PENGOLAHAN BUAH TERUNG POKAK (Solanum torvum) MENJADI TEH HERBAL SEBAGAI MINUMAN FUNGSIONAL
Pokak growing in fertile highlands is still classified as a wild plant and contains good bioactive and nutritional compounds. Drinks made from pokak are potential health drinks. The problem of pokak is relatively little consumed by the people of Indonesia. The results of the pokak research indicate that there are polyphenol compounds, tannins, flavonoids, caffeine, fumaric acid, maleic acid, alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals. The aims of this research to process pokak eggplant fruit into 2 types of herbal teas, namely black tea and pokak green tea. The observation parameters were the organoleptic test, chemical component test including bioactive compounds and nutrients. The research method used the Fridman test, phytochemical screening, proximate test, Vitamin C, and minerals. The best organoleptic test results include aroma, taste, color, the most preferred by consumers is code 862 TB, namely pokak black tea. Qualitatively, pokak black tea contains saponins, glucosides, steroids, alkaloids. The nutritional test contains carbohydrates, fat, protein, ash content, moisture content, vitamin C. contains minerals Ca, Mg, Fe. The results of the study prove that Pokak herbal tea has a function for health and is potential as a functional drink
AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKTRAK METANOL DAN AIR TEH HERBAL POKAK ( Solanum torvum ) TERHADAP ANTIBAKTERI PATOGEN
Pokak (Solanum torvum) can thrive in Indonesia and had high phytochemical and antioxidant compounds. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of antioxidant compounds on herbal tea products, namely methanol extract of pokak herbal tea and water extract of pokak herbal tea on the inhibition of the growth of pathogenic bacteria. The herbal tea processing method uses surface response. The measured parameters were the total phenol content, tannins, flavonoids, and antioxidant activity (% DPPH Imbibition) and test for pathogenic bacteria inhibition zone using the disc method. The results showed that the best treatment was pokak green tea water extract containing 93.81% antioxidant activity (% DPPH inhibition), total phenol 55.20 mgGAE/g, tannin content 1.70 mgTAE/g, flavonoid levels 1.78 mgQAE/g. Analysis of pokak green tea water extract at a concentration of 100% had an inhibitory power against pathogenic bacteria E coli 20 mm, 20 mm MRSA, 20 ml Salmonella typhi, 19 mm Streptococcus pneumonia. Pokak green tea water extract can be used as a drink that functions for health in inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria
PENGARUH LOKASI TUMBUH TERHADAP SENYAWA FITOKIMIA PADA BUAH, BIJI, DAUN, KULIT BUAH TANAMAN TAKOKAK (Solanum torvum)
Takokak was a plant that was widespread in Indonesia and quite a lot is made culinary at this time. Research on takokak eggplant was developed due to the high content of phytochemical compounds. The problem that exists was that this plant had not been planted by many people but grows by itself in various locations. The purpose of this study was to know the content of phytochemical compounds in the fruit, seeds, and leaves of takokak that grow and develop in different locations. The experimental design used quantitative tests including antioxidant activity, total phenol, tannin content, flavonoids. The locations studied are at Mojokerto and Malang city. The research resulted show that there were differences in phytochemical content, the best data was eggplant takokak originating in the city of Batu, East Java. The Takokak eggplant plant thrives and had higher levels of bioactive/phytochemical compounds in the sub-tropical climate highlands near the mountains of Batu, Malang
EFEK JENIS MULSA DAN MACAM PUPUK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KACANG PANJANG (VIGNA SINENSIS .L) VARIETAS PERSADA-355
The research aimed to study the interaction between the effects of various types of mulch and fertilizers on the growth and production of long beans. The research used a randomized block design, Factor I type of mulch consisting of 3 levels: M0 = No mulch, M1 = black and silver plastic mulch, and M2 = Straw mulch. Factor II is the type of fertilizer: including P1 = NPK Mutiara 600 kg/ha, P2 = biological Petrobio 90 kg/ha, P3 = NPK Mutiara 50% + biological Petrobio 50%. The results showed the effects of various types of mulch and fertilizers have significant interaction between the growth of leaf number and fruit weight of long beans, namely M1P3 (black silver mulch and application of 50% pearl fertilizer and 50% biological Petrobio)
