ティディム チンゴ ノ チュウドウタイ ヒョウシキ ki³- ニ カンスル オボエガキ
This paper aims to describe the morphosyntactic features and basic usages of the middle voice marker ki³- in Tiddim Chin, a northern Kuki-Chin language of the Tibeto-Burman linguistic family. In Tiddim Chin, verbs with the prefix ki³- express reflexivity, reciprocity, and other linguistic features typically found in the category of middle voice (Kemmer 1993). Based on written texts and interviews with a native speaker, this primary report seeks to elucidate the grammatical conditions wherein the prefix ki³- occurs in the narrative style (Henderson 1965) of modern Tiddim Chin.研究ノートResearch Note
ティディム チン ゴ ノ テキヨウ コウブン
学術論文Academic articlesTiddim Chin, also known as Tedim Chin( ISO 639-3: ctd), is a Tibeto-Burman language spoken primarily in the border areas of Myanmar and India. The language employs various derivational processes to increase the valence of verbs, notably the use of applicatives, which introduce an additional argument into underlying intransitive or transitive clauses. This paper examines three productive applicative markers essential to Tiddim Chin: the benefactive suffix -sak³, the comitative suffix -piʔ³, and the relinquitive suffix -san³. A systematic analysis of those markers elucidates their crucial role and morphosyntactic properties in facilitating the formation of applicative constructions in the language. With those findings, the paper contributes to clarifying Tiddim Chinʼs unique structural intricacies

This paper presents verb stem alternation in Ralte, a northern Kuki-Chin language of the Tibeto-Burman family. Most Ralte verbs have two phonologically distinct forms occurring in different types of clauses, which is a distinguishing grammatical feature of Kuki-Chin languages. In the first part of this paper, the author briefly describes some morphosyntactic features related to the verb stem alternation in Ralte, and in the latter half, he provides a list of Ralte’s basic verbs with pairs of alternate verb stems, namely,“Form I” and “Form II”. Since little has been reported or surveyed on this endangered language, this research is expected to directly contribute to the study of the Ralte language and its speakers.【研究ノート
