From the Mobile Screen to the Kitchen: Exploring Audience Behaviours Online and Best Practices for Creators for Food Content Videos
Food content has ruled on social media in recent years (Edwards, 2019). Millennials and Gen Z as the main audiences state that the video is their favourite format of food content on social media. This study aims to determine the best practices of creating and producing the food content videos in long-form (over three minutes video) and short-form (30-70 seconds video). The research methods involved content analysis, case studies, and research creation as the research methods. Based on the research done in this paper, I produced a minimum viable product which was two long-form (YouTube) and two short-form (TikTok) ASMR cooking videos. The understandings of creating ASMR cooking videos were collected by analyzing the audiences’ motivations on watching food content videos and summarizing the strategies on producing ASMR cooking videos. These understandings were applied on the research creation process. The knowledge and strategies of producing food content videos are being collected and broken down into four aspects, which are visual aesthetic, camera angles, types of food, and audio. The research creation described the details of the video production process and the reflection of gaining new knowledge during the process. These results provide insight into understanding how to produce the best food content videos, especially in the ASMR cooking topic. On this basis, this research is for the benefit of video creators who are planning to produce food content videos.</p

Diagram of growth inhibition.
<p>A), DSM 1731 and its deletion or disruption mutants DDC14, DC93 and DC94. B) 1731(pIMP1) and 1731(p1518-1519). The growth inhibition level was determined by using the following formula: [(<i>A</i>600)+BuOH/<i>A</i>600]×100, <i>A</i>600+BuOH is referred to cell density in the presence of butanol.</p

Functional classification of different proteins.
<p>Note: The protein levels in DSM 1731 and 1731(pIMP1) under normal condition were used as the basis for comparison, respectively. The upregulation of fatty acid synthesis enzymes (acyl-ACP (acyl-carrier-protein) thioesterase and 3-oxoacyl-ACP synthase I) is more likely to be an indicator reflecting cell damage from butanol stress. The upregulation of HSPs is regarded as a common response to butanol stress, but not related with the function of SMB_G1518-1519.</p
