    Moral Character and Responsibilityfor Semende Peoplein Ulu Danau, South Sumatera

    This research was aimed to know the values being implemented in the community to maintain the existence of the custom in Ulu Danau village in South of Sumatera province. The method applied was ethnography with a qualitative approach. Then, the data were collected by observtion, which would be analyzed and concluded. The results of the analysis and discussion show that Semende people in the village of Ulu Danau see the custom of Tunggu Tubang and Jenang Jurai as normal things to create the responsible character, and moral character that will be embodied in the implementation of Besundi, Besindat, and Besingkuh. The value of responsibility on Tunggu Tubang custom teaches the value of hard work, the message, honesty, and discipline. As for custom of Jenang Jurai, it is shown through the value of independence, democracy, fairness, and tolerance. Besundi Besindat Besingkuh show the values of mannerism and deportment. Last, it is seen as efforts by the people in the community to maintain the custom by giving the space and an emphasis on it

    This research aims to find out how the description of the indigenous culture of bride Malay Ujungbatu Riau in the civic culture\u27s development. Bride Malay Ujungbatu\u27s Indigenous culturein the development of civic culture explores and examines the bride indigenous. The results this research show that a) the bride custom culture of Malay Ujung Batu has a culture that are: menjalang mamak, kampung suku, kampung penghulu and menjalang mintuo. In the context of civic culture, there is the value of silaturrahim, religious, family, responsibility, deliberation, and togetherness, b) the procession of bride Malay Ujung Batu includes: antar tanda, khatam Al-qur\u27an, tepung tawar, berinai, ber-arak or ber-dikie. In the context of civic culture, there is the value of belief, attitude, ability of cooperation, solidarity, togetherness, responsibility, mutual cooperation, c) the civic culture\u27s developmentas the part of civic education (PKn) takes place naturally in the family and society. The research subjects are indigenous figure, youth and society. The efforts made in preservation are motivating simultaneously from both the indigenous figure and the parents in a family environment. It can be concluded that there are civic cultural values in the indigenous of bride Malay Ujungbatu Riau as part thecivic culture\u27s development

    This research aims to see the civic culture on the culture and local wisdom of Bali Aga people in Trunyan, as well as to find how to preserve that. The method which used is qualitative with ethnography approach. The result shows that there is civic culture in the culture and local wisdom of Bali Aga people. That is found on culture of Ngayah, Paruman, Mepasah, and Barong Brutuk also in the value of local wisdom called Menyama Braya. The result also shows the preservation is run naturally along with belief in their ancestors and the bond between people and tradition

    Partai politik memiliki peranan yang sangat menentukan dalam keberlangsungan sistem demokrasi modern dan merupakan pilar utama sistem politik nasional. Oleh karena itu pendidikan politik dapat menjadi salah satu pendekatan untuk mengetahui fenomena yang terjadi dalam kehidupan partai politik sebagai proses demokratisasi di Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini membahas mengenai makna pendidikan politik bagi Dewan Pengurus Wilayah Partai Keadilan Sejahtera Jawa Barat, hubungan platform partai terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila, pendekatan, metode, dan media yang digunakan oleh partai dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai Pancasila kepada para kadernya. Adapun temuan dari penelitian ini, 1) pendidikan politik yang dilakukan oleh partai politik kepada para kadernya merupakan proses sosialisasi politik yang di dalamnya merupakan upaya edukatif guna meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh Dewan Pengurus Wilayah Partai Keadilan Sejahtera Jawa Barat. 2) Dalam hubungan platform partai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila merupakan sebuah proses pendidikan politik yang di dalamnya para kader di berikan pengetahuan, pemahaman, serta pengalaman baru dalam mentransformasikan nilai-nilai dan orientasi politiknya terhadap sistem ideal yang di harapkan. 3) Hambatan yang dihadapi adalah terdapatnya beberapa kader partai yang masih menganggap Pancasila sebagai thogut

    Web-based Information Openness to Increasing Political Participation in Indonesia

    This qualitative research aims to describe the use of web-based information disclosure to increase political participation in Indonesia. Technological advancements make it easier for the Indonesian people to understand political participation. Jari Ungu is a web-based communication media created to recognize legislators in 2014-2019, government regulations, governor and legislative candidates for 2019-2024. Data is taken through a literature study of 10 articles related to political participation. The researchers also collaborated with five participants aged 18-25 years, five participants aged 30-40 years, five participants aged 50-60 years and three legislative candidates for interviews live in Jakarta. The results of the study indicate that web-based can improve political participation in Indonesia. In addition, Jari Ungu as a web-based provides convenience to the public in recognizing legislative members as well as prospective legislative members. Jari Ungu also provides an opportunity for the public to oversee every policy and regulation made by legislative members and governors in various provinces in Indonesia. Even though 10 from 40 participants didn’t know about Jari Ungu. This research can be used as a source of information for socialization to the community in areas related to web-based political participation education. It is the legislative members they choose

