Perceptions About Implementation Of Service Robots In Hospitality Businesses In Kazakhstan And Russia - Comparative Analysis
Our goal is to assess the understanding and acceptance of robotization in hospitality, based on research done in the two countries. This research applies a survey method to collect respondents’ opinion of hospitality employees vs hospitality customers. The main sampling frames are formed by employees of hotels, restaurants and other hospitality businesses. Five hypotheses are studied and tested for the two categories of respondents in each country. The results from the statistical analysis differ for the studied countries, and between the two studied categories of respondents. The study confirms the expectations of improving the quality and increasing the effectiveness of robotizing the hospitality businesses. This research adds knowledge and understanding of how the hospitality employees and customers in Kazakhstan and Russia consider the implementation of service robots. The statistics show that the findings have value and can be used by hospitality managers when they consider possible robotization
Desenvolvimento de habilidades de fala no ambiente educacional ISL E-learning
The article focuses on the peculiarities of teaching speaking in E-learning educational environment, which today is a must for organizing educational process of high quality. The material to analyze is based on the on-line part of the course "Foreign language practice (English)", worked out for the students of Bachelor’s Program "Pedagogical Education (double major) and Second Foreign language " (5 years, full time) of Kazan Federal University. The status of foreign language teachers has always been high as they play an important role in fostering cross-cultural communication, in promoting tolerance and bridging nations and countries. It is up to teachers to make students understand the essence of successful communication that lies in respecting the diversity of cultures, peoples, nations, and languages. In this respect being culturally competent is of great importance (MINGAZOVA; MELLO; GAFIYATOVA, 2017). The course "Foreign language practice (English)" is located on the platform edu.kpfu.ru. Special attention is paid to the implementation of a communicative approach when teaching speaking, considering the individual educational trajectory of the student or the study group. In addition, the research gives the gist of the theoretical analysis and the results of the experimental testing of the teaching speaking approaches, the effectiveness of the methods used when forming speaking skills of the students. Thus, we could state that when teaching speaking in E-learning educational environment, it is necessary to conduct preparatory stages in the form of studying and training new vocabulary online, which leads to the possibility to give more time to group forms of work during face-to-face classes. The groundwork and analysis of the selected factual material indicate that, teaching speaking can be effectively carried out online, if certain requirements are met, such as the use of a communicative approach, the proper organization of individual and group work, high self-discipline and motivation of the student and the teacher. The use of E-learning educational environment can improve the quality of training speaking skills in higher educational institution.El artículo se centra en las peculiaridades de la enseñanza del habla en el entorno educativo E-learning, que hoy en día es imprescindible para organizar procesos educativos de alta calidad. El material a analizar está basado en la parte on-line del curso "Práctica de lengua extranjera (inglés)", elaborado para los alumnos del Programa de Licenciatura "Educación Pedagógica (doble especialización) y Segunda Lengua Extranjera" (5 años, tiempo completo) de la Universidad Federal de Kazán. El estatus de los profesores de lenguas extranjeras siempre ha sido alto, ya que desempeñan un papel importante en el fomento de la comunicación intercultural, en la promoción de la tolerancia y en unir naciones y países. Depende de los maestros hacer que los estudiantes comprendan la esencia de una comunicación exitosa que radica en respetar la diversidad de culturas, pueblos, naciones e idiomas. En este sentido, ser culturalmente competente es de gran importancia (MINGAZOVA; MELLO; GAFIYATOVA, 2017). El curso "Práctica de lenguas extranjeras (inglés)" se encuentra en la plataforma edu.kpfu.ru. Se presta especial atención a la implementación de un enfoque comunicativo en la enseñanza del habla, considerando la trayectoria educativa individual del alumno o del grupo de estudio. Además, la investigación da la esencia del análisis teórico y los resultados de las pruebas experimentales de los enfoques de enseñanza oral, la efectividad de los métodos utilizados al formar las habilidades de expresión oral de los estudiantes. Así, podríamos afirmar que a la hora de enseñar a hablar en el entorno educativo E-learning, es necesario realizar etapas preparatorias en forma de estudio y formación de nuevo vocabulario en línea, lo que conlleva la posibilidad de dar más tiempo a formas de trabajo grupal durante el presencial. -Clases presenciales. El trabajo de base y el análisis del material fáctico seleccionado indican que, la enseñanza del habla puede llevarse a cabo de manera efectiva en línea, si se cumplen ciertos requisitos, como el uso de un enfoque comunicativo, la organización adecuada del trabajo individual y grupal, alta autodisciplina y motivación del alumno y del profesor. O status dos professores de línguas estrangeiras sempre foi elevado, pois eles desempenham um papel importante na promoção da comunicação transcultural, na promoção da tolerância e na aproximação entre nações e países. Cabe aos professores fazer com que os alunos compreendam a essência da comunicação bem-sucedida que reside no respeito à diversidade de culturas, povos, nações e línguas. Neste aspecto, ser culturalmente competente é de grande importância (MINGAZOVA; MELLO; GAFIYATOVA, 2017). O curso "Prática de línguas estrangeiras (inglês)" está localizado na plataforma edu.kpfu.ru. É dada atenção especial à implementação de uma abordagem comunicativa ao ensinar a falar, considerando a trajetória educacional individual do aluno ou do grupo de estudo. Além disso, a pesquisa dá o essencial da análise teórica e os resultados dos testes experimentais das abordagens de ensino oral, a eficácia dos métodos usados na formação das habilidades de fala dos estudantes. Assim, poderíamos afirmar que ao ensinar a fala no ambiente educacional de E-learning, é necessário conduzir etapas preparatórias na forma de estudo e treinamento de novo vocabulário on-line, o que leva à possibilidade de dar mais tempo às formas de trabalho em grupo durante as aulas presenciais. O trabalho de base e a análise do material factual selecionado indicam que, o ensino da fala pode ser efetivamente realizado on-line, se determinados requisitos forem atendidos, tais como o uso de uma abordagem comunicativa, a organização adequada do trabalho individual e em grupo, alta autodisciplina e motivação do aluno e do professor. O uso do ambiente educacional E-learning pode melhorar a qualidade do treinamento da fala na instituição de ensino superior

