    Emotions are at the heart of our social life. They function as filters of perceptions that affect our conscious actions and even decisionmaking. The range of acceptable emotions varies with culture, gender, and age. In many areas of life, inappropriate emotions cause trouble. Organizations therefore require and expect their employees to manage their emotions and refrain from negative emotional outbursts. This creates the need to investigate the opportunities how to regulate emotional behaviour as a means of controlling the negative effects of emotions in the workplace

    Corporate Social Responsibility Aspects Within the Publicised Corporate Culture of Bulgarian Companies

    In recent years, the notion that business has a broad responsibility to society as a whole has gained significant momentum and is reflected in various academic theories, business practices and regulations. The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been interwoven with various academic fields, including strategic management and corporate culture. In order to establish a reputation as a socially responsible business entity, it is necessary for companies to adequately disclose CSR activities and events in the virtual space. The aim of this paper is, therefore, to examine the scope of CSR disclosure on the Internet by organisations from different sectors of the Bulgarian economy and its role in the portfolio of publicised corporate culture. The research methods used to achieve this aim include establishing relative values, comparative analysis and content analysis. The findings of the study demonstrate that there is an ambiguous attitude towards CSR in the companies surveyed, as in certain sectors it has a high degree of disclosure and is leading in rank, while in others it is present on the web pages of a small number of companies and has a rather peripheral role among the other elements in the portfolio of publicised corporate culture. To improve the communication effectiveness of the CSR component within the publicised corporate culture, it is essential that the information, initiatives, and priorities disclosed on the company web page are relevant and consistent with the fundamental aspects of the culture, specifically the mission, vision and values/principles

    Целта на студията е да се изследват състоянието и тенденциите на доброволчеството в нашата страна и да се очертаят перспективите на развитие. В тази връзка основните задачи са следните: да се проучат и обобщят най-новите теоретични постановки и нормативни документи по разглежданата проблематика; да се представи обективен анализ на настоящата ситуация в България относно съществуващото разбиране и отношение към доброволчеството; да се проведе анкетно проучване сред доброволци, което да очертае профила на българския доброволец и параметрите на съществуващата практика; да се дефинират условията, налагащи необходимостта от утвърждаване на доброволчеството като важен елемент за преодоляване на последиците от финансовата и икономическата криза и като инструмент за социално включване на групи в неравностойно поло- жение. Основната изследователска теза, която се защитава, е, че в нашата страна доброволчеството вече е признато като полезна и важна за европейската общност, държавата и обществото дейност и се очаква, то да заема все по-значима роля в поддържане на важни социални системи на европейските държави в бъдеще. Извършено е анкетно проучване на личности, осъществяващи доброволческа дейност в рамките на доброволчески организации или самостоятелно. Очертано е състоянието на доброволчеството като явление и са формулирани идеи и препоръки за неговото развитие в новите икономически реалности. The objective of the study is to research the state and trends of volunteerism in our country and to outline the prospects for development. In this respect, the main tasks are as follows: to research and summarize the latest theoretical formulations and normative documents on the discussed topic; to present an objective analysis of the current situation in Bulgaria regarding the existing perception of and attitude towards volunteerism; to carry out a survey among volunteers, which will shape up the profile of the Bulgarian volunteer and the parameters of the existing practice; to define the conditions imposing the need for confirming volunteerism as an important element in overcoming the consequences of the financial and economic crisis and as a tool for social inclusion of disadvantaged groups. The main research thesis that is defended is that in our country volunteerism is acknowledged as a useful and significant activity for the European community, state and society, and it is expected to play an even more significant role in the support of important social systems of the European countries in the future. The survey we have carried out focuses on individuals who perform volunteer activities within volunteer organizations or individually. The state of volunteerism as a phenomenon is outlined and ideas and recommendations for its development in the new economic realities are formulated

Очакванията са той да служи като основа за осъществяването на успешен и екологосъобразен корпоративен мениджмънт в условията на глобалните екологични и икономически предизвикателства пред света. Новият еко-ефективен модел за корпоративно управление е базиран на актуалната концепция “4Е”, включ ваща компонентите: Equity (ресурси, активи), Efficiency (ефективност), Ecology (екология) и Ethics (етика). The project is related to the development of an eco-effective model of corporate management of the Bulgarian companies. Expectations are that it will serve as the basis for implementing an environment-friendly corporate management, which will successfully address the current global environmental and economic challenges. The new eco-effective model of corporate management is based on the popular concept “4E” and its main components: Equity, Efficiency, Ecology and Ethics
