    Toward Platform-Economy Continuity: Do Descriptive Norms and Perceived Product Attributes Matter to Youths who Use Ride-Hailing Apps?

    Abstract. This study investigates how descriptive norms and perceived product attributes (utilitarian and hedonic benefits) influence the intention of young consumers to continue to adopt ride-hailing apps. We developed a conceptual model drawing upon the socio-technical theory by involving 333 Indonesian users of ride-hailing apps and estimating the model using the statistical tool of PLS-SEM-based software. The findings showed that social aspects (descriptive norms) and technical aspects (utilitarian and hedonic benefits) significantly influence young consumers to adopt ride-hailing apps. Intriguingly, a positive perception of the apps’ benefits is instrumental for encouraging young consumers to continue to adopt ride-hailing apps when descriptive norms appear, when peers in their social circle widely adopt similar apps. This study highlights the unique behavior of young consumers in adopting ride-hailing apps by accentuating the role of descriptive norms and perceived product attributes from the perspective of socio-technical theory. This study provides practical recommendations for digital platform providers, particularly TNCs (Transportation Network Companies), which offer ride-hailing services to address the young consumer segment with a community-based marketing approach to maintain their continued adoption.   Keywords: Continuation intention, platform economy, digital platform, ride-hailing services, socio-technical theory, young consumer

    Qualified Muslims are very likely to be built through collaborative synergies with higher education and Islamic boarding schools. The existence of higher education which is increasingly free to innovate through barriers outside the campus is an opportunity for mastery of science and technology to prepare proficient, applicable, adaptive, dynamic and progressive Muslims towards global technological developments. The phenomenon of the rise of Islamic features that characterize our national life, which triggers extremism, with religion as the legitimacy of its actions is a participatory challenge to develop national life based on religious social diversity. The synergy of higher education with its academic potential & Islamic boarding schools which are historically culturally can be said to be training centers which de facto have the values ​​of local wisdom with the paradigm of religious moderation (Wasathiyyah) as a form of understanding and practice, as well as approaches in the contextualization of Islam in the midst of a developed & traditionalized global civilization. This existence will be able to realize the reactivation of the Wasathiyah Islamic paradigm. It is also an answer to various situations that seek to divide the unity, in the form of moderation of religious thought and practice which mediates the freezing point of contact between the diversity movements that have developed in Indonesia

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan di Alfamart Cabang Karawaci Residence Bojong Nangka Kelapa Dua, Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengambil sampel populasi pelanggan Alfamart Cabang Karawaci Residence Bojong Nangka Kelapa Dua sebanyak 120 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan. Promosi langsung dan promo yang ditawarkan Alfamart berpengaruh besar terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan untuk meningkatkan kualitas promosi dan harga yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelanggan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan meningkatkan penjualan.     The quality of learning in the classroom cannot be separated from the role of the teacher. Teachers are required to be creative and innovative in developing learning media, so that students are more enthusiastic in learning activities. This article discusses the effectiveness of the Role Playing learning method on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam; PAI) subjects at Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas; SMA) Sabiluth Thayyib Pasuruan. This article uses a quantitative approach. The population was all SMA Sabiluth Thayyib students, while the selected samples were Class X.A as the experimental class and Class X.B as the control class. The research results show that the use of the Role Playing method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes. This is proven by N-Gain Score test on student learning outcomes and obtaining an average score of 69.73% for the experimental class, which is higher than the average student learning outcomes in the control class which was 59.54%. Kualitas pembelajaran di kelas tidak terlepas dari peran guru. Para guru dituntut untuk kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran, agar siswa lebih bersemangat mengikuti pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas tentang efektivitas metode pembelajaran Role Playing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Sabiluth Thayyib Pasuruan. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa SMA Sabiluth Thayyib, sedangkan sampel yang terpilih adalah Kelas X.A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Role Playing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan perhitungan uji N-Gain Score pada hasil belajar siswa dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 69,73% untuk kelas eksperimen, yang lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas kontrol yang hanya sebesar 59,54%.     Pengaruh komunikasi internal dan kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan TVRI Jawa Timur

