Firm value: Analysis of capital structure, capital intensity, and cash holding in transportation and logistics listed companies
This study aims to provide empirical evidence by analyzing the influence of capital structure, capital intensity, and cash holding on firm value in transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020 2024 period. The variables examined in this study include capital structure, capital intensity, cash holding, and firm value. Data were collected through documentation and literature studies. The study population consisted of 60 transportation and logistics companies that were previously or are currently listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 17 transportation and logistics companies with 85 observations over five years. Panel data regression analysis was employed with the assistance of STATA 17 software. The results indicate that, partially, capital structure has a significant negative effect on firm value, capital intensity has no significant effect on firm value, and cash holding has a significant positive effect on firm value
Determination Of Banking Profitability In Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the determinants that affect banking profitability in Indonesia, as low profitability will reduce banks' ability and willingness to finance the broader economy and difficulties in facing the challenges of an unstable global economy. The population of this study is Conventional Commercial Banks in Indonesia from 2014 to 2023. The sampling technique uses the purposive sampling technique so that 51 research data are obtained. The research analysis used panel data regression and its significance level was 5%. The results of a study of 51 Conventional Commercial Banks in the period 2014-2023 show that the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio has a negative impact on banking profitability (ROA), the liquidity ratio (LDR) has a negative impact on banking profitability (ROA), the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) has a negative impact on banking profitability (ROA), and the operating expense ratio (BOPO) has a positive impact on corporate profitability (ROA)
Pengaruh Tingkat Kesehatan Dan Fundamental Makroekonomi Terhadap Kinerja Saham Pada Perbankan Go Public Di Indonesia - Malaysia
Background – NPL, NIM, ROA and CAR ratios of banks in Indonesia and Malaysia show significant differences from 2016 to 2020. NPL in Indonesia is in the healthy category, ranging between 2-3%. In contrast, NPL in Malaysia is lower than Indonesia, below 2% from 2016 to 2020 and is categorized as very healthy. Apart from financial ratio factors, macroeconomic fundamentals in Indonesia and Malaysia also showdifferences. Indonesia's inflation rate in 2022 will be 5.51%, higher than Malaysia's 3.38%. Financial ratios and macroeconomic factors are closely related to financial performance, including stock returns, dividend payments and earnings per share.
Aim – This purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the level of banking health and macroeconomic fundamentals on stock performance as proxied by Earning Per Share (EPS) in banks going public in Indonesia and Malaysia
Design/ methodology/ approach – This research uses a quantitative approach and data processing using Eviews. Data was obtained using a purposive sampling technique using 33 Indonesian go public banks and 6 Malaysian go public banks. The data analysis technique uses panel data regression analysis.
Findings – The research results show that NPL and Interest Rate (IR) have a negative and significant effect on Earning Per Share (EPS) of Go Public Banks in Indonesia. ROA and GDP have a positive and significant effect on EPS. Meanwhile, NIM and CAR have a negative and insignificant effect on EPS and inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on EPS. Meanwhile, the results of research on go public banks in Malaysia show that NPL variable has a positive and significant influence on EPS. CAR has a negative and significant effect on EPS. ROA has a positive and insignificant effect on EPS. Other variables such as NIM, GDP, Inflation and Interest rate have a negative and insignificant effect on the Earning Per Share (EPS) of go public banks in Malaysia.
