    Testing of Stratified Cluster Sampling Technique to Produce Unbiased Estimator for Parameter of Population

    This research is done based on the importance testing of sampling technique before the real survey is done. The aim of this research is to test stratified cluster sampling technique in producing unbiased estimator of population. Based on theory, stratified cluster sampling technique is able to produce unbiased estimator. The reserch method used survey technique where the subjects are the whole the twelveth grade ofSenior High School in lubuklinggau and Musi Rawas. The calculation sample shows that the real number of population is 54,45 % whereas the result of sample is 55,5 %with sampling error 0,0464,therefore the samples have estimated parameter of population accuratly

    This research is aimed to investigate in this research to know how the implementation of the values of religious tolerance in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Amparita, The support and inhibiting factors and how the implementation of the values of religious tolerance in learning PAI at the school. This research is a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection in this research is the observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangular. While analyzing data is obtained by the researcher using reduction data, presentation data and verification data. The result of the research shows that the implementation of the values of religious tolerance in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Amparita is done by 1) Giving an opportunity to all students to follow the teaching of religion based on their religion, 2) Creating a tolerant climate in each lesson ( learn the different, creating an mutual trust, maintaining an mutual understanding, Revering an mutual love). 3) Make deeper related the material ( values of tolerance). The supporting factors including The government policy that has given the rules about embed the values of tolerance among religions, There is adequate facilities, the establishment of cooperation between the school community in religious activities. As for the inhibiting factors including the level of ability, The students have a different an emotional maturity, the school lacks educators Hinduism, the school lacks facilities (instructional media), limited time in learning. The success of the implementation of the values of religious tolerance in PAI learning is all the students who Moslem able to work together without discriminating against religion. The students have a high faith (religious), the students and teachers can be tolerance for each other, the students and teachers have a democratic character, The creation of harmony and good solidarity

    Peningkatan Kemampuan Membaca Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi Melalui Model Reciprocal Teaching Pada Siswa Kelas X Tkj Smk Budi Bangsa Pinrang

    This is a classroom action research which aims to describe the planning, implementation, and improvement of Reading Skills on Observations Text Reports in class X TKJ SMK Budi Bangsa pinrang by applying reciprocal teaching model approach. Samples were 31 students of class X TKJ SMK Budi Bangsa Pinrang of academic year 2014-2015. The subject teachers are considered successful in improving learning and planning with good result. At the action stage, the students have better attitude hanged proved by observation sheet. At the evaluation stage, the results of reading tests on the aspects of content, text structure, vocabulary, sentences, and mechanics show that students have not reached the predetermined level of completeness on the first cycle. The second cycle, students, have already achieved mastery in learning ability of reading observation text reports. Studets\u27 mastery on the first cycle is 38,71% improve to 90,32%; where as, the students\u27 average score on cycle I is 72,87% improve to 81,23% on cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the reciprocal teaching model approach can increase the reading skills of observations text reports in class X TKJ SMK Budi Bangsa Pinrang after two cycles had been conducted

    Salah satu Tafsiran al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan Bahasa daerah yaitu Tafsir al-Munir karya AG. H. Daud Ismail yang merupakan ulama besar dari tanah Bugis yang pertama menafsirkan al-Qur’an secara utuh. Beliau menghadirkan Tafsir Bahasa Bugis agar pesan-pesan Ilahi yang tertuang dalam al-Qur’an bisa dipahami masyrakat luas, khususnya Bugis.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, setidaknya memberikan gambaran terkait AG. H. Daud Ismail serta karakteristik Tafsirnya dan penerapan penafsiran dengan Metode Hida>’i tentang Arrijs. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah linguistik, pendekatan ilmu Tafsir, serta pendekatan sosial masyarakat. Tafsir al-Munir Mabbasa Ugi yang ditulis oleh AG. H. Daud Ismail mengikuti pola mushafi, beliau menulisnya dalam 10 jilid, tiap jilidnya terdiri dari 3 juz. Sistematika penulisannya dengan menuliskan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an berdampingan dengan terjemahan, ayat Al-Qur’an di tulis di bagian kanan dan terjemahan Bahasa Bugisnya di bagian kiri, Menyebutkan urutan surah dan ayat pada awal pemBahasannya, pada setiap penafsiran satu ayat, dua ayat, atau beberapa ayat Al-Qur’an di susun sedemikian rupa sehingga memberikan pengertian yang menyatu, atau ayat-ayat tersebut di anggap satu kelompok. Penafsiran al-Qur’an dengan metode Hida’i adalah upaya untuk memudahkan pembaca atau pendengar dalam memahami pesan-pesan al-Qur’an dalam bentuk narasi singkat, padat dan jelas yang memiliki unsur hidayah

    Knowledge collecting and donating can change old ideas about human resource management by providing new processes, disciplines and knowledge, resulting in organizational innovation, especially innovative work behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of knowledge collecting and donating on innovative work behavior. Quantitative methods are used to test knowledge collecting and donating on innovative work behavior. The research location is at Hasanuddin University, Makassar City. The population in this study were all employees at the Hasanuddin University Finance Bureau with status as state civil servants as many as 44 people. Withdrawal of the number of samples in this study using saturated sampling. Primary data collection by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that knowledge collecting and knowledge donating had a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on innovative work behavior.Knowledge collecting dan donating dapat mengubah ide-ide lama tentang pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dengan menyediakan proses baru, disiplin dan pengetahuan, sehingga menghasilkan inovasi organisasi khususnya perilaku kerja berinovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh knowledge collecting dan donating terhadap perilaku kerja berinovasi. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji knowledge collecting dan donating terhadap perilaku kerja berinovasi. Lokasi penelitian di Universitas Hasanuddin, Kota Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Biro Keuangan Universitas Hasanuddin yang berstatus sebagai aparatur sipil negara sebanyak 44 orang. Penarikan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa knowledge collecting dan knowledge donating berpengaruh positif dan signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap perilaku kerja berinovasi