ANALISA SENYAWA BIOAKTIF ANTIOKSIDAN DAN ZAT GIZI TERHADAP BUAH TERUNG POKAK (Solanum torvum) SEBAGAI BAHAN PANGAN FUNGSIONAL
Solanum torvum has potential as a functional food ingredient because it contains bioactive antioxidant compounds which are quite high and are proven as herbal medicines in China and are a popular food in Florida, Alabama, West India, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, Central America, South America, Brazil. The study aims to analyze the components of bioactive antioxidant compounds and nutrients in qualitative and quantitative methods and functional groups in fresh Solanum torvum. The research method used phytochemical screening, quantitative tests, chemical identification with LCMS, FTIR, AAS. The results of phytochemical screening studies, the Solanum torvum contains few alkaloids, while it contains a great number of saponins, steroids, glycosides. The quantitative test showed that the fruit contains 36.31 mg /g phenol, 0.62 mg/g tannin content, 2.76 mg/g flavonoid content and antioxidant activity (% DPPH inhibition) of 84.55%, 82.77% water content, 1.63% ash content, 2.73% fat content, 9.78% protein, 3.69% carbohydrates, 3.77% vitamin C, 0.97% phosphorus, 0.13% potassium, Ca 36.64 ppm, Mg 79.1 ppm, Fe 2.34 ppm. Chemical tests with LCMS contain 13 types of components namely (1) chlorogenic acid, (2) 4-O-caffeoylquinic, (3) 3-O-caffeoylquinic, (4) 4-O-caffeoylquinic, (5) 3-O-feruloylquinic acid, (6) 5-O-feruloylquinic acid, (7) 3-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, (8) 4-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, (9) 3-5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, (10) 3-O -feruloylquinic acid, (11) 5-O-feruloquinic acid, (12) putative dicaffeoylquiniacid, (13) putativedicaffeoylquinic acid. The functional groups of Solanum torvum have seven types namely phenol (OH), Alkane (C-H), Alkene (C = C), aromatic ring, Nitro (NO2), Amine and Amide (C-N), Alcohol (C-O). Thus, fresh Solanum torvum contains potential antioxidant compounds and nutrients that function for health and functional food
EKSTRAKSI MINYAK ATSIRI DAUN ROSELLA (Hibiscus SabdaÃiffa L ) METODE WATER STEAM DESTILATION
The rosella plant has antioxidant and coloring compounds that are useful for coloring and aromatic various drinks. The research aimed to study the extraction of essential oils from rosella leaves through phytochemical screening and sensory testing of the oil results. The research method used extraction of essential oil using water steam distillation, color, aroma analysis using the hedonic method, and antioxidant activity using the DPPH method. Results showed the amount of essential oils in leaves is 0.0087% in 1 kg of dry material. Rosella Leaf Oil 25% like the yellow color, 75% like it, 0% dislike it, 30% like the aroma of the leaf essential oil, 70% like it, and 0% dislike it. The antioxidant activity in rosella leaves with concentrations (ppm): of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 ppm (22,5; 29,7; 34,9; 42,13; 44,5; 51, 4)%. A comparison or control test using ascorbic acid with the same concentration as above showed a percentage of inhibition (37,53;44,16; 51,84; 61,19; 72,45; 88,22)%. The IC 50 value of ascorbic acid (as a control) is 26.94 ppm and the IC 50 of Rosella leaf extract is 171.27 ppm, which is classified as having weak antioxidant activity in the leaves. The GC-MS results showed essential oil consists cis-3 Hexenyl Acetate (11.50%), 3-Cyclohexene-1-methanol (4.97%), 2-Propenoic acid (2.65%), Linalool 3,7-oxide (2.15%), Methyl 4-methylhexanoate (1,54%), Butanoic acid (0.54 %), 3-Methylpent-3-en-2-ol (0.25%), 1-Hexen-3-ol (0,24%)
PENGARUH JUMLAH MATA TUNAS BATANG ATAS DAN TINGGI BATANG BAWAH PADA SAMBUNG PUCUK TERHADAP PERSENTASE TUMBUH JAMBU AIR (Syzygium Samarangense)
Water guava (Syzygium Samarangense) was a popular plant in Indonesia because it was fresh and sweet. The aim of this research was to analyze the effect of the number of shoots of the upper stems and height of the rootstock at the shoot graft on the percentage of growing water guava. The method used in this study was a completely randomized design, factor into one rootstock length, namely 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm. and the second factor was the number of buds on the scion, namely 2, 3, and 4. The results showed that there was a significant interaction in the treatment combination of the number of 4 buds on the upper stem and the length of the rootstock 15 cm at 35 days after grafting affected the growth percentage and growth in the number of leaves and length of the scion
