    The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying the cooperative learning technique of jingling studs. The research is classroom action research (PTK) that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016, there are 36 students in the class, consist of 17 boys and 19 girls. Data collecting through observation and written test. The observation was doing for the observation of learning activity of teacher and students, of student's attitude and of student's skill. While written test which in daily test form was doing to evaluate student's knowledge.Base on the result of analysis, the percentage of students passing the Minimun Completeness Criteria (MCC) on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 16,76%, 66,67%, and 75%. The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students' learning outcomes also increase. The result of research conclude that applying the cooperative learning technique of jingling studs can improves the learning process and improves mathematics achievement of VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016

    This classroom action research is aimed at improving learning process and improving mathematics learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning with Structural Think Pair Square Approach. The research subjects are 24 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIIC class of Islamic Junior High School Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. The research consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the increasing number of students passing Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) in daily test I and daily test II. The research shows that teachers and students' activities were conducted well as planned. Most of the students participated actively in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student's worksheet, responding to classmate's presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Therefore, it can be said that improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing the MCC on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 9 students (35%), 10 students (41,67%), dan 17 students (70,83%). The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students' learning outcomes also increase. Finally, the research also shows that cooperative learning with structural Think Pair Square approach can improve mathematic learning process and learning outcomes of VIIC class students at Islamic Junior High School Az-Zuhra Pekanbaru

    This research aimed to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes students of class VIII.7 SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu in the first semester academic years 2014/2015 with applied of Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). The research are two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. At the end of each cycle, daily tests are carried out. Data collected through observation and tests in the form of daily tests. Observation is used to collect teacher and student activities during learning process, test is used to collect mathematic outcomes and will given in form daily test. The results show the activity of teachers and students in learning has been in line with the lesson plan. Most of the students have participated actively in the learning process that has been exercised, such as step-by-step learning, presenting student worksheets or question papers, responding a fellow classmate's presentation, and giving learning conclusions. Results of this research indicate that the application of Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning process and improve the mathematics learning outcomes math class VIII.7 SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu in the first semester academic years 2014/2015

    This research based on the students'mathematics achievement at class XI MS II Senior High School Plus of Riau Province with cooperative learning Think Pair Square (TPS), there are 24 students in the class with 18 are male and 6 female. There are 20 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 83,3% for attitude competence. Only 10 students who achieved the pasing grade by percentage 41,6% for knowledge competence and 12 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 50% for skill competence for the main discussion about relevancy with algebraic operations on matrix. The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students' math achievement at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Tapungthrough the implentation cooperative learning model of structural Two Stay Two Stray.The subject of the research are 24 students from class XI MS II Senior High School Plus of Riau Province with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation, attitude assessment sheet, skill assessment sheet and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative,and for students'test by using descriptiveand quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement for attitude competence from the based-score with the percentage 83,3% to 87,5% on the first cycle and 100% on the second cycle. For knowledge competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 41,6% to 62,5% on the first cycle and 83,3% on the second cycle. And for skills competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 50% to 62,5% on the first cycle and 87,5% on the second cycle. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Square could improve students' mathematics achievement at class XI MS II Senior High School Plus of Riau Province in the first semester academic years 2014/2015

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Ict pada Pokok Bahasan Lingkaran untuk Siswa Kelas VIII Smp/mts

    The background of this study is the lack of ICT-based learning media especially on geometry in the topic of circle. The topic of circle has potency to be developed visually by using a computer device to facilitate students to understand this topic. This study used Borg and Gall's model that was modified by Sugiyono. The aim of this study is to develop valid and practical ICT-based media for learning mathematics to facilitate the 8th grade junior high school students to understand the topic of circle. The subjects were 35 students at 8th grade Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru. The instruments used were a questionnaire sheet for content validation, media validation and student responses. The questionnaires sheets were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The analyzed data and discussion showed that ICT-based media for learning mathematics is valid with an average score of 3.16 by content validator and 2.85 by media validator. This media is also qualified and practical with an average of student responses was 0.98 on a small group test and 0.93 in the big group
