This recearched was aimed to realize the relation between empathy and emotional maturity toward prosocial behavior. There were two hypotheses proposed, which, there was a relationship existed between empathy and emotional maturity. Second hypothesis, there was a difference prosocial behavior among man and woman.Indicator used for measuring prosocial behavior, empathy, and emotional maturity was the use of scale. Subjects used in this research are 49 subjects. Data analysis used regression and t-test analysis. The result of the test showed that there was a significant positive relationship between empathy, emotional maturity, toward prosocial behavior showed by Rxy=0,932 with p=0,000, and no difference in prosocial behavior among men and women

Work and family problems in working adults are very complex during this pandemic, especially for those who are married and have children. Many role demands must be met from the work and family domains or are called work-family conflicts. The consequences of ongoing work-family conflict can be detrimental to individual health physically and psychologically, so prevention efforts are made by examining the role of the antecedent variables, namely work-family climate and work-family overload on work-family conflict. This study aims to examine the role of work-family climate and work-family overload on work-family conflict. The method used is quantitative. The research subjects were BPR Central Java and DIY employees. Statistical analysis with multiple regression tests. The sampling method uses simple random sampling. The results showed that there was a significant influence between work-family climate, work-family overload and work-family conflict on BPR employees (Rsquare = 0.505 p < 0.001). Work-family overload greatly influences work-family conflict ( r= 0.69) and work-family climate contributes (r = -0.22) to reducing work-family conflict among employees. These two variables contribute 50.5% to work-family conflict among BPR employees in Central Java and DIY. The ability of BPR employees to manage work-family conflict can prevent the consequences of work-family conflict, such as protecting their physical and psychological health so that they are able to improve their performance and quality of life in the post-pandemic period

The high-temperature work environment is an additional burden of heat pressure that results in the occurrence of subjective deficiencies in the worker and may cause disruption to the workforce. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between work climate with the level of fatigue in workers in PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo. This research use analytic survey method with the cross-sectional approach and sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling of 134 samples in Production I section that is hot press, shikumi, and putty. The study was conducted in January 2018. Data were analyzed by Chi-Square statistical test. The result of the research shows that most of the working climate that exceeds threshold value with high fatigue category is 70 respondents (52,5%), almost half of them are 40 respondents (29,9%) with the moderate level of errors. While in the working climate that does not exceed the threshold value with the category of fatigue rate is a small number of 20 respondents (14.9%) and high fatigue rate of 4 respondents (3.0%). Calculation of Chi-Square statistic test with significance level α = 0,05 obtained result ρ = 0,000 (0,000 <0,05) then H0 is rejected, so there is the significant relation between work climate with fatigue level at the worker in PT.KTI (Kutai Timber Indonesia) Probolinggo City. To minimize heat stress from a work climate that exceeds threshold value, it is better for the company to use an exhaust fan where the heat from the working environment sourced from the zinc roof and the production machinery is pulled out of the environment with lower temperatures, periodic health checks on labor, before work stretching for 3-5 minutes and suggest workers consume water every 20 minutes in the work

Introduction: Trends in contraceptive injections increased in the last two decades. Hormonal contraceptive injection is available in single or combination dose. However, the products are available more than 1 ml (more than recommendation of WHO). This study aims to determine the effectiveness, safety and side effects of the contraceptive injection Depo Progestin® 3 ml, Depo Vigestron® 3 ml and Depo Vigestron® 1 ml. Method: This study used randomized controlled clinical trial and open label. The research subject were 900 people in two center, Surabaya and Palembang. The samples were divided into 3 (three) groups, group Depo Progestin® vial 3 ml, group Depo Vigestron® vial 3 ml, and group Depo Vigestron® vial 1 ml. Each of consist 300 women using the "random permutation block". Analysis was performed 5 times, when an initial injection and a schedule of repeated injections in the 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th month. The data analyzed include weight, blood pressure, menstrual pattern, and the complaints of the patients. Results: From the 900 only 862 valid samples. The results showed no signi fi cant difference between groups Depo Progestin® 3ml, Depo Vigestron® 3 ml and Depo Vigestron® 1 ml. The majority of respondents experienced an increase in weight, but still within normal limits, did not have increased blood pressure, increased menstrual blood volume, Pregnancy didn\u27t occured to all respondents and found no abnormalities in cervical cytology. Conclusion: Contraceptive injection of Depo Progestin® 3 ml, Depo Vigestron® 3 ml dan Depo Vigestron® 1 ml, have used during 12 months can be concluded that those tree kind of contraception were efective, safe and had no side effect

Contains fulltext : 49453.pdf (publisher's version ) (Open Access)Malaria has long been known as one of the major public health problems in West Sumba District, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. To obtain baseline data for establishment of a suitable malaria control program in the area, malariometric surveys were conducted in two sub-districts, Wanokaka and Loli, during the periods of January, May, and August 2005. The survey included three selected villages in each sub-district, and blood smear analyses of 701, 921, and 894 randomly selected subjects in January, May, and August revealed 30.5%, 25.3%, and 28.2% malaria positives, respectively, consisting mainly of Plasmodium falciparum and P. vivax, and in a few cases, P. malariae. Analysis of malaria prevalence at different age groups clearly reflected the common phenomenon that younger individuals are more vulnerable by infection of either P. falciparum or P. vivax. In falciparum malaria, the frequency of cases carrying gametocytes was also relatively high involving all age groups. The findings indicate that the malaria incidence and transmission in the area are relatively high and that further exploration is warranted to establish a precise malaria control program

Nursery of groupers is often perfomed in concrete tanks and hatcheries, however it is also possible to be conducted at the sea in cages or in earthen ponds. This study aimed to evaluate growth and nutrition contents of coral trout under 3 different environments: sea cage, pond and tanks. Coral trout with the average size of 6.56±0.52 cm and weight of 4.48±1.04 gwere reared with the density of 50 fish/cage. The volume of the cage was 1x1x1 m with the mesh size of 4 mm. The treatments were reared of coral trout in sea cages (A), in ponds (B) and in tanks (C) with the duration of 90 days. Commercial pellet containing protein 48% was fed to the fish twice a day, morning and afternoon. The results showed that survival and growth of total length the fish nursed in those 3 different environments were not significantly different (p>0.05). However, growth of weight was significantly different among treatments with the highest growth from treatment C (23.12±2.9 g), then followed by treatment A (8.43±2.13 g) and B (12.58±2.58 g). Protein contents of fish among treatments were not significantly different. Calorie contents of fish, both treatment C and B were significantly higher than those of treatment A. To sum up, nursery of coral trout in controlled tanks was likely to increase weight 1,84 times than pond 2.74 times than sea cage
