    Google Classroom for Learning Writing : Students’ Initial Perceptions

    This study is aimed to explore student’s initial perceptions of the application of Google Classroom to learning writing at seventh grade students. The design of this study is a survey. The researcher used a questionnaire adapted from the theoretical foundation of UTAUT2 (Unified Theory of Acceptance of Technology) to collect the data. Before conducting the research, the researcher did a preliminary study to choose the subject of the study and select 54 students from different classes that is VII-A and VII-B. The data gathered from an online questionnaire by using Google Form. The result of this study with quantitative data showed that Seventh Grade Students had a good (high) perception toward all statements of the questionnaire. Most of the student’s initial perceptions of Google Classroom application for learning writing in this study is an indicator of Performance Expectancy. It shows that (1) students find Google Classroom useful for learning English online especially writing. (2) students find Google Classroom useful which allows them to do assignment quickly. (3) using Google Classroom, students will increase their chance of learning English online for writing. The researcher recommends that this research offers several implications for the adaptation of Google Classroom in learning writing. The students’ initial perception, as evidence of students’ behavioural intentions in learning writing through learning platform and it gives beliefs to teachers in applying learning innovations refers to the usefulness of the learning platform as well as the most influential factors during implementation

    Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) Untuk mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar terhadap program “Hitam Putih” di Trans7; (2) Untuk mengetahui pola menonton program “Hitam Putih” di Trans7 bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar; (3) Untuk mengetahui motif yang mendorong mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar menonton program “Hitam Putih” di Trans7. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan teori uses and gratification. Penelitian dilakukan di Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddi Makassar. Penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian inii menggunakan metode survei terhadap 60 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar yang dipilih secara proporsional sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menonton program “Hitam Putih” di Trans7 mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dalam mencari informasi dan hiburan. Frekuensi menonton mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makasar terhadap program “Hitam Putih” di Trans7 tergolong tinggi karena mememiliki durasi siaran yang cukup lama serta jam tayang yang terjadwal. Motif mahasiswa Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Alauddin Makassar mengkonsumsi program “Hitam Putih” di Trans7 terutama untuk mencari informasi, identitas pribadi, interaksi dan interaksi sosial, dan hiburan

    Analisis Koreografi Tari Setabek Di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan

