Multi-modal Bio-metrics Evaluation for Non-destructive Age States Determination of Tomato Plants (Solanum lycopersicum)
Every plant has unique morphological features, and can be used for its characteristics identity, such as age. When the plants grow, their morphological features may change, observable visually or by optical equipment. These various morphology transformations were categorized as multi-modal Bio-metrics. In this study, tomatoes from local cultivar were grown in a net house, in west Sumatra. The growth medium comprised of soil, husk, and manures with the composition of 1: 1: 1 respectively. For best growth, plants were watered regularly, and protect from pests and weeds. The observations were performed on 21st, 42nd, and 63rd day after sowing (DAS). The samples were the leaflets of the primary compound leaves of the plants. The leaflets were cut and digitized using a high-resolution colour scanner. The imaging performed at 300 dpi resolution, and the recorded image subsequently processed by the image processing software. Image segmentation performed to remove background from the object. Furthermore, the greenish of leaf object in the image were measured in RGB colour space. The leaf dimensions and area were quantified by the software, as well as the length of the leaflet main vein at central axis. Two secondary leaflet’s blades were selected manually, and the angle formed between the blades and the main vein was measured. A Statistical engineering program was used to identify the principal morphology characteristics of the leaf, by means of Principal component analysis (PCA). Mathematical models were developed based on the principal component values and leaflets position to determine the plants age and state. Results showed all model have coefficient of correlation higher than 0.99 indicating acceptable accuracy
Towards Sustainable Green Production: Exploring Automated Grading for Oil Palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) Using Machine Vision and Spectral Analysis
Over the last decade, Indonesian palm oil industry has become a leading producer of the world, and been able to generatenotable foreign export reserves. In spite of this, problems still persist in this industry, including low productivity due to mishandling of raw material in post-harvest operations. One of the prime causes of this is manual grading/sorting of fresh fruit bunches, which is prone to error and misjudgement, as well as subjectivity. High demand of oil palm establishes its high price in world market, which drives the industry to expand its plantation area to increase production. Ultimately, it compromise forests and agricultural land, resulting stagnation or decline in several food products. Alternatively, before expanding plantation extent, oil extraction productivity of existing plantation can be improved by carefully selecting appropriate FFBs for post-harvest processing through introduction of automation. The use of machine vision and spectral analysis has shown to assist productivity of agricultural processing industry. This study employs automation technology for FFB grading in oil palm mills, resulting in improved raw material quality, thereby increasing the oil extraction productivity, and simultaneously contributing to partly release the pressure of deforestation by maintaining green agricultural areas
INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY AND SOP AS THE ACCESS CONTROL DOCUMENT OF PT. JUI SHIN INDONESIA USING ISO/IEC 27002:2013
PT. Jui Shin Indonesia as the research population is a company engaged in the ceramics, granite, and cement industry. The existence of important assets owned by the company can not be denied the threat that will occur in these important assets. The importance of a company's assets, then the company must maintain the security of assets with various efforts. The security that must be maintained in this study is the security of information related to accessing control of important assets of the company. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design policy documents and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) access control related to information security. This is done to minimize the risk that occurs in important assets of the company. The method used in this study is the OCTAVE method as a method of identification against risks that will occur in important assets of the company and the FMEA method as a method of risk analysis against the risk that has been identified through the OCTAVE method. The final result of this study is the creation of policy documents and access control SOPs related to information security which refers to the ISO/IEC 27002:2013 framework that focuses on clause 9. Access Control. Based on the results of the study, the researchers received proposals for policy document-making and SOPs as much as, namely, 17 for policy document-making and 18 for the creation of SOP documents

Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah tsanawiyah: Penelitian di MTs Al Mubarokah Desa Cibiuk Cianjur

