    The background of this research is the ability of solving the problem of mathematics of vocational high school students who are still relatively low, to improve this capability required research using cooperative learning method type AIR. The formulation of this research are: (1) How the application of cooperative learning model type AIR can improve problem solving a learning model AIR. Method of this research is classroom action research, to class student XI in one of the Vocational Schools in Sukabumi, which is 35 students. Instrument used is written test I - III, and nontest journal, observation sheet and questionnaire of attitude scale. The material in this research is Limit Function. The result of this research are: (1) the mathematical communication ability of students increases in line with the ongoing learning by using AIR type cooperative model, (2) Application of AIR type cooperative learning model can improve students' mathematical problem solving ability; (3) student activity in learning with using AIR type co-operative model obtained improvement, student's response to learning model of positive AIR type cooperative

    This research is based on the level of mathematical reasoning ability and Self confidence which is owned by Students who are still relatively low. then the purpose of this study are: 1) to know the level of students\u27 reasoning ability seen from the achievement of minimum mastery criteria (KKM); 2) to know the students\u27 perceptions of each indicator of mathematical reasoning ability; 3) to know the level of Self confidence categories of students on each item statement. This research uses qualitative approach with explorative descriptive method. Subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS1 which amounted to 20 students in SMA Putra Juang academic year 2017/2018. The research instrument consisted of test question instrument, non test instrument in the form of questionnaire, and interview guide. From the research, it is found that the reasoning ability and self confidence of XI IPS1 SMA Putra Juang class students on the opportunity material are included in low category. This can be seen from the test results where the value of Students 75% below KKM and only 25% above KKM.Serta from the questionnaire that shows the ability of self-confidence mathematics owned 50% low students, 25% Medium, 20% High, and 5 % very high. whereas students \u27misconception in reasoning ability occurs in many indicators of students\u27 ability to construct and test a conjecture in mathematics lessons, where only 5 students reach this indicator of ability

    This study aims to analyze the achievement and improvement of problem solving skills of junior high school students through the application of guided inquiry method. This research is an experimental research with research design in the form of pretest-posttest Control Group Design, which is design of pretest-posttest control group involving two groups and sampling is done randomly class. Population in this research is all students in one of junior high school in Sukabumi Regency. The sample in this research is the students of class VIII SMPN 1 Sukaraja which has population characteristics. From all the existing classes VIII, two classes were chosen randomly to be sampled. The instrument used is the test of mathematical problem solving ability. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the achievement of the problem solving ability of mathematical students in learning using guided inquiry method is better than the students who use ordinary learning.     Artikel ini dibuat untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian MA Wasilatul Huda Cicalengka Kabupaten Bandung sebanyak 24  siswa dengan tujuan meningkatkan indikator kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah  matematik, yang ditinjau dari setiap siklus, apakah dari setiap siklus tersebut mengalami peningkatan atau penurunan, pada soal indikator manakah siswa merasa kesulitan, kinerja siswa yang seperti apakah yang dapat meyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah  dilapangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualiatif. Adapun penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan  prestasi siswa baik ditingkat lokal madrasah atau ditingkat Nasional dalam hal ini meningkatkan nilai UNBK, yang selama ini menurut data yang didapat dari Pusat Penilaian pendidikan dari KemenDikBUD rata-rata nilai UNBK pada tahun ajaran 2018-2019 dikabupaten Bandung terutama pada materi geometri 33,08  dan dimadrasah yang dijadikan subjek penelitian nilai rata-ratanya 32,7, jadi masih dibawah rata-rata ditingkat kabupaten, serta untuk meningkatkan kinerja pembelajaran dimadrasah.Tahap penelitian yang dilakukan terdiri dari: tahap perencanaan,tahap pelaksanaan tindakan kelas, obsevasi dan evaluasi, serta umpan Balik. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh: 1) pada siklus satu pencapaian kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah  matematik siswa hanya 39,58 %, 2) pada siklus dua pencapaian kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah  matematik meningkat menjadi 61,98 %, 3) sedangkan pada siklus tiga rata-rata kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah  matematik meningkat menjadi 79,34 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengukur indikator kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah  matematik mengalami peningkatan yang lebih baik dan mencapai ketuntasan pada siklus tig

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri di Cianjur dimana siswa Sekolah Dasar mengalami kesulitan proses dalam operasi hitung bilangan bulat, disebabkan kurangnya penguasaan kemampuan pemahaman siswa tentang dasar-dasar konsep bilangan bulat dan operasi bilangan bulat sehingga siswa mampu mengembangkan aplikasi matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pada 25 siswa SD Negeri di Cianjur kelas VI. Instrumen yang diberikan berupa angket skala motivasi belajar siswa yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan dan 4 pilihan jawaban. Angket motivasi belajar yang berhubungan dengan media ICT berbasis VBA for Excel terdiri dari 4 indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri di Cianjur dengan menggunakan media ICT berbantuan VBA for Excel pada materi garis bilangan secara keseluruhan tergolong sangat baik dan terdapat 3 indikator yang masuk kriteria baik sekali yaitu untuk indikator Percaya diri dalam menggunakan matematika (sangat baik), indikator Flekibel dalam melakukan kerja matematika (sangat baik); indikator Kerelaan meninggalkan kewajiban atau tugas lain, (sangat baik). Terdapat 1 indikator yang masuk kriteria baik yaitu indikator Ketekunan dalam mengerjakan matematika (baik)

    Mathematical creative thinking is the ability to think that aims to solve a problem with many ideas, produce ideas that are diverse, can create new ways and have no similarities with others and are able to develop an idea. Indicators of students' mathematical creative thinking abilities used are fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. This study aims to determine the mathematical creative thinking skills of vocational students in Cimahi City on the material of two-variable linear equation systems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The instrument used is in the form of a test of creative thinking skills in the form of a description, a question given to students of class X as much as 31  students. Students in one of the Vocational Schools in Cimahi City. The results of the study show that the ability of students in creative thinking on the material system of linear variables is still low, only 39% of the students' answers reached the maximum score