    Penelitian ini menganalisis koreografi tari Setabek di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan. Tari Setabek merupakan tari penyambutan tamu yang menjadi ciri khas dari Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan. Tari ini ditarikan oleh 10 orang penari yang terdiri dari 1 orang penari utama (pembawa tepak), 2 orang penari dayang penabur bunga, 4 orang penari pengiring, 2 orang pembawa tombak (laki-laki), dan 1 orang pembawa payung (laki-laki). Secara terminologi kata Setabik berasal dari bahasa Melayu, yaitu tabik yang berarti hormat atau memberi penghormatan. Dikarenakan mayoritas suku di Kota Sekayu yaitu berasal dari suku Musi dengan ragam dialek “e” maka penyebutan tarian ini menjadi tari Setabek, dan bukan Setabik. Untuk menganalisis, dipakai pendekatan koreografi. Analisis pendekatan koreografi meliputi aspek bentuk, teknik, dan isi serta aspek tenaga, ruang dan waktu. Ketiga konsep tersebut merupakan satu kesatuan yang utuh. Pemahaman analisis koreografi terdiri dari prinsip-prinsip kebentukan yang meliputi kebentukan, variasi, repetisi, transisi, rangkaian, dan klimaks. Struktur tari Setabek terdiri dari 3 bagian berdasarkan pola iringan, pola gerak, dan pola lantai, yaitu Jebo Maro (pembuka), Bedundai (inti), dan Karang Buri (penutup). Secara koreografis dapat disimpulkan bahwa ragam gerak yang spesifik pada tari Setabek adalah motif tabek dan motif lambaian, karena motif tersebut sering muncul atau dilakukan berulang kali dan juga sebagai motif penghubung antara gerakan yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Dari analisis struktur, tari Setabek memiliki 6 kalimat gerak dan 18 frase. Jumlah keseluruhan motif yang ada pada tari Setabek yaitu 128 motif yang terdiri atas 11 jenis motif dari 123 jumlah motif putri dan 5 jenis motif dari 5 jumlah motif laki-laki dengan 10 pola lantai yang digunakan. Dari struktur ini terlihat secara kebentukan bahwa tari Setabek merupakan tari yang bertemakan penyambutan tamu yang bisa dilihat dari gerakannya yang mencirikan penghormatan. Secara teknik gerak-gerak dalam tari Setabek ini memiliki kecendrungan bergerak sejajar dengan torso dan gerakan yang dilakukan juga tidak terlalu luas atau lebar, kebanyakan gerak yang dilakukan bergerak secara lemah lembut dan mengayun, serta hal tersebut juga didukung dengan musiknya yang sangat lembut dan mengalir. Secara isi tari Setabek merealisasikan nilai-nilai yang ada dalam masyarakat Musi Banyuasin, hal tersebut terlihat dari segi kostum, properti, dan lain-lain. Secara isi tari Setabek merealisasikan nilai-nilai yang ada dalam masyarakat Musi Banyuasin, hal tersebut terlihat dari segi kostum, properti, dan lain-lain.ABSTRACTThis study analyzes the choreography of the Setabek dance in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. Setabek dance is a welcoming dance that is characteristic of Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. This dance is danced by 10 dancers consisting of 1 main dancer (slap bearer), 2 flower-sowing dayang dancers, 4 accompaniment dancers, 2 spear bearers (male), and 1 umbrella carrier (male). To analyze, used a choreographic approach. The analysis of the choreographic approach includes aspects of form, technique, and content as well as aspects of energy, space and time. The three concepts are a unified whole. The understanding of choreographic analysis consists of the principles of formation which include formation, variation, repetition, transition, sequence, and climax. The structure of the Setabek dance consists of 3 parts based on the accompaniment pattern, movement pattern, and floor pattern, namely Jebo Maro (opener), Bedundai (core), and Karang Buri (cover). Choreographically, it can be concluded that the specific range of motion in the Setabek dance is the tabek motif and the waving motif, because these motifs often appear or are performed repeatedly and also serve as a connecting motif between one movement and another. From the structural analysis, the Setabek dance has 6 sentences of movement and 18 phrases. The total number of motifs in the Setabek dance is 128 motifs consisting of 11 types of motifs from 123 female motifs and 5 types of motifs from 5 male motifs with 10 floor patterns used. From this structure, it can be seen from the form that the Setabek dance is a dance with the theme of welcoming guests which can be seen from its movements that characterize respect. Technically the movements in this Setabek dance have a tendency to move parallel to the torso and the movements performed are also not too broad or wide, most of the movements performed are gentle and swaying, and this is also supported by the music which is very soft and flowing. The content of the Setabek dance realizes the values that exist in the Musi Banyuasin community, this can be seen in terms of costumes, properties, and others

    Natural fruit acids are fruits that taste sour containing organic acids, one of which is citric acid, examples of natural fruit acids are tamarind, lime, lemon, pineapple. Natural fruit acids can be used as an ingredient for soaking food derived from fishery products to get rid of the fishy smell and give the people a flavor of cooking. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of immersion of natural fruit acids on the reduction of lead (Pb) levels in Vanamae shrimp, to determine which immersion variations had the most effect on reducing lead levels in Vanamae shrimp. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized block design (RAKL). The experiment was carried out with 5 treatments, namely Control (200 grams of shrimp without immersion), Treatment 1 (200 grams of shrimp + 25ml filtrate), Treatment 2 (200 grams of shrimp + 25ml of lime), Treatment 3 (200 grams of shrimp + 25ml filtrate lemon), and treatment 4 (200 grams of shrimp + 25 ml filtrate), each treatment was given 4 times each. Based on the analysis of the anava test, the results obtained Fhit> Fdaf, It was concluded that there was an effect of immersion in natural fruit acids on reducing the levels of lead (Pb) in Vaname shrimp meat, soaking with lime acid was the most significant to reduce the levels of lead metal Pb

