    DIAGNOSTIC CLARIFICATION: UNDIFFERENTIATED SCHIZOPHRENIA, CONTINUOUS COURSE: Apparently well prior to four years, when he returned from Singapore because he could not cope with the job there. At home he exhibited disorganized behavior like wandering about places, assaulting wife without provocation or explanation, and appearing preoccupied. He did not initiate conversation with people and did not want to work. His sleep was disturbed on most days when not on medication. PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT: SCHIZOTYPAL PERSONALITY Mr.P.R has been married for the last 9yrs; however he is unable to have satisfying emotional and sexual relationship with his spouse. The wife describes him as person who likes to be alone, lacks in emotion and avoids sexual contact. She feels that he has odd behaviors like muttering to self and being socially withdrawn not initiating social contact with people. There are no clear symptoms of schizophrenia. He has been functioning well in his occupation. There is no history of any sleep disturbance. DIAGNOSTIC CLARIFICATION: SEVERE DEPRESSION WITHOUT PSYCHOSIS: Apparently well prior to 7 years, since then has repetitive, intrusive irrational thoughts that his body is emaciated and wasted. He would constantly look into the mirror each time he had this thoughts. He also had obsessive rumination about cricket, about how the shot could be played in different ways. Over the last 7years there has been marked decline in his scholastic performance with deterioration in self-care and episodes of assault behavior. BODERLINE MENTAL RETARDATION: Ms. S.B has had difficulty with academics since the beginning of schooling. She also had history of not persisting with tasks and needing constant supervision and prodding to complete tasks. For the last two years since the birth of her younger brother she has been noticed to be more irritable and adamant for minor problems. She is also slow to walk and takes longer to do simple tasks. There was no history of lack of social reciprocity and pronominal reversal. She continued to play with children much smaller than her age in spite her growing up. He had no sleep disturbances. No history to suggest psychosis. There was no history of seizures, loss of consciousness or altered sensorium. NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT: DEMENTIA: Patient was apparently well up till 5 years back. He had been working as a police officer. Since the last 5years he had been noticed to be irritable with frequent angry outbursts. He would be very emotional and cried when speaking of subjects of spiritualism. His wife identified that he would frequently lose his belongings when he came home from duty, for the last 3years. For the last one and half year he was not able to do simple calculations while shopping and would forget the way about home. His handwriting has been gradually deteriorating over the last one year, almost illegible for the last 6months.In the last 4months he has been incontinence in urination and passing stools in inappropriate places. His sleep has been disturbed for the last 2 years

    An efficient data masking for securing medical data using DNA encoding and chaotic system

    Data security is utmost important for ubiquitous computing of medical/diagnostic data or images. Along with must consider preserving privacy of patients. Recently, deoxyribose nucleic acid (DNA) sequences and chaotic sequence are jointly used for building efficient data masking model. However, the state-of-art model are not robust against noise and cropping attack (CA). Since in existing model most digits of each pixel are not altered. This work present efficient data masking (EDM) method using chaos and DNA based encryption method for securing health care data. For overcoming research challenges effective bit scrambling method is required. Firstly, this work present an efficient bit scrambling using logistic sine map and pseudorandom sequence using chaotic system. Then, DNA substitution is performed among them to resist against differential attack (DA), statistical attack (SA) and CA. Experiment are conducted on standard considering diverse images. The outcome achieved shows proposed model efficient when compared to existing models

    Stable and Metastable vortex states and the first order transition across the peak effect region in weakly pinned 2H-NbSe_2

    The peak effect in weakly pinned superconductors is accompanied by metastable vortex states. Each metastable vortex configuration is characterized by a different critical current density J_c, which mainly depends on the past thermomagnetic history of the superconductor. A recent model [G. Ravikumar, et al, Phys. Rev. B 61, R6479 (2000)] proposed to explain the history dependent J_c postulates a stable state of vortex lattice with a critical current density J_c^{st}, determined uniquely by the field and temperature. In this paper, we present evidence for the existence of the stable state of the vortex lattice in the peak effect region of 2H-NbSe_2. It is shown that this stable state can be reached from any metastable vortex state by cycling the applied field by a small amplitude. The minor magnetization loops obtained by repeated field cycling allow us to determine the pinning and "equilibrium" properties of the stable state of the vortex lattice at a given field and temperature unambiguously. The data imply the occurence of a first order phase transition from an ordered phase to a disordered vortex phase across the peak effect.Comment: 20 pages, 10 figures. Corresponding author: S.     Critical points in the Bragg glass phase of a weakly pinned crystal of Ca3_3Rh4_4Sn13_{13}

    New experimental data are presented on the scan rate dependence of the magnetization hysteresis width ΔM(H)\Delta M(H) (\propto critical current density Jc(H)J_c(H)) in isothermal MHM-H scans in a weakly pinned single crystal of Ca3_3Rh4_4Sn13_{13}, which displays second magnetization peak (SMP) anomaly as distinct from the peak effect (PE). We observe an interesting modulation in the field dependence of a parameter which purports to measure the dynamical annealing of the disordered bundles of vortices injected through the sample edges towards the destined equilibrium vortex state at a given HH. These data, in conjunction with the earlier observations made while studying the thermomagnetic history dependence in Jc(H)J_c(H) in the tracing of the minor hysteresis loops, imply that the partially disordered state heals towards the more ordered state between the peak field of the SMP anomaly and the onset field of the PE. The vortex phase diagram in the given crystal of Ca3_3Rh4_4Sn13_{13} has been updated in the context of the notion of the phase coexistence of the ordered and disordered regions between the onset field of the SMP anomaly and the spinodal line located just prior to the irreversibility line. A multi-critical point and a critical point in the (H,TH,T) region of the Bragg glass phase have been marked in this phase diagram and the observed behaviour is discussed in the light of recent data on multi-critical point in the vortex phase diagram in a single crystal of Nb.Comment: To appear in Current trends in Vortex State Studies - Pramana J. Vaginal evisceration in premenopausal women after trans-abdominal hysterectomy is extremely rare in occurrence and only few cases have been documented in worldwide literature. Here we report a premenopausal woman with coitus induced trans-vaginal evisceration who had undergone trans-abdominal hysterectomy two years ago

    Observations were recorded on traits associated with mite infestation related at two stages of button on six different coconut cultivars over three years. Highly significant correlation was found between mite damage score with color or weight of tepal. Step-wise multiple regression of the data analysis showed color of inner tepal as major trait associated with infestation by eriophyid mite. Other traits are ratio of tepal weight to tepal area, per cent of buttons with pink discoloration or with resin, tepals of regular aestivation and gap between fruit and tepal. Digital phenotype data of 83 image files were used to calculate color signature and correlated the same to mite damage score over three years. Red spectral values were found to vary from 14 to 251, green values to 12 to 237 and blue to vary from 5 to 183. Spectral values red max, green max, 3* Red + Green max had high significant negative correlation (>-0.4) with mite damage. Color and firmness of fruits and tepals of three coconut varieties were further analyzed where, fruits and tepals of COD variety showed high red/green (a* value of Hunterlab) >12. Firmness of 3 month old tepal and fruit of Benualim (BGRT) tall variety was (penetrometer reading >38) higher than other varieties
