    Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Kualitas ikan yang baik menentukan harga jual yang tinggi di pasaran. Dalam hal ini maka diperlukan penanganan yang tepat oleh nelayan pada saat ikan di dapatkan. Untuk menjaga kesegaran ikan nelayan menggunakan ruang muat semi permanen dengan bahan Polistirena dan Seng sebagai insulasinya. Nelayan biasa menggunakan es basah sebagai media pendinginya. Nelayan tradisional dimana waktu melautnya sangat tergantung pada lama waktu Coolbox mempertahankan temperaturnya. Pada penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengetahui seberapa tahan insulasi yang di gunakan para nelayan tersebut terhadap waktu dan temperature , dan pengaruh ketebalan Polistirena terhadap kekuatan Coolbox untuk mempertahankan suhu agar tetap dingin. Percobaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan es 15 kg dengan waktu selama 2 hari / 48 jam. Dari hasil pengujian alat pendingin yang dibuat dengan insulator Polistirena dan seng dapat mempertahankan suhu pada ruang muat kapal ikan pada periode tertentu. Aplikasi Coolbox dengan menggunakan insolator Polisterina dengan ketebalan 4 cm dan Seng 0,1 cm mampu mempertahankan es selama 48 jam dengan suhu Coolbox rata-rata 2Ā°C . Sedangkan Insolator Polistirena dengan ketebalan 2 cm dan Seng 0,1 cm hanya mampu mempertahankan es selama 24 jam dengan suhu rata-rata 6,6Ā°C. Nilai laju panas dari dalam Coolbox dengan ketebalan insulasi Polisterina 2 cm lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan insulasi ketebalan Polisterina 4 cm

    Strengthening the Character of Global Diversity Based on Integrative Morale in the Teaching Campus Program in Makassar City

    The main problem is poor students who experience character degradation, so they need character strengthening. The aim of the research is to produce a character strengthening model based on moral integration for elementary school students in Teaching Campus activities in Makassar City. This study used mixed methods research methods. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results of strengthening the character of global diversity, in the aspect of knowing and appreciating the noble culture of one's own nation and the culture of other nations, have the ability to communicate interculturally in interacting with others, and reflect or be responsible for the practice of diversity which is very good, at all stages of knowing, feeling, moral sinverbal, action, habitus and culture from various teaching campus activities such as teaching assistance by teaching students to be able to interact with all students at school despite different ethnicities, religions and social status and inviting students to think about what good things can be taken from ethnic diversity, religion and social status of students. All of these activities are integrated into intra-curricular activities, co-curricular activities, non-curricular and extra-curricular activities involving school principals, teachers (classes, subjects, counseling), students, lecturers and parents.     The Implementation of ā€˜Comic Lifeā€™ Through Directed Reading Activities to Increase Studentsā€™ Reading Comprehension

    The research was conducted to know the effectiveness of the use of Comic Life through Directed Reading Activities to increase studentsā€™ reading comprehension. It covered studentsā€™ literal comprehension, interpretive comprehension and applied comprehension. And to find out the studentsā€™ interest in teaching reading comprehension toward the application of Comic Life through Directed Reading Activities to increase studentsā€™ reading comprehension. The research method employed was quasi experimental. This research was designed into two groups, namely experimental group and control group. Each group consisted of 32 students. The sample was chosen by applying cluster sampling technique. The researcher used multiple choice of reading test both in experimental and control groups. The data obtained through the test were analyzed by using inferential statistic through SPSS 16.0 program. The research findings showed that Comic Life through Directed Reading Activities gave higher contribution to the studentsā€™ reading comprehension. The mean score of pre- test of the experimental and control group was not significantly different. The mean score of post- test of the experimental group was higher than the control group (75.62 > 56.87). Besides, all the three level of comprehension improved after the treatment, the literal level got the highest improvement with 9.69 point. It was followed by interpretive level which got 21.25 point and applied level which got 42.19 point improvement. This led to the conclusion that the application of Comic Life through Directed Reading Activities increased the studentsā€™ reading comprehension. It means that the use of Comic Life through Directed Reading Activities in teaching reading is very effective to increase the studentsā€™ reading comprehension

    Impact of Axe Bow Hull Shape on Patrol Ship Resistance, Freeboard, and Trim

    Patrol Ship is a type of ship that prioritizes speed because of its function to secure water areas. This study uses patrol ship design as the object of study in determining the amount of ship resistance because this ship uses an ax bow hull form, the purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Axe Bow type hull form on ship resistance, freeboard, and ship trim. The method used in this study is a simulation method with the help of maxsurf software. The results of this study indicate that using the Ax Bow Hull Shape model gives a resistance value of 245.9 kN with a speed of 25 knots, a freeboard value of 0.95, and a trim of 0.006575 m and is included in the "Accepted" category. With these results, the use of the axe bow model for patrol ships can be used as an alternative in selecting the hull shape of a fast ship

