Ventspils (Latvia). 01-02 March 2015 and 07-09 March 2015 Purpose of the cruise The original scientific goal of this cruise, conducted in the framework of the WGL/Pakt project ILWAO-II, was the investigation of the role of internal waves for basin-scale vertical mixing in the deep basins of the Baltic Sea. In agreement with IOW’s board, however, it was decided to devote a substantial part of the cruise time to the observation of one of the rare major saline inflow events that reached the central Baltic Sea exactly at the time of this cruise.     Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan pembahasan pengaruh redesain Motorized Operating Valve (MOV) debris filter terhadap efisiensi panas condensor dan perhitungan efisiensi keseluruhan serta efisiensi panas condensor pada beban bervariasi dan pada saat condensor beroperasi satu sisi condensor akibat terjadinya pengotoran pada debris filter. Pengambilan data perhitungan bersumber dari manual book, control room (CCR) dan lokal, dengan pengambilan 5 data. Pengambilan data diambil pada tanggal 02 Februari 2015 beban 138 MW, 27 Februari 2015 beban 225,5 MW, 19 Maret 2015 beban 165 MW, 03 April 2015 beban 110 MW dan 01 Mei 2015 beban 305 MW. Hasil analisa dapat disimpulkan bahwa efisiensi panas keseluruhan paling tinggi terjadi pada tanggal 01 Mei 2015 yaitu 66,52% dan paling rendah pada tanggal 03 April 2015 yaitu 55,39%. Efisiensi panas condensor paling tinggi terjadi pada tanggal 01 Mei 2015 yaitu 82,11% dan paling rendah pada tanggal 03 April 2015 yaitu 43,23% saat unit 1 beroperasi satu sisi condensor. Ketika dibandingkan efisiensi panas condensor cenderung turun drastis saat beroperasi satu sisi condensor. Hal ini menyebabkan daya yang dihasilkan tidak dapat maksimal. Results of analysis can be concluded that the highest overall thermal efficiency occurred on May 1, 2015 is 66.52% and the lowest was on April 3, 2015 is 55.39%. The most high efficiency condensing heat occurred on May 1, 2015 is 82.11% and the lowest was on April 3, 2015 is 43.23% while unit 1 operates a condensor side. When compared to the efficiency of condensing heat tends to fall drastic when operating the condensing side. This causes the generated power can’t be maximized.     Stimulants for enhancement purposes: perceptions attitudes, usage among university students

    Objective: Determine perceptions, attitudes, and usage of non medical prescription stimulants among students at a Midwestern technology focused university. Participants: 241 university students. Methods: Data was collected in March 2015 through an anonymous web survey. A logistic regression model evaluated predictors. T-test was used to evaluate differences between groups. Results: 9.5% had used prescription stimulants without a valid prescription. Primary motives were academic preparation (78%) and recreation (61%). Nicotine use (OR = 8.99, CI 2.40, 33.77, p \u3c .01), peer\u27s suggestion (OR = 6.95, C12.21, 21.84, p \u3c .01), and positive attitudes toward use (OR = 1.99, CI 1.06, 3.72, p \u3c .05) increased odds of nonmedical use. Users and non-users differed in estimations of nonmedical use within peers (t (239) = 3.17, p \u3c .01) and in their field (t (239) = 3.22, p \u3c .01). Conclusions: Administrators should acknowledge student use and develop strategies to address it

    Background.In 2015, a large nationwide measles outbreak occurred in Mongolia, with very high incidence in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar and among young adults.Methods.We conducted an outbreak investigation including a matched case-control study of risk factors for laboratory-confirmed measles among young adults living in Ulaanbaatar. Young adults with laboratory-confirmed measles, living in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, were matched with 2\u20133 neighborhood controls. Conditional logistic regression was used to estimate adjusted matched odds ratios (aMORs) for risk factors, with 95% confidence intervals.Results.During March 1\u2013September 30, 2015, 20 077 suspected measles cases were reported; 14 010 cases were confirmed. Independent risk factors for measles included being unvaccinated (adjusted matched odds ratio [aMOR] 2.0, P < .01), being a high school graduate without college education (aMOR 2.6, P < .01), remaining in Ulaanbaatar during the outbreak (aMOR 2.5, P < .01), exposure to an inpatient healthcare facility (aMOR 4.5 P < .01), and being born outside of Ulaanbaatar (aMOR 1.8, P = .02).Conclusions.This large, nationwide outbreak shortly after verification of elimination had high incidence among young adults, particularly those born outside the national capital.     Simulations of Beam Quality in a 13 MeV PET Cyclotron

    Simulation of the trajectories of negative hydrogen ion (H−) beam in a 13 MeV PET cyclotron (DECY-13) were carried out by using the Runge-Kutta (RK4) approximation method and Scilab 5.4.1. The magnetic and electric fields were calculated using Opera-3d/TOSCA softwares at 1 mm resolution. The cyclotron is of a fourth-harmonics type, meaning that the acceleration occurs four times per cycle, with a radiofrequency (RF) field of 77.66 MHz frequency and 40 kV amplitude. The calculations and simulations show that the maximum distance between the ion source and the puller is about 6 mm, while the maximum width of the beam at 13 MeV is about 10 mm, and the initial phase between the RF field and the beam ranges from -10° to 10°, with a yield of about 10% of the beam from the ion source getting accelerated to 13 MeV.Received: 12 March 2015; Revised:30 June 2015; Accepted: 01 July 201
