Struktur Komunitas Gastropoda Di Perairan Pesisir Kecamatan Genuk Kota Semarang
Gastropods have an important role in aquatic environments, especially in food and energy cycles. This aim of study determine the abundance and structure community of gastropods and physical parameters of the water, the type of substrate sediments and organic matter content in sediments that serve to optimize the utilization analysis and estimation of the abundance of gastropods conditions contained in the Genuk Coastal Waters, the city of Semarang. The method used in this research descriptive method by means of sampling stations gastropods includes 6 points. The study results for all sampling points had 260 individuals, that comprise of 10 species, namely Turricula javana, Thaislacera, Murex trapa, Bufonaria rana linnaeus, Nassarius sp, Natica tigrina, Babylonia spirata, Turritella terebra, Pseudoneptunea varicosa, and Conus sp. Sum abundance of species ranging between 0,08 to 2,37 individu/m2. Value index of diversity (H\u27) ranged from 0,000 to 2,026 in the category of low and moderate, and values of uniformity index (e) ranged from 0,000 to 1,461 are included in the high category and the dominance index (c) between 0,255 to 1 in the category of not no dominance (TAD) and no dominance (AD), and for the distribution patterns are dominated by the uniform distribution pattern from the clumped distribution patterns whereas community similarity (S) category was up to the height ranges between 44,44% - 88,89%
Protective Effect of Methylprednisolone on Contralateral Testes of Wistar Rats Under Torsion-Detortion
Background: Testicular torsion is an emergency situation and requires immediate surgery. Testicular torsion accounts for 13-54% of cases of acute pediatric scrotal disease and occurs in 1 in 4,000 men aged <25 years and 1 in 160 men over 25 years. Even though the intervention was carried out for less than 6 hours, post-detortion testicular tissue mortality was still high, due to reperfusion ischemic injury due to excessive production of ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species). The contralateral testis is often affected after torsion-detortion due to the effects of ROS. The provision of additional therapy after detortion is an urgent need to be found because it can reduce the death of testicular tissue due to reperfusion ischemic injury.
Methods: It is an experimental study with a randomized controlled study design with post test only control group design. The research sample was 18 Wistar rats divided into 3 groups. Torsion of the ipsilateral testis is performed, then detortion and intravenous therapy are administered. The apoptotic index (infertility) was observed on the Johnsen score variable, the number of seminiferous tubular cell layers, neutrophil adhesion and the number of necrotic cells in the Eosin Hematoxyline in the contralateral testis. Furthermore, statistical analysis is carried out, the results are presented in tables and figures.
Results: There was a significant difference between the Methylprednisolone group and the Torsion Detortion group with p = 0.008 in the Johnsen score variable and the number of seminiferous tubular cell layers.
Discussion: Methylprednisolone as an anti-inflammatory has been proven in its function to reduce ROS so that it can reduce reperfusion ischemic injuries.
 
Polip Fibroepithelial di Leher Kandung Kemih pada Anak : Laporan Kasus
Latar Belakang : Fibroepithelial polyps (FEP) adalah tumor jinak non-epitel yang sangat jarang yang berasal dari mesodermal di sistem perkemihan. Insidensi FEP tersering pada Dewasa muda (40%). Sebagian besar FEP ditemui di ureter distal, 15% terletak di pelvis renalis; FEP lebih jarang ditemukan di uretra, kandung kemih, dan ureter proksimal. Polip dengan fitur ini jarang ditemukan pada anak-anak. Kasus ini diharapkan dapat menjadi gambaran untuk menangani kasus FEP terutama bila predileksi di vesika urinaria.
Laporan Kasus : seorang anak umur dua tahun dengan keluhan sulit buang air kecil disertai nyeri. Pasien pernah mengeluh buang air kecil disertai darah. Dilakukan pemeriksaan ultrasonography pada lower abdomen didapatkan massa dan hidronefrosis bilateral. Pasien dilakukan cystoscopy dengan pengambilan sampel biopsi. Hasil patologi anatomi menunjukan gambaran FEP.
Diskusi :. Kasus tumor vesica urinaria primer jinak jarang ditemukan dan di antara tumor jinak vesica urinaria, polip fibroepitel dianggap sebagai lesi yang paling umum. Guideline konsensus dalam tatalaksana manajemen optimal tumor FEP masih jarang, saat ini eksisi melalui cystoscopy paling sering digunakan. Modalitas baru dengan menggunakan Laser baik Thalium maupun Holmium.
Kesimpulan : FEP merupakan penyakit yang jarang prevalensinya tetapi tetap menjadi diferensial diagnosis pada pasien anak dengan nyeri pinggang dan hematuria.prosedur endoskopik sebagai modalitas penatalaksaan pilihan utama pada pasien FEB
