Searching for initial stage of massive star formation around the H II region G18.2-0.3

Sometimes the early star formation can be found in cold and dense molecular clouds, such as infrared dark cloud (IRDC). Considering star formation often occurs in clustered condition, HII regions may be triggering a new generation of star formation, so we can search for initial stage of massive star formation around HII regions. Based on that above, this work is to introduce one method of how to search for initial stage of massive star formation around HII regions. Towards one sample of the HII region G18.2-0.3, multiwavelength observations are carried out to investigate its physical condition. In contrast and analysis, we find three potential initial stages of massive star formation, suggesting that it is feasible to search for initial stage of massive star formation around HII regions.Comment: 15 pages, 8 figures, 5 tables. Determination of Nucleopolyhedrovirus’ Taxonomic Position

    Get PDF
To date , over 78 genomes of nucleopolyhedroviruses (NPVs) have been sequenced and deposited in NCBI. How to define a new virus from the infected larvae in the field is usually the first question. Two NPV strains, which were isolated from casuarina moth (L. xylina) and golden birdwing larvae (Troides aeacus), respectively, displayed the same question. Due to the identity of polyhedrin (polh) sequences of these two isolates to that of Lymantria dispar MNPV and Bombyx mori NPV, they are named LdMNPV-like virus and TraeNPV, provisionally. To further clarify the relationships of LdMNPV-like virus and TraeNPV to closely related NPVs, Kimura 2-parameter (K-2-P) analysis was performed. Apparently, the results of K-2-P analysis that showed LdMNPV-like virus is an LdMNPV isolate, while TraeNPV had an ambiguous relationship to BmNPV. Otherwise, MaviNPV, which is a mini-AcMNPV, also exhibited a different story by K-2-P analysis. Since K-2-P analysis could not cover all species determination issues, therefore, TraeNPV needs to be sequenced for defining its taxonomic position. For this purpose, different genomic sequencing technologies and bioinformatic analysis approaches will be discussed. We anticipated that these applications will help to exam nucleotide information of unknown species and give an insight and facilitate to this issue

Impact and compensation of sample clock offset in I-CFDMA uplink

To achieve the sample clock synchronization in the interleaved code and frequency division multiple access(I-CFDMA)uplink,the I-CFDMA uplink model was established, and the disturbance of the sample clock offset(SCO)on the system model was discussed,in addition, the signal time shift, phase rotation,multi-user interference(MUI)and inter-carrier interference(ICI)caused by SCO were analyzed quantitatively. On this basis,a compensation method of multi-user SCO was proposed. For one thing, the relevant metric function was modified considering the SCO of each user; for another thing,a multi-user detection(MUD)algorithm based on harmony search was proposed. This algorithm has a higher efficiency than the commonly-used genetic algorithm(GA),as well as a performance approximate to that of optimal detection without SCO but with 1 64 computational burden. The computer simulation results validate the conclusions obtained