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi internal dan kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai TVRI Jawa Timur secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 respoden yang terdiri dari Karyawan TVRI Jawa timur, sedangkan tehnik pengambilan menggunakan tehnik sensus. Pada penelitian ini variabel bebasnya terdiri dari komunikasi internal dan kepemimpinan, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kinerja pegawai. Pengujian instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian deskriptif dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel komunikasi internal masuk kedalam penilaian tinggi, yaitu berada pada interval 3,41-4,20, sedangkan variabel kepemimpinan dan kinerja Karyawan juga masuk kedalam penilaian tinggi dengan interval 3,41-4,20. Variabel independen (X1) diperoleh T_hitung (-1,128) T_tabel (0,035). Maka variabel X1 tidak berpengaruh secara signifika, dan X2 berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap variabel Y. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa F_hitung (2,463) alpha pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, maka Ho dan Ha ditolak yang berarti variabel independen secara bersama-sama atau tidak mempengaruhi variabel dependen secara signifikan. Sedangkan koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R Square) sebesar 0,058 atau 5,8% yang berarti variabel kinerja karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Komunikasi Internal dan Kepemimpinan

    EFFECT OF LIQUIDITY, DIVIDEND POLICY, SALES GROWTH ON COMPANY VALUE

    This study aims to determine whether liquidity, dividend policy, sales growth have an effect on firm value in manufacturing companies in the consumption sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. The data collection technique used is porposive sampling so that a sample of 15 companies is obtained. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, analysis linear regression, classical assumption test and model feasibility test. The results of the study using the partial test (t test) showed that liquidity had a significant positive effect on firm value, dividend policy had a significant positive effect on firm value, and sales growth had a negative effect on firm value. This research method uses quantitative research which is a research method that examines the population or sample, collects data using research instruments, analyzes quantitative data and all of that will be used to test the established hypothesis

    Physico-chemical, and Sensory Properties of Soy Based Gouda Cheese Analog Made From Different Concentration of Fat, Sodium Citrate and Various Cheese Starter Cultures

    Gouda cheese analog (GCA) was made using soy protein isolate (SPI), skim milk powder (SMP), fat (palm fat and butter fat), and water (W) at optimal ratio of SPI : SMP : F : W = 14 : 6 : 20 : 60. The effects of butter fat, sodium citrate, and cheese starter culture on the sensory properties of ripened product were assessed by preference test, hedonic test, and the texture profile analysis (TPA) of GCA. The free fatty acids, water-soluble nitrogen, and reduction in pH value of progel were also measured. The use of 100% butter fat (BF) produced strong Gouda flavor. It could be due to the fatty acids content in BF; in contrast, product with 100% palm fat (PF) produced tasteless GCA. It might be due to fatty acids content in PF, middle, and long chain fatty acids. Single cheese starter culture could not develop Gouda flavor during ripening. The use of mixed fat (50% BF and 50% PF) and mixed cheese starter culture together with Brevibacterium linens developed a suitable characteristic flavor of Gouda product during ripening. The addition of 0.5% sodium citrate could improve the flavor; nevertheless, it reduced the stability of texture

    Kualitas website berperan penting dalam mempengaruhi efektivitas komunikasi pemasaran produk Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM). Meskipun website berperan penting, namun masih sedikit penelitian yang mengkaji tentang kualitas website perusahan dalam konteks UKM di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penentu kualitas website UKM yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode campuran (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Penelitian melibatkan 32 pelanggan pembelanja berat online produk UKM yang dipilih secara purposive, dan 8 UKM yang dalam pemasarannya banyak menggunakan website serta 5 pakar (pengelola website dan akademisi) dilibatkan dalam Focus Group Discussion untuk memvalidasi hasil. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan Smart PLS menunjukkan berturut-turut dari dimensi yang paling dominan dalam menentukan kualitas website adalah: E-Service, Kualitas Gambar, Kualitas Informasi, dan Kualitas Sistem.
