``Osteogenesis imperfecta'' and ``vitreous osteoporosis'' are genetic diseases in most of their cases, that is, it is sufficient for one of the parents to be a disease carrier in order to have one of their children suffering from it. It is the main protein source in the bone structure leading to this disorder; however, the genetic factor is the most common and accounts for about 80 to 85% of the causes of osteogenesis imperfecta. The congenital bone disorder is associated with a defect in the connective tissue, which leads to the inability to build or form bones. It leads to easy bone fractures, and the cause of these fractures is often unclear. Keywords: rulings, jurisprudence, syndrome, epigenetics, bone, Lobstein, jurisprudence, Islamic

The Role of Ecclesiastical Religious Institutions in Translating the Holy Quran

    Get PDF
In this research, I mentioned the role played by churches and monasteries in translating the meanings of the Noble Qur'an. How the church was able to impose its religious authority and transform the ancient Roman Empire, which extends geographically from the beaches of the Euphrates in the east to Scotland in the west and from the Danube in the north to the desert in the south, into a fighting religious doctrine. What was the great change made by Constantine in Christianity, after he gave wide powers to the church, raised its affairs, and gave the monks and priests many privileges and left them freedom in managing church affairs and issuing laws. As mentioned in the systems of churches and cultural monasteries that started from Spain and southern France and its role in translation of the Holy Quran, where the first Latin translation of the Holy Qur'an appeared in the year 1143 AD followed-by the translations of Islamic books after that. I also mentioned about the translation schools that spread quickly in Spain, and how Europe was drawn from the flag of Muslims and translated further into Latin, which is the language of the times in its time. This research also shows the role played by the Clooney monastery in their first translation and its advantages. I also touched on the reasons for the orientalists' interest in the studies of the Holy Qur'an. I ask God Almighty to make my work pure for his noble face. Keywords: translation of the Qur'an, the role of the Church, the Monastery of Clooney, the Orientalists, the Qur'a

Trichilemmal Cyst of the Penis in a Paediatric Patient

    Get PDF
Paediatric penile cysts are uncommon. We report a five-year-old child with an asymptomatic progressively growing cyst on the ventral aspect of the penis after a hypospadias repair. The patient presented to the Cooper Health Clinic, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in March 2012. A complete excision of the cyst was performed. Histology results delineated a capsulated benign trichilemmal cyst. No recurrence or complications were reported in the 26 months following the excision. We recommend an early and complete excision of all penile cysts to prevent the risk of urethral obstruction, infection, inflammation and rare malignant changes. This is the first reported case of a penile trichilemmal cyst in a child

Some Pictorial Expressions of Samin al-Halabi, May God Have Mercy on Him, Part One

    Get PDF
Al-Sameen Al-Halabi (may God have mercy on him) is considered one of the scholars who were interested in language, grammar, morphology, and interpretation. His book ``Umdat al-Hafiz to the Interpretation of Ashraf Words,'' a linguistic dictionary of the words of the Noble Qur'an, is the only evidence of his interest in grammar, language, and interpretation. The author arranged the words mentioned in the Qur'an according to the letters of the lexicon based on the origins of the word without its appendices. Then he mentions in each of its articles a linguistic analysis accompanied by a verse from the Qur'an, then with hadith, poetry, and sometimes with one of the proverbs. He was often found citing the sayings of the imams and the language to support the (linguistic) idea that he is discussing. He made strange hadiths in it as well and mentioned linguistic evidence, which is close to two thousand, with some grammatical and rhetorical benefits. Book with scientific indexes. Keywords: interpretation, the Qur'an, Al-Samin Al-Halabi, figurative expressions, the mayor of Al-Hafiz &nbsp

A Case of an Undifferentiated Embryonal Sarcoma of the Liver Mimicking a Liver Abscess

    Get PDF
An undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver is a rare malignant tumour. We highlight the diagnostic dilemma and differential diagnosis of a case involving a large cystic liver lesion in a young adult. A 20-year-old man presented with a large liver lesion to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in February 2012. The initial clinico-radiological presentations were suggestive of a liver abscess. A total tumour resection was performed and the final histopathological results of the resected specimen indicated an undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver. The ultrasound and computed tomographic images of the tumour were reviewed and found to be contradictory in appearance, as the tumour seemed predominantly solid in the ultrasound image and predominantly cystic in the computed tomographic image. Familiarisation with the imaging appearance of this tumour and a high index of suspicion is therefore crucial in making a successful diagnosis

This research aims to clarify the nature of modernist interpretation and the trends that branched from it to interpret the Noble Qur'an according to invented rules far from fundamentalist controls, imported Western theories, and outside the constants and consensus of the nation. This research is an overview of this current interpretation, which is considered an infiltration of the nation from within. Let us destroy its structure and demolish its pillars under the slogans of modernity, renewal, and enlightenment. I reviewed some of these trends, their symbols, and their advocates. Then I dealt with one of the feminist interpretations of the Holy Qur'an and reviewed its Western roots, most prominent advocates, pillars, and intellectual foundations. Keywords: modernist interpretation, modernity, enlightenment, feminism, gender, feminist interpretation, deviation in interpretation

This study is conducted under the title The Umayyad Emirate House . This House is located at the southern and western sites of Haram al-Sharif in Jerusalem. This House, which was the center of the Umayyad Administration, its landmarks were completely obliterated and a Torah Park and a museum were built on its ruins. This museum reflects the Jewish history and the park is a touristic place known by Mataher Al Haykal . In the first chapter, the researcher handled the conquest of Jerusalem and the developments which occurred to this city during the peak of Islam and the Umayyad State: In the Second chapter, the researcher presented Jerusalem as the Capital of the Jond Palestine: In the Third chapter the researcher handled the discovery, monuments and building of the Umayyad House and its ruins: In the Fourth chapter the researcher handled the judaization of the Umayyad Emirate House, the obliteration of its landmarks and the construction of both a Torah park named »King David Park» and a museum on its ruins. This museum addresses the stages of the Jewish History in Palestine. Moreover, outside the current walls of Jerusalem, where the Umayyad Emirate House extends, a tourist station named Mataher Al Haykal was established as a station of the Talmudian Tourist Road which connects south Jerusalem to North Jerusalem passing through its Old City district. The action of distortion and obliteration of this Islamic site, as a part of the methodological judaization of the city, is considered a serious challenge and clear violation for all international conventions and treaties that recognize Jerusalem as an occupied city. Also, the constructions which were established on the Umayyad Emirate House is considered as an explicit infringement, breaching and unrightful desecration of the lands of Islamic Waqf in this Holy City