Namun sudah menjalar, hingga kepelosok-pelosok pedesaan terutama dikalangan anak muda. Meski sebagian diantara anak muda desa ini tak terlalu memanfaatkan berbagai aplikasi yang ada pada alat komunikasi mereka, namun yang pasti rata-rata mereka mengaku aktif menggunakan Media sosial pada gadget dan smartphone milik mereka. Fenomena baru dikalangan masyarakat, khususnya para anak muda ini tentunya memberikan peluang-peluang tersendri. Salah satunya dibidang komunikasi politik, baik bagi pemerintah, dan politikus. Apatah lagi menjelang pemilihan kepala daerah serentak dibeberapa daerah, dan juga pemilihan legislatif nantinya. Namun tentunya diperlukan pemahaman dan pendekatan yang baik dan tepat, agar pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai komunikasi politik bisa tepat sasaran sesuai yang diharapkan. Untuk itu diperlukan pemahaman dan kajian dari berbagai asfek, terutama dari segi komunikasi antar budaya, psikologi komunikasi, dampak media dan lain sebagainya. Karena tak tertutup kemungkinan, penggunaan media sosial yang ā€œserampanganā€ atau ceroboh malah akan menjadi ā€œboomerangā€, yang dapat merugikan pengguna media sosial itu sendiri dari sisi komunikasi politik.     Strengthening Character Through Character Habitus in Students of the Sociology Education Study Program and Pancasila and Citizenship Education

    The problem of this research is that students experience demoralization of character so that they need character strengthening in the lecture process at college. The purpose of the research is to shape the character of students through character habitus in the lecture process. This study uses the mix-method concurrent embedded method with 10 research informants and 55 research respondents. The research data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observations, then the data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that character strengthening through character habitus in three levels, namely habitus dissemination by lecturers, acceptance of habitus by students and collective habitus by lecturers and students through the lecture process. Habitus character provides reinforcement for the character of discipline, responsibility, religious, honest, hard work, independent, curiosity, respect for achievement and a love of reading for students of the Sociology Education study program and students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar.Masalah penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa mengalami demoralisasi karakter sehingga membutuhkan penguatan karakter dalam proses perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk membentuk karakter mahasiswa melalui habitus karakter dalam proses perkuliahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mix-method concurrent embedded dengan informan penelitian 10 orang dan responden penelitian 55 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket, wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penguatan karakter melalui habitus karakter dalam tiga tingkatan yaitu desiminasi habitus yang dilakukan dosen, penerimaan habitus oleh mahasiswa dan habitus kolektif oleh dosen dan mahasiswa melalui proses perkuliahan. Habitus karakter memberikan penguatan pada karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, religious, jujur, kerja keras, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi dan gemar membaca pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Sosiologi dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar

    The Innovation and Creativity of Religious Moderation Learning Through Sociology Learning and Pancasila and Citizenship Education in Public Schools and Madrasas Gorontalo City

    This study aims to explore educators' ideas regarding learning materials and methods that integrate moderation insights by utilizing creative learning media carried out in public schools and madrasas. The value of moderation insight is urgent to be implemented for students, given the widespread dissemination of information through misleading online media, including intolerant religious messages. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection conducted through interviews and FGDs. The results of the study show: (1) Educators are very creative in using learning media technology, including: zoom meeting applications, WhatsApp, Telegram, and E-learning. Platforms provided by Google (Google Classroom, Google Forms, Google Meet), Kingmaster, Filmmora, Font Art, Camtasia, Quizizz, Microsoft 365, and create innovative learning modules. (2) Materials containing the value of religious moderation are found and integrated in various subjects, including Pancasila and Citizenship Education Lessons. The effectiveness of the use of learning media through the media has a significant impact on students' attitudes and experience improvement, as well as seriousness in participating in learning boldly.Ā Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggali gagasan pendidik terkait materi dan metode pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan wawasan moderasi beragama dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran secara kreatif yang dilaksanakan di sekolah umum dan madrasah. Nilai wawasan moderasi beragama urgen untuk diimplementasikan kepada peserta didik, mengingat maraknya penyebaran informasi melalui media online yang menyesatkan, termasuk pesan-pesan keagamaan yang intoleran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui wawancara dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kalangan pendidik sangat kreatif menggunakan teknologi media pembelajaran, meliputi: aplikasi zoom meeting, WhatsApp, Telegram, dan E-learning. Platform yang disediakan oleh Google (Google Classroom, Google Forms, Google Meet), Kingmaster, Filmora, Font Art, Camtasia, Quizizz, Microsoft 365, dan membuat modul pembelajaran yang inovatif. (2) Materi yang mengandung nilai moderasi beragama ditemukan dan diintegrasikan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran antara lain mata pelajaran sosiologi dan Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.