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil pelajar Pancasila secara konsepsi maupun kebijakan dalam perspektif Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di tiga sekolah menengah di Kota Bandung, yaitu SMAN 12, SMAN 23, dan SMAN 25. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan kebijakan profil pelajar Pancasila yang memiliki integritas dan moralitas tinggi, serta untuk meminimalisir praktik pendidikan yang berorientasi pada komersialisasi dan proseduralitas semata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Melalui metode ini, peneliti dapat memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang kasus yang diteliti berdasarkan pengalaman dan perspektif partisipan yang terlibat secara langsung dalam penelitian. Peneliti menggunakan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dengan partisipan yang dianggap sebagai pemeran utama dan memiliki pengalaman yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian ini.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan kebijakan penting dalam satuan pendidikan yang bersifat komprehensif. Meskipun masih terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pengembangan dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila dan perencanaan P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila), sekolah-sekolah yang menjadi lokasi penelitian telah berhasil menerjemahkan dan merealisasikan kebijakan tersebut.Seluruh subjek penelitian sepakat, bahwa profil pelajar Pancasila perlu diberlakukan dalam satuan pendidikan pada era ini. Namun, tetap mereka berharap, penerapan profil pelajar Pancasila dalam satuan pendidikan tidak sebatas slogan saja, tetapi bisa terus dilaksanakan dan dapat bermanfaat positif terhadap pengembangan karakter, kompetensi, dan sikap warga negara muda. Meskipun belum mengejewantahkan sila Pancasila secara utuh, namun dimensi-dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila memodifikasi nilai Pancasila dan kompetensi abad 21. Kata kunci : kompetensi abad 21, pendidikan kewarnegaraan, profil pelajar pancasila ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the profile of Pancasila students conceptually and policy in the perspective of Citizenship Education in three secondary schools in the city of Bandung, namely SMAN 12, SMAN 23, and SMAN 25. The purpose of this study is to implement the Pancasila student profile policy that has integrity and high morality, and to minimize educational practices that are oriented to commercialization and procedurality. This research uses qualitative approach with Case Study Method. Through this method, researchers can gain an in-depth understanding of the case under study based on the experiences and perspectives of participants directly involved in the study. Researchers used in-depth interviews with participants who are considered to be the main cast and have experience that is relevant to the focus of this study.The conclusion of this study shows that the Pancasila student profile is an important policy in a comprehensive education unit. Although there are still some obstacles in the development of the Pancasila student profile dimension and P5 planning (Pancasila student profile Strengthening Project), the schools that are the location of the research have succeeded in translating and realizing the policy.All subjects agreed that Pancasila student profile needs to be applied in education units in this era. However, they still hope that the application of Pancasila student profiles in education units is not limited to slogans, but can continue to be implemented and can be positively beneficial to the development of character, competence, and attitudes of young citizens. Although it has not yet revealed the precepts of Pancasila as a whole, the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile modify the value of Pancasila and 21st century competence.     THE STRATEGY OF THE BANDUNG CITY’S NATIONAL UNITY AND POLITICS AGENCY IN REALIZING EXCELLENT HUMAN RESOURCES

    The strategy of the Bandung National Unity and Political Agency (Bakesbangpol) in realizing excellent human resources is still conventional. This can be seen in the form of education and training for the community without using technological advances to develop community digital literacy as an effort to create excellent society and protect from internal threats in the form of radicalism, terrorism, and intolerance; and externally,  in the form of territorial security and digital security. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy of the Bandung City Political and National Unity Agency in realizing excellent human resources to face the various threats facing Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods, data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the strategic concept carried out by the Bandung City Political and National Unity Agency in the form of education and training to defend the state for the community. The implementation carried out was still conventional, an alternative to realizing excellent human resources carried out by the National Unity and Political Agency, namely by optimizing the use of technology, create a sustainable curriculum and focus on developing digital literacy in society to prevent various external and internal threats.Keywords: The National Unity and Political Agency, defend the state indonesia, society, human resource

    Revitalisasi peran perguruan tinggi dalam menangani gerak radikalisme dan fenomena melemahnya bela negara di kalangan mahasiswa

    Paham radikal semakin merisaukan karena berkembang pada kelompok strategis yaitu pemuda. Penyebaran melalui media sosial dengan kemunculan hoax serta beberapa situs web radikal menjadi tren baru serta andalan kaum teroris dalam menyebarkan pahamnya. Gerakan radikalisme sangat masif, terorganisir dan berbahaya. Hal ini diperparah dengan lemahnya semangat bela negara dikalangan mahasiswa. Oleh karenanya penanganannya pun harus dilaksanakan secara komprehensif yang salah satunya melalui revitalisasi peran perguruan tinggi di Jawa Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian adalah dosen, pimpinan bidang kemahasiswaan dan mahasiswa pada beberapa Universitas di Jawa Barat (UPI, Unpad, UIN Bandung, ITB, dan IPB).  Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui peran Perguruan Tinggi di Jawa Barat dalam menangani gerak radikalisme dan fenomena melemahnya bela negara dikalangan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa peran perguruan tinggi dalam menangani gerak radikalisme dan fenomena melemahnya bela negara dapat dilaksanakan melalui tiga jalur utama, yaitu melalui pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Umum (MKU), lembaga kemahasiswaan, dan organisasi kemahasiswaan.Kata kunci: perguruan tinggi, penanganan gerak radikalisme, mahasiswa ABSTRACTRadicalism is increasingly troubling because it develops in strategic groups, namely youth. Spreading through social media with the emergence of hoaxes and several radical websites has become a new trend and a mainstay of terrorists in spreading their understanding. The radicalism movement is very massive, organized, and dangerous. It compounded by the weak spirit of defending the country among students. Therefore, the handling must carried out comprehensively, one of which is through revitalizing the role of universities in West Java. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Respondents in the study were lecturers, student leaders, and students at several universities in West Java (UPI, Unpad, UIN Bandung, ITB, and IPB). The purpose of the study to determine role of universities in West Java in dealing with the movement of radicalism and the phenomenon of weakening the national defense among students. Based on the results of the study, it can seen that the role of Higher Education in dealing with the movement of radicalism and the phenomenon of weakening state defense can carried out through three main channels, namely through General Courses (MKU), Student Institutions, and Student Organizations