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi awal Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al Mubarokah yang jauh dari budaya mutu, termarginalkan oleh masyarakat, mengalami masalah dengan manajemen, memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang kurang layak, jumlah siswa yang sedikit, dan kesejahteraan gurunya yang rendah. Sehingga beberapa waktu yang lalu MTs Al Mubarokah dianggap sebagai tempat pendidikan nomor dua setelah sekolah umum lainnya. Namun untuk saat ini Madrasah mulai dianggap sebagai tempat pendidikan yang utama, hal ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari peran seorang kepala madrasah dalam upayanya mengembangkan dan memimpin madrasahnya sehingga madrasah yang dipimpinnya mampu berdaya saing dengan dunia masa kini.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap perilaku komunikasi interpersonal, perilaku pengambilan keputusan, perilaku keteladanan dan perilaku pemberian reward dan punishment yang dilakukan kepala MTs Al Mubarokah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisi kualitatif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen analisis yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Ketiganya dilakukan secara intensif dengan proses pengumpulan data sebagai satu siklus.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dilakukan dengan melaksanakan pendekatan komunikasi interpersonal yang terbangun secara efektif dengan melaksanakan pembinaan rutin para guru setiap awal bulan, pemberian motivasi, musyawarah awal tahun ajaran baru, dan pemberian perhatian dengan menjenguk yang sakit atau menghadiri acara yang diadakan oleh keluarga para guru. Pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah dengan cara cepat merespons informasi baru, membantu para guru yang tidak dapat menyelesaikan permasalahannya, dan pendelegasian tugas-tugas pada orang yang tepat sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Perilaku keteladanan kepala madrasah dilaksanakan dengan baik secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung, dengan datang pagi-pagi ke madrasah, mengambil sampah yang ada dihalaman, dan memberi contoh perilaku pekerja keras dengan memanfaatkan setiap waktunya dengan kegiatan yang bermanfaat. Pemberian Reward dan punishment dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah pada guru yang telah berdisiplin atau berprestasi berupa ucapan terima kasih di depan para guru yang lain, dan pemberian punishment dilakukan apabila ada guru yang melakukan kesalahan dengan cara diberikan teguran, pemanggilan dan peringatan agar tidak melakukan kembali.

This research is motivated by the initial conditions of Al Mubarokah Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) which are far from quality culture, marginalized by the community, having problems with management, having inadequate facilities and infrastructure, a small number of students, and low teacher welfare. So some time ago MTs Al Mubarokah was considered as the number two education place after other public schools. But for now Madrasas are starting to be considered as the main place of education, this is certainly inseparable from the role of a madrasa head in his efforts to develop and lead his madrasa so that the madrasa he leads is able to compete with the world today.
The purpose of this study was to uncover interpersonal communication behavior, decision making behavior, exemplary behavior and reward and punishment behavior by the head of MTs Al Mubarokah.
This study uses qualitative research methods with a case study research approach. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is a qualitative analysis consisting of three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. All three are done intensively with the process of collecting data as one cycle.
The results showed that the leadership of the madrasa head was carried out by implementing an interpersonal communication approach that was built effectively by carrying out routine mentoring of the teachers every month, giving motivation, beginning the beginning of the new school year, and giving attention by visiting the sick or attending events held by families the teachers. Appropriate decision making is done by the madrasa head by quickly responding to new information, helping teachers who cannot solve their problems, and delegating tasks to the right people according to their abilities. The exemplary behavior of the madrasa head is carried out either directly or indirectly, by coming early to the madrasa, picking up the garbage on the page, and giving examples of hard worker behavior by utilizing each time with useful activities. Reward and punishment is given by the madrasa head to teachers who have been disciplined or accomplished in the form of gratitude in front of other teachers, and punishment is given if there are teachers who make mistakes by being given a warning, calling and warning not to do it again.

هذا البحث مدفوع بالظروف الأولية لمدرسة تسناوية المباركة التي لا تزال بعيدة عن ثقافة الجودة ، والمهمشة من قبل المجتمع ، وتواجه مشاكل في الإدارة ، وعدم كفاية المرافق والبنية التحتية ، وعدد قليل من الطلاب ، وضعف رفاهية المعلمين. منذ بعض الوقت ، كانت مدرسة المباركة تعتبر المركز التعليمي الثاني بعد المدارس الحكومية الأخرى. لكن في الوقت الحالي ، بدأت المدارس في اعتبارها المكان الرئيسي للتعليم ، وهذا بالتأكيد لا ينفصل عن دور رئيس المدرسة في جهوده لتطوير مدرسته وقيادتها حتى تصبح المدرسة التي يقودها قادرة على المنافسة مع العالم اليوم.
الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو الكشف عن سلوك التواصل الشخصي ، وسلوك صنع القرار ، والسلوك المثالي وسلوك المكافأة والعقاب من قبل رئيس المدرسة.
تستخدم هذه الدراسة طرق البحث النوعي مع منهج بحث حالة الدراسة. يتم جمع البيانات عن طريق المقابلة والملاحظة والوثائق. تحليل البيانات المستخدمة هو تحليل نوعي يتكون من ثلاثة عناصر للتحليل ، وهي تقليل البيانات ، وعرض البيانات ، واستخلاص النتائج. تتم كل ثلاثة بشكل مكثف مع عملية جمع البيانات في دورة واحدة.
أظهرت النتائج أن قيادة رئيس المدرسة تم تنفيذها من خلال تطبيق نهج التواصل بين الأشخاص الذي تم بناؤه بشكل فعال من خلال تنفيذ التوجيه الروتيني للمعلمين كل شهر ، وإعطاء الدافع ، وبدء بداية العام الدراسي الجديد ، وإيلاء الاهتمام من خلال زيارة المرضى أو حضور الأحداث التي تعقدها الأسر المعلمين. يتم اتخاذ القرارات المناسبة بواسطة رئيس المدرسة من خلال الاستجابة السريعة للمعلومات الجديدة ، ومساعدة المعلمين الذين لا يستطيعون حل مشكلاتهم ، وتفويض المهام إلى الأشخاص المناسبين وفقًا لقدراتهم. يتم تنفيذ السلوك المثالي لرئيس المدرسة إما بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر ، من خلال القدوم المبكر إلى المدرسة ، والتقاط القمامة على الصفحة ، وإعطاء أمثلة على سلوك العامل الصعب من خلال الاستفادة في كل مرة مع أنشطة مفيدة. يتم منح المكافأة والعقاب من قبل رئيس المدرسة للمدرسين الذين تم تأديبهم أو تم إنجازهم في صورة امتنان أمام المعلمين الآخرين ، ويتم تقديم العقوبة إذا كان هناك مدرسون يرتكبون أخطاء من خلال تحذيرهم ، والدعوة والتحذير بعدم القيام بذلك مرة أخرى
MANAJEMEN PESERTA DIDIK DI MADRASAH BERBASIS SISTEM PESANTREN STUDENT MANAGEMENT IN MADRASAH BASED ON PESANTREN SYSTEM
AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan manajemen peserta didik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Musri 1 Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah : kepala madrasah, wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan, staf tata usaha, dan guru. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru meliputi: pembentukan panitia, dan pelaksanaan promosi. (2) Kegiatan orientasi dilakukan agar peserta didik baru mengetahui lingkungan sekolah, keadaan madrasah, program yang dilakukan madrasah, guru-guru, organisasi dan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di madrasah, dan juga mengetahui tata tertib yang ada di MTs Al Musri 1. (3) Pembinaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan kurikuler, ko-kurikuler, dan ekstra kurikuler. Kegiatan kurikuler di MTs Al Musri 1 dikembangakan sesuai dengan kurikulum yang telah dirancang dan dikembangkan oleh pihak madrasah sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku secara nasional untuk Madrasah Tsanawiyah. (4) Pencatatan dan Pelaporan. Data perkembangan peserta didik di MTs Al Musri 1 berupa buku raport, daftar nilai peserta didik, daftar hadir, daftar mutasi, dan buku induk peserta didik. Untuk buku induk peserta didik, daftar mutasi dan drop out dipegang oleh waka kesiswaan. Sedangkan untuk buku raport, daftar nilai, dan daftar presensi dipegang oleh guru