ACTUALISATION OF EMOTIONAL MODIFICATION
The present article focuses on questions connected with the emphasizing and description of the semantic plan of a sentence/utterance in the situational aspect. The situa-tion is considered to be the fragment of the reality re-flected in the consciousness and the typical structure of a linguistic content. The authors think that actualization of different aspects of a situation has the systematic character. The realization of emotional component of an utterance is in the center of attention. Traditionally into-nation, interjection, emotive sentences are related to the system of means of expression of emotional aspects. In the article the role of causative verb is searched on the example of the category of causativeness in the sphere of emotional modification. In the authors’ opinions the causativeness is an interpersonal cooperation as a re-sult of which we can observe the modification of different spheres of anthroponymic character: physical, percep-tive, psychic and informative sphere. One of the leading means of actualization of the semantics of causativeness in the German and English languages is a lexical causa-tive. Emotional and modifying verbs belong to mental verbs and contain the meaning of modification of psychic state in their semantic potential. Causatives which actual-ize positive emotional, negative emotional tone and axiologically neutral state are underlined
The impact of Edtech: strengths and opportunities
The introduction of advanced digital technologies and digital transformation is fundamental for the economic growth and development of companies, states and society. Today, the traditional model of education is also undergoing changes as a result of the introduction of new digital technologies, digital methods and approaches to learning. The relevance of this study is due to the fact that digital transformation in the field of education is the most prominent example of qualitative transformation of life activities. The outcome of this digital transformation is the formation of a new sector of the digital economy called EdTech (Education Technology). The purpose of this study is to analyse the global EdTech market and to examine its strengths and development prospects. Research methods: theoretical approach, analysis, study of scientific literature, specification of conclusions, method of thinking, and visual interpretation of the results obtained. As part of this research, the authors have defined EdTech; examined the application of digital technologies in EdTech, and studied the impact of digital technologies on the development of EdTech. The authors also investigated the dynamics of venture capital investment in EdTech; researched EdTech leaders and identified key EdTech sectors
Desemantization of Functional Grammatical Causatives in the Aspect of Grammaticalization
Formation of competitive AIC in conditions of mining region sustainable development (on the example of Kuzbass)
This article considers the particular features of the development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) in the conditions of mining regions. The Kuzbass (Kemerovo region) has been chosen as the object of analysis. A conceptual approach to the food security of the industrial region is presented, in the framework of which the main goals and objectives, principles and directions of development of the agricultural sector of industrial regions are shown. The article systematizes the results of previous studies of the authors related to the conditions and development factors of the AIC of the Kemerovo region. It has been established that the Kemerovo region as an industrial region is characterized by specific features of the AIC development which have evolved under the influence of climate, the available natural resources and the results of local economic activity. The current state of the Kuzbass agro-industry suggests that the region cannot ensure high competitiveness in the main types of agricultural products and their processed products. In the current economic conditions, introduction of deep processing of agricultural products on an innovative basis, production of functional products, integration and cooperation of producers, and improvement of production technologies may become the promising areas for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Kemerovo region. The development of these areas will make it possible to produce agricultural products and food products with higher added value, and therefore, to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector in the region.</jats:p
An Outbreak of Newcastle Disease Virus in the Moscow Region in the Summer of 2022
In August 2022 on a backyard farm in the Moscow region of Russia, mortality was observed among chickens, and all 45 birds of a particular farm died or were slaughtered after the onset of symptoms within a few days. Paramyxovirus was isolated from the diseased birds. Based on the nucleotide sequences of the F and NP gene fragments, it was determined that the virus belonged to subgenotype VII.1 AAvV-1 class II. The cleavage site of the F gene 109SGGRRQKRFIG119 and T in 546 and 555 position of the NP gene were typical for the velogenic type. The genetically closest NDV isolates were found in Iran. The mean time of death of 10-day-old chicken embryos upon infection with the minimal infectious dose was 52 h, which is typical for the velogenic pathotype. The virus caused 100% death of six-week-old chickens during oral infection as well as 100% mortality of all contact chickens, including those located in remote cages, which proves the ability of the virus to spread not only by the fecal–oral route but also by the aerosol route. That demonstrates a high level of pathogenicity and contagiousness of the isolated strain for chicken. However, mice intranasally infected with high doses of the virus did not die
