    PENGARUH WORK-LIFE BALANCE DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN

    Employee performance is essential in achieving organizational goals. Work-life balance and motivation need to be considered in supporting employee performance. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of work-life balance and motivation on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative correlation. The subject in this study is someone who has worked as an employee as many as 384 people. Data analysis using multiple linear regression tests. The results of this study on work-life balance variables, especially in the demands dimension, have a negative influence on employee performance by 3.6%, while the resources dimension has a positive influence of 17.5%. The results of data analysis on motivation variables, especially in the physiological dimension, have a positive influence on employee performance by 21.9%, the security dimension has a positive influence on employee performance by 16.1%, the affiliation dimension has a positive influence on employee performance by 35.4%, the reward dimension has a positive influence on employee performance by 31.5%, and the self-actualization dimension has a positive influence on employee performance by 31%. Work-life balance and motivation together affect employee performance by 41.1%

    Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti tahap pengetahuan, sikap dan amalan hijau guru-guru Teknologi Kejuruteraan Zon Utara dengan menggunakan Teori KAP. Kajian ini juga bertujuan mengenalpasti adakah terdapat perbezaan tahap pengetahuan Teknologi Hijau berdasarkan kepada bidang pengkhususan guru-guru Teknologi Kejuruteraan Zon Utara yang berbeza. Kajian ini dijalankan ke atas 43 orang guru Teknologi Kejuruteraan Zon Utara melibatkan negeri Perak, negeri Kedah dan negeri Perlis. Satu set soal selidik digunakan sebagai instrumen kajian. Statistik deskriptif seperti kekerapan, peratusan dan min telah digunakan untuk menerangkan profil responden, tahap pengetahuan, sikap dan amalan hijau guru-guru Teknologi Kejuruteraan Zon Utara. Statistik inferensi yang digunakan ialah ANOVA sehala untuk mengetahui perbezaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan tahap pengetahuan guru-guru Teknologi Kejuruteraan Zon Utara adalah sederhana. Sikap guru-guru pula berada pada tahap yang positif manakala amalan hijau guru-guru berada pada tahap sederhana. Hasil kajian juga mendapati tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dari segi tahap pengetahuan Teknologi Hijau berdasarkan kepada bidang pengkhususan guru yang berbeza.Seterusnya cadangan-cadangan kajian lanjutan melibatkan aspek infrastruktur, peralatan, dan pelajar berkaitan keperluan penerapan Teknologi Hijau ke dalam kurikulum sekolah

    Sampling and Reconstruction of Signals in a Reproducing Kernel Subspace of Lp(Rd)L^p({\Bbb R}^d)

    In this paper, we consider sampling and reconstruction of signals in a reproducing kernel subspace of L^p(\Rd), 1\le p\le \infty, associated with an idempotent integral operator whose kernel has certain off-diagonal decay and regularity. The space of pp-integrable non-uniform splines and the shift-invariant spaces generated by finitely many localized functions are our model examples of such reproducing kernel subspaces of L^p(\Rd). We show that a signal in such reproducing kernel subspaces can be reconstructed in a stable way from its samples taken on a relatively-separated set with sufficiently small gap. We also study the exponential convergence, consistency, and the asymptotic pointwise error estimate of the iterative approximation-projection algorithm and the iterative frame algorithm for reconstructing a signal in those reproducing kernel spaces from its samples with sufficiently small gap

    An analysis of factors of importance to international postgraduate students from Asia studying in Victorian universities

    Student satisfaction is a key strategic variable in maintaining a competitive position in the international education market by Australian universities. The universities are facing the challenge of rising student expectations of quality, service and value for money, and the need to increase the satisfaction level of their students to retain and improve international student numbers. This process requires universities to carefully analyse the key factors contributing to student satisfaction.Using logistic regression analysis with factor scores and aggregated satisfaction scores, this study examines the relative importance of factors and their impact on the satisfaction levels of international postgraduate students from four Asian countries studying at Victorian universities. The study concludes that the dominant factors that impact on student satisfaction include the quality of education, student facilities, reputation of the institutions, the marketability of their degrees for better career prospects, and the overall customer value provided by the universities.<br /

    Dissipation peak as an indicator of sample inhomogeneity in solid 4^4He oscillator experiments

    A simple phenomenological model is developed for the recent torsional oscillator experiments on solid 4^4He. Within this model, for a homogeneous sample there is a specific quantitative relation between the change in the oscillator's frequency and its maximum damping at the apparent supersolid transition. Much of the published data do not satisfy this relation, indicating that the dissipation peaks in those samples are strongly inhomogeneously broadened.Comment: 2 page

    Analisis Sensitivitas Ketebalan Reflektor Grafit Teras Rgtt200k Menggunakan Perhitungan Monte Carlo

    ANALISIS SENSITIVITAS KETEBALAN REFLEKTOR GRAFIT TERAS RGTT200K MENGGUNAKAN PERHITUNGAN MONTE CARLO. Salah satu parameter desain reaktor pebble-bed yang sangat penting selain radius, pengayaan dan densitas bahan bakar adalah ketebalan reflektor. Reflektor aksial dan radial dalam reaktor temperatur tinggi digunakan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi neutron, namun dimensi reflektor harus diinvestigasi khususnya untuk teras pebble-bed dengan opsi bahan bakar yang berbeda. Makalah ini secara esensial bertujuan mencari tebal efektif reflektor aksial dan radial yang direkomendasikan untuk teras RGTT200K. Analisis ditekankan pada perilaku neutron dalam bahan bakar bola dimana partikel TRISO disusun dengan kisi SC dalam matriks grafit dan perilaku teras yang disusun oleh bahan bakar pebble dalam kisi BCC. Perhitungan teras dengan tiga opsi bahan bakar, yakni UO2, PuO2 dan ThO2/UO2 pada berbagai fraksi packing TRISO dikerjakan dengan program transport Monte Carlo MCNPX dan pustaka data tampang lintang energi neutron kontinu ENDF/B-VI. Hasil perhitungan memperlihatkan Perubahan reaktivitas teras RGTT200K karena fraksi packing TRISO tidak secara langsung menyebabkan ketebalan reflektor radial bertambah. Penambahan ketebalan reflektor radial setelah mencapai 100 cm tidak memberikan Perubahan yang berarti terhadap reaktivitas teras RGTT200K. Penambahan ketebalan reflektor aksial juga tidak mempunyai dampak yang berarti pada Perubahan reaktivitas teras RGTT200K. Dari analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa, tebal efektif reflektor radial dan aksial bagian atas dan bawah dicapai masing-masing pada ketebalan 100 cm
