Kreowanie wizerunku pracodawcy z wyboru (employer of choice) przez Leroy Merlin
Prezentowana publikacja „Wybrane problemy zarządzania i finansów - studia przypadków” zawiera 14 studiów przypadku (case study) z zarządzania i finansów.
Kolejne dotyczą zarządzania i rachunkowości w przedsiębiorstwie.
Manipulacja i perswazja w reklamie skierowanej do dzieci i młodzieży
W publikacji analizie poddano zjawiska manipulacji i perswazji w reklamie skierowanej do dzieci i młodzieży. Zjawiska manipulacji i perswazji w reklamie odniesiono do dwóch grup konsumentów – dzieci i młodzieży.
Postoperative Wound Complications in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Treatment and prevention methods
Introduction and purpose: Postoperative wound complications are a significant concern in obstetrics and gynecology, particularly with the increasing cesarean section rates globally. This study aims to analyze and evaluate current prevention and treatment methods for postoperative wound complications, focusing on cesarean sections, while identifying innovative approaches and knowledge gaps to inspire further research. Description of the State of Knowledge: The most frequent complications—SSI, wound dehiscence, and fistula formation—are exacerbated in high-risk groups, such as patients with diabetes, obesity, hypertension, or those undergoing emergency cesarean sections. While surgical advancements and new wound care materials offer potential solutions, discrepancies in their efficacy, particularly for high-risk populations, remain unresolved. Techniques such as continuous suturing and mass closure reduce hernia risks, while innovative interventions, including Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and active dressings (hydrogel, hydrocolloid, alginate), show promise in promoting healing and minimizing complications. Materials and Methods: This study involved a comprehensive literature review of databases such as PubMed, Medline, and Cochrane, focusing on surgical techniques, wound healing mechanisms, and advanced dressing technologies. Results: Findings underscore the value of continuous suturing and mass closure techniques in reducing postoperative hernias and other complications. Innovative methods, including NPWT and active dressings, demonstrate potential in improving healing outcomes for high-risk patients. Summary: Optimizing surgical techniques and postoperative wound care protocols is essential for reducing complications. Further research is needed to standardize guidelines and assess innovative wound management strategies, particularly in obstetrics and gynecology
Unsteady ground: understanding the problem of BPPV in the world of sports
Introduction: Dizzyness and Vertigo are one of the most common symptoms presented by patients, often the symptoms are caused by BPPV. BPPV may by provoked by certain types of impacts, head motion and other various factors including sport practice. In modern world, sport has become a part of everyday life, both in professional in amateur matter. Different sports, may lead to different types of injuries and related complications, one of them is dizzyness and vertigo. We investigated the existing data about the prevalence of BPPV related to certain types of physical activity. Different sports vary in the movement profile, amount and frequency of impacts. Furthermore, the injuries resulting from physical activity are not always associated with direct hits. Presenting all at once: the data, diagnostic and treatement strategy, we resume the existing knowledge on the phenomenon of BPPV in physical activity.Purpose of work: The article was completed to analyze the available data on the prevalence of BPPV in sports practitioners. This aims to facilitate the prompt resolution of vertigo symptoms in affected individuals and to identify potential, less obvious risk factors that may predispose athletes to this condition.State of Knowledge: Even though the knowledge about the etiology and risk factors of BPPV has significantly advanced in the last decade, more than half of all cases is are still classified as idiopathic. While data on possible new risk factors is growing, it often consists of case reports or orginal studies with small sample sizes, limiting its generalizability. It is widely believed though that certain types of movement may play a role in triggering BPPV.Material and methods: This article is based on a comprehensive review of the literature, conducted using PubMed and Google Scholar. The research focused on studies concerning the prevalence, etiology and risk factors of BPPV, particularly in sports practitioners
Omega-3 Acid and Their impact in Health, review of Existing Knowledge
Introduction and objective
Omega-3 fatty acids are associated with a range of beneficial physiological properties, such as anti-inflammatory, lipid-lowering, antiarrhythmic, and antithrombotic effects. The potential health benefits have been the subject of ongoing research. Particularly concerning cardiovascular health, inflammation, diabetes, and obesity. This summary synthesizes the current state of knowledge regarding these effects.
Review methods
A literature review was performed using the PubMed database to assess the effects of omega-3 fatty acids. The primary search term used was "omega-3 fatty acids," and the review focused on the most recent scientific studies examining their impact on the body.
Description of the state of knowledge
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients crucial for various bodily functions, particularly in cardiovascular and neurological health. The three main types of omega-3s relevant to human health are alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). While ALA is primarily found in plant sources, EPA and DHA are predominantly sourced from marine life.
Conclusions
The analysis of the review article demonstrates that omega-3 fatty acids present promising benefits. Omega-3s significantly reduce triglyceride levels, they help lower blood pressure by promoting vasodilation and reducing vascular resistance, they are essential for maintaining eye health and may help prevent age-related macular degeneration
Laryngopharyngeal reflux in the light of current medical knowledge – a literature review
Introduction and aim of the work: Laryngopharyngeal reflux often occurs in daily otolaryngological clinical practice. Diagnostics and treatment of this disease are complex for clinicians. Proton pump inhibitors cause many adverse effects, so alternative therapeutic methods are required. This study aims to submit current medical knowledge about laryngopharyngeal reflux, including possible treatment options.
Materials and methods: The literature review of medical articles published between 2014 and 2024 was performed. These papers were accessed from the PubMed and Springer Nature Link databases. To find relevant articles, the following keywords were used: “laryngopharyngeal reflux”, “reflux laryngitis”, “proton pump inhibitors”, and “baclofen side effects”.
State of knowledge: Symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux can result in reduced quality of life. Laryngopharyngeal symptoms are not that specific. Patients often search for a reason for their complaints at different specialists. Treatment of this disease is usually based on the trial-and-error method and observing patients’ responses.
Summary: The accurate incidence of laryngopharyngeal reflux is not known. Various factors influence the occurrence of this disease. There are disparate opinions about using 24-hour pH monitoring as a gold standard; thus, other methods are sought. Proton pump inhibitors are the most common drugs used in the therapy, but their effectiveness is doubtful. More research should be done on the different methods of laryngopharyngeal reflux treatment. Pepsin inhibitors seem like an auspicious alternative, but there are too few studies on this subject

Nutrition and Physical Therapy in the Prevention and Treatment of Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disease which the benign growth of functioning endometrial glands and stroma in ectopic locations, i.e. outside the uterine cavity. In the 60s of the twentieth century, endometriosis had become the main cause of surgery in women. Sick women suffering from this condition often have non-specific symptoms, such as pelvic pain and are often associated with the menstrual cycle. can lead to reduced mental, physical, and social well-being and a lower quality of life. There are many factors that predispose to the onset and course of the disease. Some of them are physical activity and diet. There is a lack of high-quality, robust, randomized studies. However, available studies show that diet and physical activity reduce inflammation that occurs in endometriosis. They have a positive effect on markers of oxidative stress. The purpose of this review is to provide knowledge about the symptoms, effects of nutrition and physical activity in the prevention and treatment of endometriosis
