    The Developing of Creative Thinking Skills Test Based on Modern Test Theory in Physics of Senior High Schools

    Pada umumnya tes dikembangkan berdasarkan teori tes klasik yang banyak kelemahannya, maka tes yang dikembangkan ini dilakukan berdasarkan teori tes modern (Item Rseponse Theory). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes Creative Thinking Skills fisika Kelas X SMA (PhysCreTHOTS) yang layak digunakan berdasarkan teori tes modern. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D yang melibatkan 300 peserta didik Kelas X SMA di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul DIY. Penskoran item tes menggunakan skala politomus empat kategori dan menggunakan teknik Partial Credit Model (PCM). Karakteristik tes terdiri atas kecocokan item, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran item dan fungsi informasi dan Standard Error of Measurement (SEM). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa realiabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,72. Keseluruhan instrumen tes dinyatakan fit dengan PCM, dengan rentang INFIT MNSQ 0,93 sampai 1,10. Indeks kesukaran 63 item (difficulty) antara -1,06 sampai 1,04. Berdasarkan fungsi informasi dan SEM diketahui bahwa instrumen tes sesuai dengan peserta didik berkemampuan dari -1,8 sampai 3,0. Keseluruhan tes dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk mengukur Creative Thinking Skills Fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA

    This research aims to 1) produce computer-based assessment instruments eligible to measure the cognitive abilities of senior high school students, 2) test the effectiveness of computer-based assessment instrument developed to measure the knowledge of physics in senior high school students, 3) measuring the level of readiness of students in dealing computer-based national examanation. This research uses a model of Research and Development (R & D) which consists of three main stages: the preliminary stage, the stage of development and evaluation phase. At the preliminary stage has been identified problems of computer-based assessment of learning physics. At the development stage has been carried out the design manufacture of computer-based assessment instrument physics, product validation, product revisions and testing of products on a limited basis. In the evaluation stage has been tested extensively, product revision, and the final product. Descriptive statistical test used to describe the results of the application of computer-based knowledge assessment. The results research show that : 1) computer-based assessment instruments eligible to measure cognitive abilities of senior high school students, 2) computer-based assessment instruments are more effective and efficient to measure the students knowledge of physics in senior high school rather than paper and pencil test, 3) 58.67% of students are ready to face computer-based test, 34% of students not yet ready for the computer based test and 7.33% are not ready to perform the test based computer

    Instrumen Penilaian Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik SMA Negeri Mata Pelajaran Biologi Kelas X

    Research development is done by quantitative approach that aims to: (1) Generate tools for the assessment of critical thinking ability; (2) Describe the quality of instruments developed to measure critical thinking skills. The study population is the XIP MIPA class of fourteen SMAN in Kendal District. The sample of the research was determined using purposive sampling technique which represented the school with high, medium, and low ranking criteria. Trial conducted on 201 learners. The test instrument was developed with a reasonable multiple choice form. Four categories of scores on each item correspond to the scoring of the PCM (Partial Credit Model) politomus model. Research data were analyzed using the help of EXCEL application, SPSS 16, QUEST and PARSCALE. The results showed that: (1) The critical thinking test instrument fulfilled the validity of the content of the expert judgment; (2) The test instrument with four categories of fit scores on the PCM model; (3) The test instrument has a high reliability value; (4) The test instrument has good difficulty level criteria; (5) Test instruments can be used to estimate critical thinking skills

    Analisis Estimasi Kemampuan Siswa dengan Pendekatan Item Response Theory Penskoran Dikotomus dan Politomus

    This study compares students' abilities using the Item Response Theory (IRT) approach to dichotomous and polytomous scoring. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research subjects were 1175 high school students in class XI spread across West Java and Banten provinces, consisting of 450 male students and 725 female students. Response data with dichotomous scoring were analyzed using the item response theory approach with the BILOG-MG program, while the polytomous scoring was analyzed using the GPCM approach using the R program. The results of the model fit test showed that the items most fit with the 2PL model. The instrument used is a work and energy material test instrument tested for validity d, reliability, distinguishing power, and difficulty level. The results showed that the average ability with a polytomous score was greater than that of a dichotomous, even though compared to having almost the same ability but with a relatively different distribution. The distribution of students' abilities with polytomous scoring is closer to the normal curve than the dichotomous scoring. The relationship between students' ability scores with these two scoring approaches is shown by a correlation coefficient score of 0.990 and a determination index of 0.9808 with a prediction line y= 0.9735 x +0.0036
