Dual versions of N=2 supergravity and spontaneous supersymmetry breaking
In this paper, using a model of N=2 supergravity - vector multiplets
interaction with the scalar field geometry as an
example, we show that even when the geometry is fixed one can have a whole
family of the Lagrangians that differ by the vector field duality
transformations. As a byproduct, for this geometry we have constructed a model
of (m-1) vector multiplets interacting with the hidden sector admitting
spontaneous supersymmetry breaking with two arbitrary scales and without a
cosmological term.Comment: 10 pages, LaTeX, IHEP preprint 94-9
On Dual Formulations of Massive Tensor Fields
In this paper we investigate dual formulations for massive tensor fields.
Usual procedure for construction of such dual formulations based on the use of
first order parent Lagrangians in many cases turns out to be ambiguous. We
propose to solve such ambiguity by using gauge invariant description of massive
fields which works both in Minkowski space as well as (Anti) de Sitter spaces.
We illustrate our method by two concrete examples: spin-2 "tetrad" field h_{\mu
a}, the dual field being "Lorentz connection" \omega_{\mu,ab} and "Riemann"
tensor R_{\mu\nu,ab} with the dual \Sigma_{\mu\nu,abc}.Comment: 9 pages, plain LaTe
Towards frame-like gauge invariant formulation for massive mixed symmetry bosonic fields. II. General Young tableau with two rows
In this paper we complete our construction of frame-like gauge invariant
description for massive mixed symmetry tensor fields corresponding to arbitrary
Young tableau with two rows started in [1]. We consider general massive theory
in (A)dS spaces with arbitrary cosmological constant as well as all special
limits which exist both in de Sitter and in anti-de Sitter spaces.Comment: 22 pages, 11 LaTeX picture
Dual versions of extended supergravities
Recently, using the model of N=2 supergravity -- vector multiplets
interaction with the scalar field geometry as an
example, we have shown that even when the scalar field geometry is fixed, one
can have a whole family of the Lagrangians, which differ by vector field
duality transformation. In this paper we carry out the construction of such
families for the case of N=3 and N=4 supergravities, the scalar field geometry
being and , correspondingly. Moreover, it turns out that these
families contain, as a partial case, the models describing the interaction of
arbitrary number of vector multiplets with our hidden sectors, admitting
spontaneous supersymmetry breaking without a cosmological term.Comment: 9 pages, plain LaTeX, no figure
Infinite spin fields in d = 3 and beyond
In this paper we consider the frame-like formulation for the so called
infinite (continuous) spin representations of the Poincare algebra. In the
three dimensional case we give explicit Lagrangian formulation for bosonic and
fermionic infinite spin fields (including the complete sets of the gauge
invariant objects and all the necessary extra fields). Moreover we find the
supertransformations for the supermultiplet containing one bosonic and one
fermionic fields leaving the sum of their Lagrangians invariant. Properties of
such fields and supermultiplets in four and higher dimensions are also briefly
discussed.Comment: 14 pages, 3 figures. Expanded version of the talks given at "Workshop
