    The background of this study is the lack of self-awareness of students in worship discipline. This study aims to determine the efforts of fiqh teachers in training student worship discipline at MIS Bidayatul Hidaysh 3 Medan Amplas which includes the efforts of fiqh teachers to become uswatun hasanah, providing advice, punishments and rewards, training or practice and habituation as well as to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of fiqh teachers' efforts in training worship discipline consisting of internal factors,  namely awareness, interests, motivations, and mindsets, and external factors, namely habituation, parental example, school environment, and friends. This research uses a type of field research with a qualitative approach. The subject in this study was 1 teacher of jurisprudence subjects MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Medan Amplas, while the object of this study was the efforts of fiqh teachers, supporting factors and inhibiting factors of fiqh teachers' efforts in training student worship discipline at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Medan Amplas. Data collection techniques are taken by observation, interviews and documentation. After the data is collected, it is then processed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the efforts of jurisprudence teachers in training student worship discipline in Mis Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Medan Amplas are to be uswatun hasanah or good role models for students, provide advice on the importance of worship discipline, provide punishment for students who are not disciplined and give rewards to students who are disciplined in carrying out prayers. In addition, jurisprudence teachers also continue to conduct trainings and practices by continuing to be supervised so that students are accustomed to discipline in carrying out worship

    Analysis of Maqāshid Sharī’a on Substitute Heir in Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI)

    This study analyzes the application of maqāshid sharī’a (objectives of shari'a) regarding substitute heirs as outlined in article 185 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Compilation of Islamic Laws the research aims to find out the philosophical basis of maqāshid sharī’a regarding the importance of giving inheritance to substitute heirs. This research is a normative legal research that uses a philosophical approach. Data were collected using literature techniques, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively through maqāshid sharī’a theories. This study shows that the determination of inheritance for substitute heirs in Article 185 is important to realize because it contains many maslahah (benefits) both sociologically and psychologically. The philosophical foundation of maqāshid sharī’a in inheritance for substitute heirs is not only limited to protecting assets (hifzd al-māl) but also to improving their quality of life (tanmiyah al-nasl wa al-māl). Substitute heirs are not enough just to be given assets, they also need care and affection from their extended family. Viewed from the maslahah position, giving inheritance to substitute heirs to improve their quality of life is included as maslahah dharūriyah (urgent needs)

    Legal Protection of Students Who Are Victims of Abuse of Educators in Asahan District in Terms of Law No. 35 of 2014 Concerning Child Protection

    This study examines the violence of educators against their students that occurred in the Asahan District. This case is interesting to study because educators should not perpetrate violence against their students, and students should receive guaranteed protection from such acts of violence. The focus of the problems studied is: 1) forms of legal protection provided by Law No. 35 of 2014 for students, and 2) the role of the government, school supervisors and education staff in providing legal protection for students who experience acts of abuse by educators in the school environment. This type of research is qualitative with a juridical and normative approach. This study found that the role of the Asahan District Government in efforts to prevent acts of abuse and violence against students/children both within the school environment and outside the school environment is by establishing a Child-Friendly District (LKA) as a form of concern for child growth and development and safe and comfortable life For children. Legal protection for children that has been carried out, if based on Law No. 35 of 2014, more serious efforts are needed so that the realization of the values of the law can be realized properly.Penelitian ini mengkaji kekerasan para pendidik terhadap para siswanya yang terjadi di Kabupaten Asahan. Kasus ini menarik diteliti karena kekerasan tidak seharusnya dilakukan oleh pendidik terhadap peserta didiknya, dan peserta didik seharusnya mendapat jaminan perlindungan dari tindak kekerasan tersebut. Fokus permasalahan yang dikaji adalah: 1) bentuk-bentuk perlindungan hukum yang diberikan oleh Undang-Undang No 35 Tahun 2014 bagi peserta didik, dan 2) peran pemerintah, pengawas sekolah dan tenaga kependidikan dalam memberikan perlindungan hukum bagi peserta didik yang mengalami tindak penganiayaan oleh tenaga pendidik dilingkungan sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis dan normatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peranan Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan dalam upaya pencegahan tindakan penganiayaan maupun kekerasan terhadap peserta didik/anak baik dilingkungan sekolah maupun diluar lingkungan sekolah yaitu dengan membentuk Kabupaten Layak Anak (LKA) sebagai wujud kepedulian terhadap tumbuh kembang anak dan keberlangsungan hidup yang aman dan nyaman bagi anak. Peranan Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan dalam upaya pencegahan tindakan penganiayaan maupun kekerasan terhadap peserta didik/anak baik dilingkungan sekolah maupun diluar lingkungan sekolah yaitu dengan membentuk Kabupaten Layak Anak (LKA) sebagai wujud kepedulian terhadap tumbuh kembang anak dan keberlangsungan hidup yang aman dan nyaman bagi anak. Perlindungan hukum terhadap anak yang sudah dilakukan, jika berdasarkan UU No 35 tahun 2014, perlu upaya lebih serius agar perwujudan dari nilai-nilai UU tersebut dapat terealisasikan dengan baik

    Understanding Dilalah Amr and its Implementation in the Prayer Method among Muhammadiyah, Al Washliyah, and Nahdlatul Ulama

    To understand how the scholars of the Mazhab understand Dilalah Amr, both from the Qur'an and Hadith sources, the method used in determining a command (Amr) for obligation or others in the prayer ritual, and its implementation towards the procedures of performing the prayer ritual among the Muhammadiyah, Al Washliyah, and Nahdlatul Ulama communities. This research is a normative study with a literature research method using references from relevant literature related to Amr sourced from the Qur'an and Hadith verses. The jurists (Fuqoha) in understanding Dilalah Amr use several methods, namely: (1) using Qarinah Qauliyah and Haliyah, (2) giving weight to stronger evidence to be used as Qarinah, (3) using the method of Qiyas, (4) using the actions of the people of Madinah as reference, (5) using Ijma, and (6) using the method of Naskh. In relation to the prayer procedure of Muhammadiyah, they do not recognize the terms of pillars (rukun), obligatory (wajib), and recommended (sunnah) in prayer. What is recognized is the method of performing obligatory prayer. Meanwhile, among Al-Washliyah, they still use the terminologies of the scholars of Usul Fiqh such as pillars, obligatory, and recommended in prayer.     The Reactualization of the Murder Payment of Fines (Diyah) in the Aceh Qānūn: A Sociological Perspective of the Islamic Law

    As the only province in Indonesia implementing Islamic Sharia law, Aceh has a rich historical and cultural context rooted in Islamic traditions. In the modern era, understanding how Sharia law interacts with diverse community demands is crucial. This study examines the actualization of diyah (compensation) in Aceh's Qānūn Jināyah (Crimes) using a sociological approach to Islamic law. The qualitative research method employed involves descriptive data collection. The findings reveal that the diyah law in Aceh’s Qānūn Jināyah illustrates the intricate interaction between social, cultural, legal, and religious aspects in the application and acceptance of Islamic law. Diyah serves not only as a formal legal instrument for justice but also as a reflection of the strong cultural values, religious traditions, and social norms within Acehnese society. Through sociological analysis, the study highlights how the mechanism for implementing diyah in the Qānūn Jināyah embodies the integration of Islamic law with the socio-cultural values of Acehnese society, offering insights into how Sharia law adapts to contemporary social challenges and changes
