Persepsi Petani terhadap Usahatani Lahan Pekarangan (Studi Kasus Usahatani Lahan Pekarangan di Kecamatan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan)

Farm yard use is an innovation for farmers, while farmers´ perceptions of innovationcharacteristics greatly influence the sustainability of the farm yard. The purpose of thisstudy is to determine the perceptions of farmers about farm yard use in the Kerinci District.The study was done by survey, where interviwed to 30 respondents, used simple randomsampling tecnique. The results showed that the perception of the farmers is very good. Thisis indicated by the number of scores obtained in the amount of 1,381. Judging from therelative advantage by farmers, farming is highly beneficial both in terms of consumptionand in terms of the economy. The farmers also found it is quite suitable for farming on theirland. It can be seen from the results of their production is quite good, the perceived level ofcomplexity is lowest. This is because most of the respondents said that it is not only veryeasy to implement farm yard, but also they have farming experience before joining theprogram.Key word: Farm yard, innovation, perception

Analisis Efisiensi Agroindustri Kacang Kedelai di Desa Dayun Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk: 1) menganalisis pendapatan dan nilai tambahserta efisiensi agroindustri tahu dan tempe, 2) mengidentifikasi permasalahanagroindustri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei terhadap 4 unit USAhakedelai yang tersisa. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis deskriptif teknologiproduksi, analisis efisiensi USAha, dan analisis nilai tambah dengan tabel Hayami.Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian disimpilkan : 1) keempat agroindustritahu layak dikembangkan dan RCR tertinggi sebesar 1,19, 2) hanya satuagroindustri tempe yang layak dikembangkan dengan RCR 1,01, 3) nilai tambahyang diperoleh oleh agroindustri tahu untuk setiap kilogram kedelai adalah Rp.3.120 dan untuk produk tempe sebesar Rp. 3.325, dan 4) masalah yang dihadapiadalah terbatasnya modal untuk pengembangan USAha, air bersih yang sulit didapatdan harga bahan baku yang melonjak mendadak, serta tidak memiliki pembukuanakurat sehingga sulit mengetahui berapa untung dan rugi

Analisis Ketahanan Pangan Rumah Tangga Peserta Program Desa Mandiri Pangan di Desa Sei Simpang Dua Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hilir Kabupaten Kampar

Food security program is one of the important issues related to improve people welfare in villages. The objective of this study is analyse food security of participant households on food self-sufficency village programm in Sei Simpang Dua Village. The study uses both primary and secondary data using a survey method. Data were collected from 38 households participated in the program that taken by doing census and 30 traders related to the program using purposive sampling. The data were analyse to access the availability of food, household income, and household expenditure in the village. The results show that majority of food are available in the local market but were originated from outside the village. The households income on average are Rp 1.732.237,- while households expenditures are Rp 1.005.807.-. The low income level has provoked the average amount of calorie consumption only 1.266,10 kcal/capita/day

Peran Penyuluhan dalam Pemberdayaan Petani Kelapa Sawit Pola Swadaya di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan

The purpose of this research are: (1) To identify the role of extension on independent small holder farmers of oil palm; (2) To know empowerment level of the farmers; (3) To analyze the aims of extension; (4) To analyze influence the role's of extension toward empowerment and influence empowerment toward the aims of extension. This research was conducted at Betung Village and Batang Kulim Village in Pangkalan Kuras Sub District Pelalawan District. Research's respondent was determined by purposive sampling methods with number of respondent were 120. The consideration to choose the location is the location that has active extension activities and has farmer group. Validity, reliability, outliers, normality and multicolinearity analysis has been done on the measuring instruments. To answer the first, second, and third purpose of this research using likert's scale summated rating (SLR). To answer the fourth research purpose was using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the AMOS program. The result shows (1) The role of extension has shown quite on independent small holder farmers activity; (2) The empowerment level of farmers on the categorize quite with the extension activities as seen from empowerment human resource, productive economy, and the farmers institutional; (3) The aims of extension has quite as seen from better farming, better business and better living; (4) the role of extension has proven directly influence significantly toward level of farmer's empowerment and the level of farmer's empowerment has proven directly influence significantly toward reach of the role extension aims

The purpose of this research is to know the guidance role of palm oil plantations in the rock. To know the empowerment of the oil palm growers self-help patterns in the rock.Conduct an analysis of the achievement of education is seen from better farming, better business, and better livingAnalyze the influence of the role of education forem power mentan dem power mentin fluenceon the destination extension in Bukit Batu subdistrict. The data collection method using survey methods. Type making purposive sampling of respondents with oil palm farmers in the non-pattern excl. the rock. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis using a Likertscale, SPSS17, and Amos. The results showed1). Analisis Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian dalam Memberdayakan dan Memandirikan Petani Karet di Kecamatan Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This research aims 1) To determine the characteristic, the independent, and the characteristic of system sosial of agricultural extension worker insubdistrict Gunung Toar of Kuantan Singingi. 2) To analyzed the performance of agricultural extension workers in subdistrict Gunung Toar. 3) To analize the empowerment and independent of oil palm in Gunung Toar sub district of Kuantan Singingi. Research using survey method amounted to 5 extension selected by census and 55 non-pattern rubber farmers were chosen randomly. The Research analysed with scale likert. The results showed that 1) Characteristic extension workers in SubDistrict Gunung Toar categorized as "High". Extension workers in SubDistrict Gunung Toar categorized as "Independent" which is indicated by a score of 4.47. The characteristics of social system categorized as "High" with a score of 4.11 2)The performance extension workers in the district of Gunung Toar Regency Kuantan Singingi was “Good” score average (3,79). 3) But the empowerment and independent of palm oil farmers was “self power” and “self Independent” score average (2,91) and (3,31)

Efisiensi Produksi Padi di Kecamatan Kuala Kampar Kabupaten Pelalawan

Kecamatan Kuala Kampar sebagai daerah sentra produksi padi di kabupaten Pelalawan merupakan daerah yang diharapkan mampu menjaga stabilitas ketersediaan beras di Kabupaten Pelalawan. Tapi dalam Kenyataannya, produksi padi Kecamatan Kuala Kampar cendrung mengalami kenaikan namun juga mengalami penurunan. Produksi yang efisien akan menyebabkan penurunan biaya produksi yang selanjutnya akan menyebabkan peningkatan pendapatan petani. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor produksi dan tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi tanaman padi. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) Mengetahui karakteristik petani padi sawah pasang surut, (2) Menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi, (3) Menganalisis efisiensi teknis, alokatif dan ekonomi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif untuk menjawab tujuan pertama, analisis fungsi produksi Cobb-douglas untuk menjawab tujuan kedua, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) untuk tujuan ketiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik variabel luas lahan, jumlah benih, pupuk KCl, pupuk SP36, pupuk NPK, tenaga kerja, dan dummy penggunaan bibit unggul berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi. Umumnya petani responden telah efisien secara teknis namun belum efisien secara alokatif dan ekonomis
