This article may be used for non-commercial purposes in accordance with Wiley Terms and Conditions for Use of Self-Archived VersionA nonporous laminar coordination polymer of formula [Cu2I2(2-aminopyrazine)]n is prepared by direct reaction between CuI and 2-aminopyrazine, two industrially available building blocks. The fine tuning of the reaction conditions allows obtaining [Cu2I2(2-aminopyrazine)]n in micrometric and nanometric sizes with same structure and composition. Interestingly, both materials show similar reversible thermo- and pressure-luminescent response as well as reversible electrical response to volatile organic solvents such as acetic acid. X-ray diffraction studies under different conditions, temperatures and pressures, in combination with theoretical calculations allow rationalizing the physical properties of this compound and its changes under physical stimuli. Thus, the emission dramatically increases when lowering the temperature, while an enhancement of the pressure produces a decrease in the emission intensity. These observations emerge as a direct consequence of the high structural flexibility of the Cu2I2 chains which undergo a contraction in Cu-Cu distances as far as temperature decreases or pressure increases. However, the strong structural changes observed under high pressure lead to an unexpected effect that produces a less effective Cu-Cu orbital overlapping that justifies the decrease in the intensity emission. Análisis de la aplicación de inteligencia artificial y automatización en el área logística durante la etapa de transporte y distribución en las camaroneras del Ecuador.

En la industria camaronera ecuatoriana la implementación de nuevas tecnologías enfocadas a la automatización y uso de la inteligencia artificial en el área de la logística y transporte del camarón a los puertos es un área nueva que está emergiendo por lo que resulta necesario conocer el impacto que tiene su uso. Siendo así se requiere de un estudio exploratorio de índole cualitativo puesto que se sigue teorizando entorno al desarrollo de los usos que se le pueden dar y su integración en los procesos ya establecidos. Existen diversos aspectos que se deben tomar en cuenta siendo este un problema multifactorial en donde inciden tanto el factor económico en cuanto a la inversión privada, tanto nacional como extranjera y la pública para que su aplicación pueda generalizarse. Sin embargo, actualmente su uso sigue estando dentro de un nicho limitado en donde aún no resulta viable reemplazar la mano de obra humana por estas tecnologías sin que esto represente una negativa a su futuro uso.In the Ecuadorian shrimp industry, the implementation of new technologies focused on automation and the utilization of artificial intelligence in the logistics and transportation of shrimp to ports is an emerging area. Therefore, it is essential to understand the impact of their implementation. Given this context, an exploratory qualitative study is necessary, as ongoing theorizing surrounds the potential applications and integration of these technologies into the existing processes. Several aspects must be considered, as this is a multifactorial problem where economic factors, including private investments both domestically and from foreign sources, along with public factors, play a role in determining the feasibility of widespread adoption. Currently, these technologies are confined to a limited niche. Their ability to replace human labor without negative consequences for future utilization is still unfeasible

Desarrollo de una aplicación de gestión de álbumes de cromos de fútbol

Este trabajo consiste en un álbum de cromos virtual de la liga española de fútbol. Brinda al usuario la posibilidad de coleccionar todos los cromos de la competición. Además de esta funcionalidad básica de cualquier colección, también ofrece la posibilidad de hacer porras o responder preguntas que ayudan al usuario a obtener monedas que posteriormente podrán ser utilizadas para conseguir el objetivo final, que es completar la colección. También ofrece una funcionalidad importante e innovadora que es poder intercambiar los cromos repetidos que ya no interesan con el resto de los usuarios que tengan algún cromo repetido que también se quiera deshacer de él, para así interactuar con otros usuarios y entre todos lograr terminar la colección

Jitter Tolerance Acceleration Using the Golden Section Optimization Technique

Post-silicon validation of high-speed input/output (HSIO) links is a critical process for product qualification schedules of computer platforms under the current time-to-market (TTM) commitments. The goal of post-silicon validation for HSIO links is to confirm design robustness of both receiver (Rx) and transmitter (Tx) circuitry in a real application environment. One of the most common ways to evaluate the performance of a HSIO link is to characterize the Rx jitter tolerance (JTOL) performance by measuring the bit error rate (BER) through the link under worst stressing conditions. However, JTOL testing is very time-consuming when executing at specification BER, and the testing time is extremely increased when considering manufacturing process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) test coverage for a qualification decision. In order to speed up this process, we propose a new approach for JTOL testing based on the golden section algorithm. The proposed method takes advantage of the fast execution of the golden section search with a high BER, while overcoming the lack of correlation between different BERs by performing a downward linear search at the actual target BER until no errors are seen. Our proposed methodology is validated by implementing it in a server HSIO link

