    Novel multiple access for cooperative networks with nakagami-m fading: system model and performance analysis

    This study considers the performances of a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network over Nakagami-m fading channels. This scheme employs two hop transmission. We first examine the analytical outage probability expression for each user and then these results are verified by Monte Carlo simulations. Based upon the outage probability, the maximal throughput are obtained and analyzed under different parameters. Furthermore, the effects of Nakagami-m channel fading on the probability and throughput are investigated. The results indicate that the performance of the NOMA system is excellent as appropriate selection of simulated parameters. This analysis can be recommended for designing the NOMA systems in the future fifth-generation wireless communication

    Impacts of relay and direct links at destinations in full-duplex non-orthogonal multiple access system

    In this study, one of effective methods of multiple access, namely non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), is investigated. Such NOMA scheme can be worked with signal processing at downlink side. As such, the base station sends mixed signals of two signals to destinations. A near user could be a relay to forward the signal to the distant user by leveraging benefits of full-duplex mode which allows relay to transmit and receive signals in the same time. For simple analysis, the two-user approach and fixed power allocation factors are implemented. We also derive formulas of the outage probability of two users (near-user and far-user) to indicate fairness and emphasize the role of the near user as a relay. This considered NOMA system adopts transmission with Nakagami-m fading channel. As a further metric, throughput is considered under the impacts of key system parameters. The transmit signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the base station make influences the performance of two users significantly as observation indicated in our simulation results. These results are confirmed by matching Monte-Carlo with the theoretical simulations

    Website Innovation Affects Student Satisfaction

    University websites are more and more essential in communicating, exchanging information, providing educational services, and implementing marketing programs. Innovating the website is an important solution to improve the quality of educational services and attract students. This study was conducted to demonstrate the role of website innovation on student satisfaction. Research data were collected using quota sampling with 280 students studying at universities in Vietnam. Qualitative and quantitative research are used to test the research hypotheses. Applying structural equation modeling (SEM), the study shows that website innovation positively affects students’ perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust. Besides, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust positively influence student satisfaction. This study has demonstrated that website innovation affects student satisfaction through the mediating role of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust

    FATTY ACID COMPOSITION AND ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF CAMELLIA NINHII SEED OIL COLLECTED IN LAM DONG PROVINCE

    The seed oil of Camellia ninhii was studied for the first time on its fatty acid composition by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and antioxidant activity by the DPPH method. The results show that unsaturated fatty acids account for the largest amount, especially oleic acid with 45.43% of the total sample analyzed. In addition, other fatty acids, palmitic, linoleic, pentadecanoic, and two aromatic acids, benzoic and cinnamic, were present. The sample of C. ninhii seed oil exhibited mild antioxidant activity against DPPH free radicals with IC50 = 0.94 mg/mL

    ESTIMATING THE ECONOMIC VALUE OF THE ECOTOURISM DESTINATION: THE CASE OF TRA SU MELALEUCA FOREST NATURAL PARK IN VIET NAM

    In this article, the application of the Individual Travel Cost Method (ITCM) aims at providing a deeper insight into visitors’ preferences and their expenses on marketed and non-marketed services when travelling to the Tra Su Melaleuca Forest Natural Park, an ecotourism destination in An Giang Province of Viet Nam. The empirical findings from the survey of 237 visitors in 2022 showed that the frequency of trips to this recreational site was 1.3 per year on average and relied strongly on the travel costs. Additionally, the estimate of tourism revenues for 2022 of this site was 82,3 billion Viet Nam Dong (VND; equivalent to 3,5 million USD). Meanwhile, its economic value calculated by the ITCM application reaches 206,2 billion VND (or 8,8 million USD). It is obvious that a greater economic value over the monetary amount of revenue also raises several ideas of managerial implications dedicated to the recreational site. It includes building a marketing team for developing recreational services and digital marketing performance, expanding tour services like transportation, lodging, local guides. Finally, enabling local people to engage in dialogues, decision-making, and interest shares is also necessary for the sustainable development of ecotourism

    An Investigation into Secondary School Students’ Sino-Vietnamese Competence in Philology Learning Activities

    Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary is an important part of Vietnamese vocabulary. The ability to use Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary partially reflects one’s Vietnamese language competence; therefore, the ability to use Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary is an important element in the language ability of Vietnamese people in general, and secondary school students in particular. During in-class literature activities, secondary school students are equipped with Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary to a certain extent, but the effectiveness of using Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary in communication and in learning has yet to be fully evaluated. This article focuses on evaluating the ability to use Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary of secondary school students in Hanoi by using questionnaires and tests to obtain both subjective and objective data from the learner’s perspective. The survey results will be used as a practical premise to propose new teaching methods to develop Sino-Vietnamese language competence of secondary school students in Literature, in accordance with the 2018 General Education Curriculum

    Exploiting NOMA in D2D Assisted Full-duplex Cooperative Relaying

    In a wireless system, dual-hop transmission requires Full-Duplex (FD) to transmit signals from the base station too far users. It is more beneficial if we deploy non-orthogonal multiple access to serve specific users, i.e. normal users (near and far users) and device-to-device users. The fairness and outage performance of these users can be studied. We particularly focus on mathematical analysis of outage performance which is computed based on Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of received signals at each kind of user. We derive a closed-form formula of such outage probability along with throughput. To realize both the FD NOMA, this paper performs system performance metrics and considers how self-interference make influences system performance. The simulation results validate the theoretical analysis and show that our scheme can obtain a better outage probability and throughput performance with high transmit SNR at the base station and lower required target rates

    Explaining the Organizational Commitment of Banking Employees

    This study aims to demonstrate the factors influencing the organizational commitment of banking employees. The study surveyed 232 employees working in the commercial banking system in Vietnam. By combining qualitative and quantitative research methods, the study has shown that employees’ commitment to the organization is influenced by 8 factors, including the work environment, corporate culture, organizational support, job nature, training and development, income and benefits, peer relationships, and leadership style. Among these factors, leadership style is the most significant factor affecting employees’ commitment to the organization. The research results contribute to providing insights for managers to enhance the employees’ commitment to the organization in the banking sector

    Organizational Commitment of Tour Guides

    The commitment of employees to the organization receives special attention from managers. This is because when employees are closely attached to the organization, the efficiency of work is improved, enhancing the organization’s innovation and creativity, and aiming for sustainable development. This study was conducted to demonstrate the factors influencing the commitment to the organization of tour guides. Research data was collected from a survey of 305 tour guides working in travel companies in Vietnam. Using quantitative research methods, the study has shown that the organizational commitment of tour guides is influenced by 8 factors, including job nature, work environment, training and promotion, income and benefits, leadership style, relationships with colleagues, rewards and recognition, and empowerment. Among them, empowerment is identified as the most significant factor, with the strongest influence on the organizational commitment of tour guides. Finally, the study has proposed some managerial implications to enhance the commitment to the organization of tour guides

    THE INFLUENCE OF CORE - SHELL RATIO ON CHARACTERISTICS OF MICROCAPSULES CONTAINING CINNAMON ESSENTIAL OIL APPLIED TO AROMATHERAPEUTIC TEXTILES

    Microencapsulation is one of the techniques to prepare the functional textiles. In this paper the essential cinnamon oil loaded microcapsules were prepared by solvent evaporation method. In the microencapsulation process, the core - shell ratio was changed by altering the cinnamon oil content in four levels of 0.15, 0.25, 0.35 and 0.45 g while the other components remained unchanged. The microcapsule characteristics including shape and morphology, size and size distribution, microencapsulation efficiency in dependence on the core-shell ratio were investigated. The antimicrobial capacity and the fragrance durability of interlock knitted fabric coated with the elaborated microcapsules were evaluated. The results showed that cinnamon oil was microencapsulated successfully in the spherical microcapsules. When the cinnamon oil content increased, the microcapsule size decreased and the size distribution became broader, the microcapsules were more porous and more aggregate, the fragrance intensity of the fabric treated with microcapsules increased while the activity against E. coli bacteria decreased. According to the results, the microcapsules elaborated with 0.15 g of cinnamon oil was recommended for the treatment of interlock cotton knitted fabric to apply in aroma and antimicrobial textiles
