    Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru dalam Mengelola Pembelajaran IPA di SD dan MI

    The objective of this study was to know the teachers’ pedagogic competence to manage the teaching and learning of IPA at SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Kota Yogyakarta and MIN Kota Yogyakarta II. The research methods of the study is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. Data were validated by using triangulation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The result of data findings shows that the teachers’ pedagogic competence to manage the teaching and learning of IPA at SD Negeri Tamansari 1 Kota Yogyakarta is categorized “good”. Meanwhile, the teachers’ pedagogic competence to manage the teaching and learning of IPA at MIN Kota Yogyakarta II is categorized “poor”. The similarity of the teaching implementation for both schools is they try hard to develop a democratic teaching and students’ center-based teaching. They have a different teaching method. At SDN Tamansari 1 Kota Yogyakarta, the teachers implement minds-on and hands-on teaching process, that is, the experimental, demonstrational, and observational teaching, while the teachers at MIN Kota Yogyakarta implement theoretical (rote learning) teaching approach. Those differences were caused by some factors, such as: teachers’ qualification, teachers’ certification and professionalism, and the students’ background

    Keluarga merupakan fondasi utama dalam pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak. Namun, tidak semua orang tua memiliki pemahaman yang memadai mengenai pola asuh anak yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan dan dampak dari kegiatan kajian rutin bertema Parenting Islami di Masjid Jami' Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Kajian ini dilaksanakan secara mingguan selama delapan kali pertemuan dan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konseptual dan praktikal orang tua dalam pengasuhan anak, perubahan sikap positif dalam komunikasi dan disiplin, penguatan hubungan keluarga, serta perubahan sikap anak yang lebih positif. Kajian ini juga menyediakan layanan konseling untuk memperdalam dampak edukatifnya. Diharapkan model ini dapat direplikasi di masjid-masjid lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan keluarga di masyarakat

    Cow urine contains a high element of nitrogen that can be utilized as a liquid fertilizer. In the process of making liquid fertilizer, addition of fish waste is expected to increase the nutrients content. This study aims to analyze the content of CNPK liquid fertilizer from cow urine with the addition of fish waste. This goal is traced by varying the amount of fish waste addition (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50) g and day tests CNPK content analysis (before and after fermented). This liquid fertilizer using anaerobic fermentation technology for the past 14 days with the addition of banana roots MOL as bioactivator. The results showed that the addition of cow urine with 20 grams of fish waste is the most effective with C-organic content of 4.41%, Ntotal by 0.62%, amounting to 0.58% P2O5 and K2O by 1.30% however, this liquid fertilizer is not eligible to Permentan No.70/Permentan/SR.140/10/2011 about pupuk organik, pupuk hayati, dan pembenah tanah

    Gestational hypertension is one of the problems during pregnancy. Pregnant women with gestational hypertension can experience adverse effects for themselves and their fetuses, such as intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), intrauterine fetal death (IUFD), preterm labor, placental abruption, and organ failure. The objective of this research is to provide midwifery care for pregnant women with gestational hypertension at PMB Nurhayati in the working area of Air Tiris Health Center from June 4 to June 11, 2024. The results of the case study provided to Mrs. N, with eight home visits, showed that her blood pressure before care was 142/99 mmHg and after receiving care, her blood pressure decreased to 128/90 mmHg. The midwifery care provided included health education about a hypertension diet, therapy by recommending the mother read the Qur'an, and giving the mother cucumber juice mixed with sweet oranges twice a day for seven days. Based on the care provided to Mrs. N, a 28-year-old G2P1AOH1, it was found that her blood pressure decreased, and her complaints were resolved. In conclusion, the care provided was well implemented. It is hoped that pregnant women with gestational hypertension and the general public can increase their knowledge of pregnancy, particularly regarding the knowledge and management of gestational hypertensio

    Development of articulate storyline learning media integrated with religious values for sexual education in elementary school children

    The escalating prevalence of violent behavior, sexual deviations, and juvenile delinquency within educational settings underscores the urgency for effective intervention strategies. This study endeavors to address this pressing issue by designing religious, value-oriented, narrative-driven educational media aimed at imparting sexual education to elementary school children. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach grounded in the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the research team meticulously crafted and refined the learning materials. Validation of the developed products involved rigorous scrutiny by a diverse panel of experts, including media specialists, materials experts, pedagogical experts, linguists, educators, and students. This comprehensive validation process integrated both qualitative and quantitative analyses to ensure the robustness and efficacy of the educational resources. Evaluation of the products yielded promising results, with expert validators assigning an overall score of 85, denoting a "Very Good" quality assessment. Furthermore, assessments from teachers and students echoed this sentiment, with scores of 94.3 and 85.1, respectively, both falling within the "Very Good" category. The cumulative data score, totaling 264.4 with an average of 88.1, further validates the effectiveness and utility of the developed learning materials. In conclusion, the findings of this study highlight the viability and effectiveness of religious value-based narrative learning media in delivering sexual education to elementary school children. These findings not only contribute to addressing the pressing societal concern of juvenile delinquency but also offer tangible educational resources for instructional use in diverse educational settings

