The Impact of Using Smart Fashion Mirrors on Perceived Customer Satisfaction in Fashion Retailing Stores
New technologies of Internet-of-Things such as smart mirrors gained a great attention from retailers in fashion industry. The aim of this study is to explore such an impact using technology acceptance model, i.e., perceived usefulness and perceived ease to use smart fashion mirrors on retailers’ intention to use such a new technology, and hence on customer satisfaction. Using a questionnaire to gather data from a sample of retailers of fashion stores, the results, which was elucidated via IBM SPSS AMOS software, indicate the retailers’ perceived usefulness and perceived ease to use have significant impact on their intention to use smart fashion mirrors, which in turn significantly impacts perceived customer satisfaction. The study provides empirical results on using smart fashion mirrors and its impact on customer satisfaction from retailers’ perspectives
Effects of Customer Loyalty Determinants in Social Media Context on Social Customer Loyalty
The aim of this study is to identify determinants of customer loyalty based on literature review and to examine the effects of these determinants on social customer loyalty. Using a questionnaire developed based on previous studies, 352 complete and valid responses collected form 500 users of social media of banks in Saudi Arabia. Four hypotheses were suggested, including four independent variables (brand equity, customer satisfaction, customer trust, customer engagement and co-production) conceptualized in terms of social media and one dependent variable (social customer loyalty). In agreement with many previous studies, all hypotheses were supported except the hypothesis that co-production via social media (social co-production) significantly affects customer loyalty experienced through social media (social customer satisfaction). In accordance with these results, banks are required to consider social media applications not only for the purpose of brand promotion and awareness, but also to constitute customer loyalty by paying more attention to determinants of customer loyalty such as those identified in this study
Wavelet Time-Scale Modeling of Brand Sales and Prices
Marketing is the way we ensure our sales are the best in the market, our prices the most accessible, and our clients satisfied, thus ensuring our brand has the widest distribution. This requires sophisticated and advanced understanding of the whole related network. Indeed, marketing data may exist in different forms such as qualitative and quantitative data. However, in the literature, it is easily noted that large bibliographies may be collected about qualitative studies, while only a few studies adopt a quantitative point of view. This is a major drawback that results in marketing science still focusing on design, although the market is strongly dependent on quantities such as money and time. Indeed, marketing data may form time series such as brand sales in specified periods, brand-related prices over specified periods, market shares, etc. The purpose of the present work is to investigate some marketing models based on time series for various brands. We will precisely study the effect of the time scale on the persistence of brand sales in the market and on the forecasting of such persistence, according to the characteristics of the brand and the related market competition or competitors. Our study is based on a sample of Saudi brands during the period 22 November 2017 to 30 December 2021