    EFL teacher educators’ experiences in teaching critical reading: evidence from Indonesia

    While extensive studies have explored issues of teaching critical reading in English as a foreign language (EFL) classes, there is a paucity of research that examines teacher educators’ conceptions of teaching critical reading in the EFL contexts. To fill the gap, this phenomenological study probes into EFL teacher educators’ experiences in teaching critical reading. It specifically looks at teacher educators’ conceptions of teaching critical reading and how their teaching practices contribute to the development of students’ critical reading skills. Data were generated through in-depth interviews with nine teacher educators in a private university in Malang, Indonesia. Findings suggest that the teacher educators’ conceptions of teaching critical reading, as geared by their lived experiences, involve basic conceptions of teaching critical reading, teaching critical reading from a philosophical lens, and critical thinking empowerment in reading classes. The study also documents that teaching critical reading encompasses higher order thinking skills enacted in the process of reading. Practically, the study’s findings call for the enactment of pedagogic trainings for teacher educators in order to construe their basic tenets of teaching critical reading, the philosophies behind such a teaching practice, and the empowered learning activities in the reading classes

    Studi Eksperimental Kuat Tekan Beton yang Menggunakan Pasir Laut sebagai Agregat Halus di Kabupaten Fakfak Provinsi Papua Barat

    Penggunaan agregat halus di Kabupaten Fakfak sebagai penyusun campuran beton untuk pekerjaan konstruksi secara umum masih tergantung pada pasir laut yang potensinya cukup besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) mengetahui karakteristik pasir laut dan Pasir Sungai ; 2) mengetahui kuat tekan beton yang dihasilkan dari pasir laut dan pasir sungai pada pengujian 3, 7 dan 28 hari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian laboratorium berbasis sampel dan analisis karakteristik agregat dan uji tekan beton. Pasir laut Jalan Baru/Reklamasi, pasir sungai Palu dan pasir laut Kampung Seberang secara umum memenuhi persyaratan pengujian karakteristik agregat, namun demikian pasir yang paling baik digunakan adalah pasir laut Jalan Baru/Reklamasi dengan modulus kehalusan 2.183 dan masuk zone 2 (pasir agak kasar). Kuat tekan beton yang paling tinggi dari umur awal beton sampai akhir diperoleh dari pasir laut jalan Baru/Reklamasi dengan kuat tekan sebesar 93.86 kg/cm2 (umur beton 3 hari), 130.57 kg/cm2 (umur beton 7 hari), dan 172.61 kg/cm2 ( umur beton 28 hari). Sedangkan kuat tekan beton paling rendah pada umur awal beton (umur beton 3 dan 7 hari) diperoleh dari pasir sungai Palu, dengan kuat tekan sebesar 65.34 kg/cm2 (umur beton 3 hari), 101.20 kg/cm2 (umur beton 7 hari) dan 141.74 kg/cm2 (umur beton 28 hari).     Relational database systems that exist until now are only able to handle data that is definite (crisp), deterministic and precise. In fact, in real conditions, vague data is often needed for the decision-making process. For decision making involving fuzzy variables based on crisp data in the database, you can use a query on the database system with the concept of fuzzification on the data. In every educational institution, especially universities, there are several types of scholarships given to students. To get a scholarship, students must meet all the requirements that have been set. This study discusses the application of the Fuzzy Tahani algorithm for the recommendation of Academic Achievement Improvement (PPA) scholarship recipients at Bumigora University, Mataram. Data for PPA scholarship recipients was used in 2014 with details of the number of registrants 64 people and recipients (quota) of 15 people. Every year the number of applicants for this scholarship is increasing, while the processing and selection process is still done semi-manually so that the expected results are less than optimal, especially in terms of transparency and distribution. There are several variables that must be calculated by PPA scholarship recipients, namely the value of the Grade Point Average (GPA), Parents' Income, Number of Dependent Parents and Number of Diplomas. From the results of trials conducted in this study, it can be seen that the system's accuracy level reaches a value of 73.3%. This value is obtained by comparing the results of the semi-manual selection of PPA scholarship recipients with the results of the PPA scholarship selection using a system that uses the Fuzzy Tahani Algorithm

    This study aims to describe whether or not there is a relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension ability in class IX students of SMP Kemala Bayangkari Makassar. This study is a descriptive study using correlational analysis methods. The population in this study was 200 students and the sample was 40 students. In this study data was collected from two sources, namely the questionnaire value from the results of the reading habit questionnaire test and the value of reading comprehension ability from the results of the comprehension reading ability test. Data obtained in the form of primary data using a quantitative descriptive approach with an objective process and analyzing data. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that the relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension ability of class IX students at SMP Kemala Bayangkari Makassar has a positive correlation. In this study, it is hoped that the readers and writers themselves will be able to further improve their reading skills