    The Evaluation Inclusive Education Program Based Pancasila Values in Giwangan Elementary School Yogyakarta

    This research is educational research and development. The aim is developing an evaluation instrument that implementation inclusive education based on the values of Pancasila in elementary school. The research target is to get the evaluation instrument for inclusion school so that the known effectiveness of inclusive education based on the values of Pancasila in elementary school. Research methods have used research and development. Data collection techniques using an instrument. The object of research is the Giwangan elementary school. The results showed the steps used in developing the evaluation instrument of inclusive education program is analyzing needs, designing development, producing/developing evaluation instrument, to evaluate products, and do the final product testing and quality evaluation instrument of inclusive education program based on the values of Pancasila. Thus, this evaluation instrument can be used to conduct the evaluation in school which would program the inclusive educational based on the values of Pancasila, particularly on the first principle, second principle, and the fifth principle.     Keywords: The Inclusive Education and The Values of Pancasil

    Penerapan Discovery Learning Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Lancar Materi Elektrolit Non Elektrolit

    The research was aimed to describe the practicality, effectiveness, and effect size of discovery learning model in improving the ability of the fluent thinking of electrolyte and non electrolyte solution topics. This research used poor experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of the research was X.3 class of SMAN 6 Metro as the experimental class by cluster random sampling. Based on the results showed that the practicality and the effectiveness of discovery learning model had a high criteria, n-gain average in the ability of the student's fluent thinking was 0.69 and effect size was 0.97. This research concluded that discovery learning model practic, effective, and big effect size in order to improve the ability of the fluent thinking.in improving the ability of the fluent thinking on electrolyte and non electrolyte topics. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan, keefektivan, dan ukuran pengaruh model discovery learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode poor experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X.3 SMAN 6 Metro sebagai kelas eksperimen, yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepraktisan dan keefektivan model discovery learning memiliki kriteria “tinggi”, nilai rata-rata n-gainkemampuan berpikir lancar siswa sebesar 0,69 dan ukuran pengaruh sebesar 0,97. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model discovery learning praktis, efektif, dan memiliki pengaruh yang besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit

    Implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in Developing Creativity of Elementary School Students

    Creativity is a new idea or imagination in creating something. This creativity is a person's ability to create new things that are developed from existing ideas or ideas that arise from their own minds. Creativity must be developed from an early age, especially during school so that there is always a renewal that is created. Increasing this creativity can be done in strengthening the values of Pancasila and entrepreneurship projects. This study examines the role of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in fostering creativity among elementary school students through entrepreneurship initiatives. Conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Noyokerten, students engaged in various activities such as plasticine making, waste management, and healthy sandwich preparation, integrating practical skills with conceptual learning. This holistic approach aims to empower students to be creative, innovative, and environmentally conscious, contributing positively to their communities. The learning method used is descriptive qualitative which describes projects using a variety of materials and techniques to support practical and conceptual learning. The activities cover a range of topics, including flour plasticine making, plastic waste management, healthy sandwich making, and fruit ice and fruit satay making. Through these activities, students are not only introduced to practical skills, but also encouraged to understand important issues such as environmental sustainability and healthy eating. The overall conclusion is that this learning empowers students to become creative, innovative and environmentally conscious individuals, with a positive impact on their daily lives and the community around them

    Building the Independent Character of Elementary School Students

    The cultivation of independent character among elementary school students is crucial in the 21st century. Strong character traits such as empathy, integrity, responsibility, and resilience help students navigate challenges and make positive contributions to their communities. This research focuses on the development of independent character among students during the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive research method with a qualitative approach was used, involving observation, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. The subjects of the research were the school principal, teachers, students, and parents. The data was analyzed through source triangulation techniques to identify opportunities and challenges in the development of character, including in-class learning activities, school culture, and extracurricular activities. In-class learning provides a foundation of knowledge and values, while the school community creates a supportive and inclusive environment. Extracurricular activities allow students to develop skills and interests and expose them to new experiences. Effective integration of these three elements helps students become well-rounded and independent individuals
