THE CHARACTERISTICS OF ENGLISH ADVERTISEMENTS CREATED BY STUDENTS OF BUSINESS ENGLISH CLASS AT PGRI UNIVERSITY SEMARANG. LEMBAGA PENELITIAN DAN PENGABDIAN PADA MASYARAKAT, UNIVERSITAS PGRI SEMARANG
This study investigates the characteristics of English advertisements created by the
students of Business English Class at the University of PGRI Semarang. There were 25
students taken as the sample since they had been trained how to analyse and make
English advertisement. At the end of the training session, 60 pictures of educational,
tourism, and health products were distributed and the students were asked to create
their own advertisement under each picture. There were only 30advertisement texts
eligible for further analysis. The analysis was done to its lexical aspects, syntactical
features as well as its rhetorical devices. The results show that most of the students were
able to make their own advertisement texts but most of the words are verb and noun
(90%), simple sentence (93%), and only 2 out of 30 advertisement (6.6%) used
rhetorical devices. They need more time to practice writing informative and attractive
advertisement text. Thus, for the next class session, it is recommended that the lesson
materials in the Business English shouldbe divided into two mainstreams: Business
Writing and Business Advertisement and each mainstream should be taught for 7 class
sessions. By having such division, the students will have an ample time to do some
advertisement-text practices
Peran Tipe Kepribadian Neuroticism Terhadap Kecemasan Sosial Pada Wanita Dewasa Awal
Usia dewasa awal menjadi salah satu periode dalam menentukan hubungan dengan orang lain dalah hal ini adalah pernikahan, karir, dan kemandirian, jika tugas perkembangan tidak terpenuhi bisa menimbulkan kecemasan dan kualitas hidup yang kurang baik. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah adalah seperti tipe kepribadian neuroticism yang dapat berkontribusi pada risiko kecemasan sosial pada wanita dikehidupan pribadinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh neuroticism dan social anxiety pada wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 131 wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk skala social anxiety adalah The SIAS-SPS 6, sedangkan untuk skala neuroticism adalah Big Five Inventory 2. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki nilai R Square sebesar 0.178 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian neuroticism terhadap social anxiety pada Wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Besar pengaruh neuroticism terhadap social anxiety sebesar 17.8%, sisanya 82,2%Â dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (Air) terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa
This study aims to determine the completeness of mathematics learning outcomes of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri Selangit after applying the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning model. The research method, is a quantitative research with quasi-experimental research design (quasi experiment). The sample in this study was grade VIII.4 students consisting of 30 students. Data collection was carried out using test techniques. The test data collected was analyzed using t-test. The results of the study, based on t-test analysis with a significant level α = 0.05, obtained an average test score before the application of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning model was 22.15 and after the application of the Auditory learning model, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) obtained an average test score of 73.94 with tcount> ttable (2,821)> (1,699). Conclusion, student mathematics learning outcomes after VIII SMP Negeri Selangit after the application of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repitition (AIR) model are significantly completed.

ANALISIS PERSEPSI PENDIDIKAN DI DAERAH 3T
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pendidikan di daerah 3T. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di SD Santo Yosef Sioban Mentawai pada Agustus sampai November 2023. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni pendidik, orang tua peserta didik dan peserta didik kelas 5 SD Santo Yosef Sioban Mentawai. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini yakni persepsi pendidikan di daerah 3T. Keabsahan data diperiksa menggunakan triangulasi. Dalam menganalisis data menggunakan analisis secara kualitatif Miles & Huberman yakni mengumpulkan suatu data, reduksi suatu data, menyajikan suatu data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil atau kesimpulannya yakni persepsi pendidikan di daerah 3T memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap perkembangan peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan dari: 1) kreativitas pendidik dalam mengajar, 2) kerjasama orang tua peserta didik untuk perkembangan anak-anak mereka, dan3) minat peserta didik dalam belajar untuk menggapai cita-cita
PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN HASIL BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PJBL BERBANTUAN MEDIA LAPIN UNTUK SISWA KELAS VI SD
This study was motivated by the low ability of creative thinking and learning outcomes of students in grade VI of SD Kanisius Demangan Baru1.The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe efforts to improve creative thinking skills and learning outcomes using the PJBL model assisted by LAPIN media in class VI of Kanisisus Demangan Baru 1 Elementary School; (2) To improve creative thinking skills using the PJBL model assisted by LAPIN media in class VI of Kanisius Demangan Baru 1 Elementary School; (3) To improve learning outcomes using the PJBL model assisted by LAPIN media in class VI of Kanisius Demangan Baru 1 Elementary School.This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this study were VI grade students of SD Kanisius Demangan Baru 1 in the 2023/2024 academic year. The object of this research is the improvement of creative thinking skills and learning outcomes using the PJBL model assisted by LAPIN media. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative and qualitative analysis.The results showed that the PJBL model assisted by LAPIN media could improve creative thinking skills and learning outcomes, the average value of creative thinking skills from the initial condition of 55.11 with criteria (Less Creative), in cycle 1 increased to 67.70 with criteria (Quite creative), in cycle II increased to 80.01 with criteria (Creative). The average value of student learning outcomes from the initial condition value of 61.00, increased to 76.81 in cycle 1, and in cycle II increased to 86.81
PERAN PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT DENGAN ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT PADA KARYAWAN CV. X SURABAYA
Komitmen karyawan menjadi hal yang penting bagi perusahaan, dimana karyawan dapat menunjang dan membantu terbentuknya kemajuan organisasi. Kepedulian perusahaan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan karyawan menjadi tolak ukur terbentuknya komitmen karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara perceived organizational support dengan organizational commitment. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan CV. X Surabaya sejumlah 110 orang yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan accidental sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil pengujian menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara perceived organizational support dengan organizational commitment. Komitmen karyawan dapat muncul karena adanya keyakinan bahwa perusahaan menghargai kontribusi mereka dan perusahaan memperhatikan kesejahteraan para karyawannya. Oleh karena itu CV. X Surabaya diharapkan dapat terus mempertahankan dukungan dan kepeduliannya terhadap para karyawan
PENGARUH MEDIA TIGA DIMENSI PADA PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMAN 8 PONTIANAK
Abstract The study aimed to find out how the use of three-dimensional learning media on geography studies affects the study of X IPS SMAN 8 Pontianak. The method of research used is experiment with a quantitative research approach. The source of data for this study is an X IPS SMAN 8 Pontianak and the data will result from student’s study on the X IPS SMAN 8 Pontianak. Research shows the average result of learning from students who use two-dimensional learning media on geography at 67,69 and an average of studying students who use three-dimensional learning media by 87,39. Then it may be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average result of student’s learning media using three-dimensional learning media and the average of student’s learning media that uses two-dimensional learning media that is a proven by a value of 8,438 and a table with a margin of 1,698. Furthermore, the use of three-dimensional learning media on geography can affect student’s learning by an effect-effect of 0,78. Keywords: Geography Studies, Learning Result, Three-Dimensional Media