    Organic fertilizer production with the use of coconut fiber to improve the quality of organic fertilizer has been done. This study aims to determine the increase in the quality of organic fertilizer pulp by utilizing coconut fibers in increasing the porosity of raw materials. Utilizing combination EM4 bioindicator and Starbio bioindicator to improve the process of decomposition of organic matter are applied in this research. This research use experiment method by comparing the quality of the fertilizer from tofu dregs only with the quality of the fertilizer tofu dregs that is adding by massa variations of coconut fibers. Bioindikator combination of EM4 and starbio also studied in this research. The result of this research showed that by using 7.5 grams of coconut fibers can increase the organic matter decomposition process. Combination of EM4 bioindicator and Stabio bioindicator also can increase decomposition process so the percentage of organic material in the organic fertilizer are on the threshold by SNI, namely 54,72%.Kata Kunci: ampas tahu, fermentasi, pupuk, serabut kelap

    Catfish pond water waste has the potential value to produce fertilizer with innovations in its treatment, converting waste into liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) that can be used by the community as the fertilizer of plants. The aims of this study were 1) To find out which pumakkal formula variation affected the levels of N, P, K in catfish pond wastewater, 2) To find out which pumakkal formula had the best effect on N, P, K levels in catfish pond wastewater, 3) To determine to find out the results of research in the form of LKPD suitable for use as biology teaching materials. This study uses an experimental research design. This study used 1 control and 5 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment 1 used 3 isolates, treatment 2 used 6 isolates, treatment 3 used 9 isolates, treatment 4 used 12 isolates, and treatment 5 used 15 isolates. The results of the test for liquid fertilizer from catfish pond wastewater showed that P5 was the best degrading agent with yields of N (0.533%), P (3.176%), and K (3.994%). Based on the analysis of the validation of teaching materials, this research is suitable for learning biology in the form of student activity sheets with a value of 86% validation of material aspects and 86% of design aspects

    Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one type of filter feeder, which is an animal that eats particles and organic matter and living things suspended in the air, generally by passing air into the animal's filter structure. Cadmium (Cd) has toxicity (the ability of a chemical substance to cause an organism) even at low concentrations. Antioxidants are substances that can slow down or prevent the oxidation process. This substance is significantly able to slow down or inhibit the oxidation of substances that are easily oxidized even in low concentrations. The main use of antioxidants is to stop or break the chain reaction of free radicals by donating one electron to compounds that are oxidants so that the activity of these oxidant compounds can be inhibited.     Vanname shrimp (Litopenaeusvannamei) has filter feeder properties that can filter all the food contained in the sediment. Cd is a type of metal that will settle in the sediment. Cd can accumulate in the shrimp body and endanger human health if consumed. The objectives of study were 1) to determine the effect of immersion of fruits on the reduction of Cd levels, 2) to determine which types of fruits were more appropriate to reduce Cd levels in Vanname Shrimp in remote and intensive ponds. near mangroves and 3) to make posters as learning media for class X high school on environmental pollution. The research was conducted using the CRBD method (completely randomized block design) and analyzed with a one-way anova test to determine the effect of fruits on the reduction of Cd levels. The research was conducted in April 2020 in Pasir Sakti, East Lampung and analyzed at the Chemical Analytical Laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of Malang. The results showed that soaking vanname shrimp using fruits had the effect of reducing Cd levels in shrimp meat. The type of fruits that gave the best reduction effect was Citrus aurantiifolia which was able to reduce the Cd to 270.87 ppb or  decreased by 46.28% for intensive pond shrimp near mangroves, and able to reduce the Cd to 521.4 ppb or decreased by 44.62% for intensive mangroves distant pond. This research produces learning resources in the form of posters that are suitable for use in class X high school biology learning environmental pollution material
