    On behalf of the ATLAS Collaboration.International audienceA combined search for the Standard Model Higgs boson with the ATLAS experiment at LHC using datasets corresponding to integrated luminosities from 1.0 to 2.3 fb−1 of pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV is presented. The Higgs boson mass ranges 146 - 230 GeV, 256 - 282 GeV and 296 - 459 GeV are excluded at 95% Confidence Level, while the range 131 - 450 GeV is expected to be excluded in the absence of a signal. Searches in several decay channels are discussed: H → γ γ , H → b ¯ b, H → τ + τ −, H → ZZ ( ∗) → l + l −l ′ +l ′ −, → WW ( ∗) → l ν l ν , H → WW → l ν qq, H → ZZ → l l ν ν , H → ZZ → l l qq. No significant excess was observed in any of these channels for the entire mass range from 110 to 600 GeV. In addition, a search for neutral Higgs bosons in the Minimal Supersymmetric extension to the Standard Model (MSSM) is presented

    Bali has many center of home industry. The development of home industry is expected to increase local entrepreneurs income and salary of employee. In palm leaf handicrafts, activities done by women. This study aims to determine the factors that impacted to women labour productivity. This research was conducted in the Bona Village Gianyar Regency. The number of sample is 93 which taken purposively. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. Results showed that the factors that affect women labour productivity were age, work experience and marital status. Education does not affect the productivity. Age is the dominant factor affecting women labour productivity in palm leaf handicrafts in Bona Village

    Evaluasi Keragaman Genetik Jagung Inbrida Berdasarkan Sepuluh Marka Simple Sequence Repeat

    Keragaman genetik jagung inbrida diperlukan untuk mendapatkan jagung hibrida yang berpotensi hasil tinggi. Keragaman inbrida dapat dievaluasi melalui analisis molekuler dengan marka simple sequence repeat (SSR). Tujuan enelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi keragaman genetik jagung inbrida yang berlatar belakang genetik berbeda dengan marka SSR dan mengelompokkannyasebagai panduan untuk pembentukan jagung hibrida. Sebanyak sepuluh marka SSR digunakan untuk mengelompokkan 32 jagung inbrida yang memiliki latar belakang genetik yang berbeda. Analisis dilakukan di Laboratorium BiologiMolekuler, Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Bioteknologi dan Sumber Daya Genetik Pertanian, pada bulan Maret 2017. Data polimorfisme SSR pada jagung inbrida dianalisis secara statistik dan filogeninya menggunakan perangkat lunak NTSYS. Hasil analisis keragaman genetik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antarinbrida, termasuk inbrida yang dihasilkan dari satu populasi jagung bersari bebas. Total sepuluh marka SSR mampu membedakan alel homozigot dan heterozigot jagung inbrida. Dari hasil pengelompokan jagung inbrida pada tingkat kesamaan 68% diperoleh dua klaster. Klaster pertama terdiri atas 30 inbrida, sedangkan klaster kedua hanya terdiri atas inbrida Al-46 dan 22-9-5-4-17-5. Pasangan inbrida dengan jarak genetik terjauh adalah inbrida 22-9-5-4-17-5 dan 23-4-9-7-2-9, dan inbrida CML161/Nei 9008 dan 22-9-5-4-17-5. Inbrida tersebut potensial untuk dijadikan sebagai tetua dalam menghasilkan hibrida karena jarak genetiknya yang relatif jauh

    Abstract. Chicken livestock development can increase rapidly, if the supply of seeds can run well, followed by regular management, feeding, breeding and disease prevention. So far the exact ratio of males and females is unknown, especially by rural communities so hatching failures often occur. This study aims to determine the ratio of male and female to fertility, egg hatchability and egg hatching weight of native chicken. The experiment was carried out using 8 males and 60 females as elders, and divided into four treatments and two replications with the ratio of males and females, A (1:5); B (1:7); C (1:9); D (1:11), Continued hatching of 120 eggs with 15 treatments each. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). If between treatments showed significant differences, it was continued with the Honestly Significant Difference test (BNJ). The results showed that the highest fertility was in group B (96.66) and the lowest in group D (56.66). The highest hatchability was in group B (96.66) and the lowest in group D (56.66). The highest hatching weights were in group B (23.18) and the lowest in group D (21.33). This study can be concluded that the ferlititas, hatchability of eggs is much better in group B and the hatching weight of native chicken eggs is much better in group B

    Efek suplementasi “Jamu Rempah” pada puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) terhadap performa dan kadar kolesterol telur

    ABSTRAKTelur puyuh merupakan salah satu sumber protein hewani yang banyak disenangi masyarakat. Namun, sebagian orang membatasi untuk mengkonsumsinya karena kolesterol yang tinggi pada telur puyuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui taraf pemberian “Jamu Rempah” yang efektif dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol telur puyuh. “Jamu Rempah” terdiri dari teh, kayu manis, kapulaga, bunga lawang, pala, dan cengkeh. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap 4 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan. Puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) yang digunakan sebanyak 128 ekor umur 42 hari yang dipelihara selama 5 minggu dan diberi ransum komersial. Perlakuan 1 (P0) kontrol atau tanpa “Jamu Rempah” dan perlakuan suplementasi jamu rempah 10 ml, 30 ml dan 50 ml dalam 1 liter air minum. Variabel yang diukur adalah konsumsi air minum, konsumsi pakan, produksi telur dan kolesterol telur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa suplementasi “Jamu Rempah” pada ternak puyuh dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol telur puyuh. Pemberian “Jamu Rempah” memiliki efek yang signifikan (P<0,05) untuk meningkatkan konsumsi air minum burung puyuh (P<0,05) dan produksi telur puyuh. Perlakuan P1 (pemberian 10 ml “Jamu Rempah” dalam 1 liter air minum) dan P2 (pemberian 30 ml “Jamu Rempah” dalam 1 liter air minum) memiliki hasil yang sangat baik menurunkan kadar kolesterol telur puyuh.Kata kunci: jamu, kadar kolesterol, rempah, suplementasi, telur puyuhABSTRACTQuail eggs is one source of animal protein that many people like. However, some people decrease to consume it because of high cholesterol in quail eggs. This study aims to determine the level of herb medicine (Jamu Rempah) which is effective in lowering the cholesterol level of quail eggs. The ingredients of “jamu rempah” were tea, cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, nutmeg, and cloves. This study was conducted by using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment were a control (PO) and supplementation of herb medicine (jamu rempah ) : 10 ml (P1), 30 ml (P2) and 50 ml (P3) in 1 liter of drinking water. One hundred and twenty eight quails aged 6 weeks used in study and reared for 5 weeks were feed by commercial ration. The variables observed were water consumption, feed consumption, eggs production and eggs cholesterol. The results showed that supplementation of herb medicine in quail can lower the level of eggs quail cholesterol. Supplementation of herb medicine has a significant effect to increase quail water consumption (P <0.05) and quail egg production (P <0.05).Treatment P1 (10 ml “Jamu Rempah” in 1 liter water) and treatment P2 (30 ml “Jamu Rempah” in 1 liter water) have excellent results t decrease the cholesterol level of quail eggsKeywords: jamu, cholesterol level, herb, supplementation, quail eg