PENGARUH MACAM ZPT ALAMI DAN LAMA PERENDAMANTERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN AWAL BENIH SEMANGKA (Citrullus lanatus) KADALUARSA VARIETAS HIBRIDA F1 (REDIN)
Tanaman semangka adalah tanaman buah semusim karena mudah tumbuh dan dapatmeningkatkan pendapatan petani. Semangka merupakan buah yang banyakmengandung air dan mempunyai nilai gizi yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untukmengetahui interaksi antara ZPT alami dan lama perendaman terhadap pertumbuhanawal benh semangka (Citrullus lanatus) kadaluarsa varietas Hibrida F1 (REDIN).Metode penelitian dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial terdiri 2 faktorperlakuan. Faktor ke satu adalah macam ZPT alami (D) yaitu ekstrak bawang merah,ekstrak bonggol pisang, dan ekstrak kecambah. Faktor kedua adalah lama perendaman(L) yaitu 3 jam, 5 jam, dan 7 jam. Hasil riset yang dianalisa bahwa terdapat interaksiantara ZPT alami dan lama perendaman pada parameter pengamatan daya tumbuhbenih, jumlah akar dan panjang akar. Pengamatan daya tumbuh benih umur 14 HSTdengan daya tumbuh tertinggi terjadi pada perlakuan D1L3 dengan rerata 7,67.Pengamatan jumlah akar terbanyak pada perlakuan D2L1 (41,44 helai) dan padapengamatan panjang akar terpanjang pada perlakuan D1L3 (44,44 cm). Perlakuantunggal ZPT alami tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua perlakuan, sedangkan perlakuantunggal lama perendaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman semangkadedanga rerata tertinggi terjadi pada perlakuan L3(7 jam) 8,52 cm
Mentoring dan Sosialisasi Teknologi Pengemasan Olahan Nanas di Desa Babadan Kecamatan Ngancar Kabupaten Kediri
Tanaman nanas yang banyak ditanam di kecamatan Ngancar, kabupaten Kediri merupakan produk unggulan petani. Penanganan pasca panen dan teknologi pengemasan buah nanas masih jarang dilakukan oleh petani nanas di desa Babadan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendorong minat dan kemampuan dalam melakukan usaha bisnis nanas segar dan olahan yang bermutu yang dikemas baik agar aman dan menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan cara penyuluhan tentang penanganan pasca panen dan teknologi pengemasan olahan nanas, dan pendampingan kepada kelompok PKK. Pelatihan dihadiri 20 orang dari desa Babadan, selama 2 hari mulai tanggal 20 sampai 21 Agustus 2021 berlokasi di balai desa Babadan mulai pukul 10.00 sampai 12.00. Peserta pelatihan didampingi dan didukung oleh anggota pengurus koperasi pertanian Langgeng Mulyo dan bapak kepala desa Babadan untuk mewujudkan usaha agribisnis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan adanya respon positif dari peserta untuk mengembangkan menjadi UKM pengolahan nanas dengan dukungan akademisi, pemerintah, pihak swasta serta bank yang siap memberi kredit usaha bisnis nanas. PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK ORGANIK SARI ALAM DAN PUPUK PETROBIO TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays sacharata) VARIETAS TALENTA
Sweet corn needs continue to increase along with the increase in population and the increase in processed foods made from sweet corn. In Indonesia the yield of sweet corn is classified as low, which is 3.5 tons / ha, while the potential for sweet corn production currently reaches 8.31 tons / ha. To meet the needs of sweet corn in the community that continues to increase, it is necessary to have an effective cultivation system by utilizing organic fertilizer, so that we get healthy products, safe for public health and the environment. This study aims to determine the interaction between the dose of Sari Alam organic fertilizer and Petrobio fertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays sacharata) Talenta variety. In this study using factorial randomized block design. Observative vegetative parameters include plant height, stem diameter, and leaf area. While the harvest parameters include weight of corn cobs with weights, weight of corn cobs without weights, cob length without weights, Sugar Level Analysis (%). From the results of the study there was a very real interaction on the combination treatment of organic fertilizer dosage of natural juice and petrobio S3P2 fertilizer (dosage of natural extract 44gr / plant, petrobio dose 0.5gr / crop) at the observation of plant height at the age of 21 days and stem diameter at 28 days . There was a significant effect on the single factor dosage of S3 natural fertilizer organic fertilizer (dose 44gr / plant) on the weight of lobed cob
