques clau necessàries per crear universitats més sostenibles. Aquest article presenta una revisió de les pràctiques i iniciatives actuals a tot el món per assolir l'Agenda 2030 per al Desenvolupament Sostenible a les universitats. Inclou una anàlisi dels models existents d’universitats sostenibles, les pràctiques mediambientals i sostenibles, el fonament i la pedagogia de l’Educació per al Desenvolupament Sostenible (ESD), i el desenvolupament i innovació curricular per incorporar l’EDS a l’Educació Superior. A partir d’aquesta revisió de la literatura i de les iniciatives i fites clau en l’EDS, es detallen les implicacions i les vies clau per a futures investigacions i pràctiques de l’EDS a l’educació superior.Higher Education has been widely recognised as a principal agent for addressing the current sustainability challenge that society is facing, because of its key mission of knowledge generation and transfer through research and teaching. Several are the contributions that have sought to model and define the key features necessary for creating more sustainable universities. This article presents a review of current practices and initiatives worldwide towards achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at universities. It includes an analysis of existing models of sustainable universities, environmental and sustainable practices, the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) rationale and pedagogy, and curriculum development and innovation towards embedding ESD within Higher Education. Based on this review of the literature and key initiatives and milestones in ESD, key implications and pathways for future research and practice of ESD in Higher Education are outlined

The integration of inquiry-based learning, as well as the project based strategies, allowed students to develop multicultural skills that are crucial for becoming a global citizen. What is more, it provided the opportunity to integrate the scientific method and improve scientific writing by submitting a paper at the end of the project

    This article presents the results of analysis and evaluation of the main effects of the implementation of the eight UN Millennium Development Goals, in force until 2015, and to demonstrate differences between and prospects for implementation of the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, covering 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the international community for the next 15 years. The article also presents the contribution of the European Union as a key global donor of development aid for developing countries, especially for the least developed countries (LDCs), as well as plans for Poland’s implementation of the Post-2015 Agenda SDGs