EL EDUCANDO Y LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE LOS CONOCIMIENTOS MEDIADOS POR LOS DOCENTES

This research work analyses the constructivist educational processes currently implemented and the role of the educator and his or her educational link with the learner. The research method was qualitative in nature. The study design was bibliographic. Theoretical analyses were provided to establish the role of the teacher as a constructor and guide of new knowledge in contemporary times. Among the results and conclusions, it is established that teacher training in the 21st century, to some extent, goes beyond a purely constructivist criterion, since it is essential to assume new precepts that unify the possibilities of a better performance in education.Este trabalho de pesquisa analisa os processos educativos construtivistos atualmente implementados e o papel do educador e seu vínculo educacional com o aluno. O método de pesquisa foi qualitativo por natureza. O desenho do estudo foi bibliográfico. Foram fornecidas análises teóricas para estabelecer o papel do professor como construtor e guia de novos conhecimentos nos tempos contemporâneos. Entre os resultados e conclusões está estabelecido que a formação de professores do século XXI, em certa medida, vai além de um critério puramente construtivista, uma vez que é essencial assumir novos preceitos que unificam as possibilidades de um melhor desempenho na educação.Este trabajo de investigación analiza los procesos educativos constructivistas implementados actualmente y el rol del educador y su vínculo educativo con el educando. El método de investigación fue de índole cualitativo. El diseño de estudio fue de tipo bibliográfico. Se brindaron análisis teóricos para establecer cuál es el rol del docente como constructor y guía de nuevos conocimientos en tiempos contemporáneos. Entre los resultados y conclusiones se establece que la formación de docentes del siglo XXI, en alguna medida que va más allá de un criterio puramente constructivista, ya que es indispensable asumir nuevos preceptos que unifiquen las posibilidades de un mejor desempeño en la educación

A Primer on Resonances in Quantum Mechanics

After a pedagogical introduction to the concept of resonance in classical and quantum mechanics, some interesting applications are discussed. The subject includes resonances occurring as one of the effects of radiative reaction, the resonances involved in the refraction of electromagnetic waves by a medium with a complex refractive index, and quantum decaying systems described in terms of resonant states of the energy. Automatización y monitorización de una instalación de ensayo de motores

[Resumen] El objetivo del presente artículo es el de presentar la automatización y monitorizado (local y remoto) de las instalaciones (facilites) de un edificio de celdas de ensayo para probar motores de tractor en Turquía. El edificio de celdas de ensayo tiene la peculiaridad de haber sido prefabricado en contendedores en Austria y trasladado hasta su ubicación final. Las tareas aquí presentadas describen los diferentes componentes del sistema de control (PLC’s), los interface hombre máquina (HMI’s), los medios para acceso remoto, y las comunicaciones entre dispositivos. Diseño de textos digitales accesibles para estudiantes con discapacidad visual

El presente artículo muestra una propuesta de un diseño de textos digitales accesibles para estudiantes con discapacidad visual de la Unidad de Educación Especial Claudio Neira Garzón en Ecuador. Así mismo, se realiza una revisión teórica en torno a la educación inclusiva, acerca de la discapacidad visual y textos digitales accesibles, considerando las necesidades educativas de los estudiantes con discapacidad visual. Se trabajó con un enfoque cualitativo, bajo un proceso de análisis de desarrollo sistémico, aplicando la metodología de la investigación acción participativa, donde se muestra una propuesta que tiene como finalidad transformar la realidad en el ámbito educativo del colectivo con esta condición. Los resultados obtenidos en la aplicación de la encuesta a los docentes la institución educativa, permitieron concluir que los mismos, carecen de los conocimientos básicos para elaborar textos digitales accesibles para estudiantes con discapacidad visual, por lo cual se elaboró una propuesta para mejorar este aspecto