Conclusion – NPL, NIM, ROA, CAR, GDP, Inflation and Interest Rates influence Stock Performance as proxied by Earning Per Share (EPS) in public banking in Indonesia and Malaysia
Research implication – Bank health information and fundamental macroeconomic factors can be considered important signals for investors. This knowledge can help investors make smart investment decisions, which in turn are expected to improve the company's financial performance
Limitations – The limitations of this research only include variables NIM, NPL, ROA, CAR, GDP, Inflation & Interest Rate and only cover the countries of Indonesia and Malaysia
The Effect of Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership on Company Value in Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
This study aims to examine the influence of managerial ownership and institutional ownership on company value as an intervening variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used is secondary data obtained from the annual reports of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2022 period. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study show that managerial ownership has a significant positive effect on the company's value. Likewise, institutional ownership has a significant positive effect on the value of the company. As an intervening variable, it has also been proven to affect the relationship between managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and company value. The Adjusted R Square in this study is 0.309, which means that 30.9% of the variation in the value of the company can be explained by the variables of managerial ownership and institutional ownership, while the remaining 69.1% is explained by other factors that were not studied in this study
The Analysis of Liquidity and Its Effect on Profitability, Sales and Working Capital Policy in Manufacturing Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange
This study aims to analyze the liquidity through cash conversion cycle management and to examine the effect of liquidity on profitability, sales and working capital policy in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2018. Profitability is proxied by return on asset, sales (Total Sales) and working capital policy (Short-term debt to assets and current assets to total assets). The population of the study is manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Purposive sampling method used as the sampling method. There are 21 manufacturing companies as the samples of the study. The type of data used in this study is quantitative and data sources of this study is secondary data. Descriptive statistic and simple linear regression analysis used as the research methodology. The result of descriptive analysis shows CCC benchmark of manufacturing companies is 95.0590 days with the highest value at 408.98 days and the lowest at -19.62 days. It is found that CCC has negative and significant effect on return on asset and total sales as well it has positive effect and significant on short-term debt to assets nevertheless CCC has positive but insignificant effect on current assets to total assets
Pelatihan Pengelolaan Website Pemerintah Desa Kotadaro II, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir
Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan bagaimana mengelola teknologi dan informasi mengenai situs website desa guna menggali potensi yang ada di desa agar bisa memetakan persoalan desa sehingga dapat dimasukkan dalam pengenalan dan laporan kegiatan pembangunan desa kepada aparat desa beserta masyarakat desa Kotadaro II Kecamatan Rantau Panjang Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Provinsi Sumatera Selatan perlu diberikan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman aparat desa dan masyarakat dalam mengelola dan memperbaharui informasi data desa dengan melibatkan lembaga-lembaga yang ada di desa sehingga partisipasi masyarakat dalam manajemen pengelolaan website menjadi meningkat. Melalui peran serta aktif masyarakat desa maupun lembaga yang ada di desa maka diharapkan hasil pelatihan pengelolaan website akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan tujuan pembangunan perdesaaan itu sendir
The Effect of Training and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at Bank Indonesia Representative Office of South Sumatra Province
This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance at the Bank Indonesia Representative Office, South Sumatra Province. The population and sample in this research are 50 Non-Officer employees and Assistant Directors of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for South Sumatra Province in 2023. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that training and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Training, it is hoped that it is necessary to select the type of training given to employees according to the employee's needs. Choosing a training provider is also important, where the chosen organizer must also be suitable and knowledgeable in this field and have experience and a good image. Work motivation, the role of superiors which is very necessary in looking at relationships between fellow employees. Where if within a division there are colleagues who do not have a harmonious relationship, then the role of superiors is to create a more neutral and professional atmosphere in carrying out work
Analisa Pembiayaan Fintech Terhadap Kinerja Umkm Pada Umkm di Kota Palembang
ABSTRACT: This study aims to understand and analyze the influence of fintech financing on the performance of MSME’s in Palembang City. The population in this study is all MSME’s in the city of Palembang which amounts to 163,291 units. Sampling in research using nonprobability sampling techniques with purposive sampling and snowball sampling approaches. The study used a sample of 50 respondents. The analytical technique in this study is descriptive analysis using simple regression. The results of this study are that fintech financing has a significant effect on the performance of MSME’s in a positive direction. This means that the use of fintech as a source of support for micro, small and medium enterprises will improve their business performance.Keyword: fintech financing, MSME’s performance, financeABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan menganalisis pengaruh pembiayaan fintech terhadap kinerja UMKM di Kota Palembang. Perkembangan dunia bisnis sejalan dengan pertumbuhan teknologi yang makin pesat. Ada hubungan yang saling terkait antara pemanfaatan teknologi dengan bisnis. Begitupun dalam ranah multimedia, banyak hal yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memajukan bisnis terutama dalam masa pandemi Covid-19. Berdasarkan data yang dikeluarkan LIPI terdapat sekitar 94,69% UMKM mengalami dampak negatif pandemi. Dynamic Model of Firm Value: Evidence from Indonesian Manufacturing Companies
This study aims to determine the factors that affect to firm value. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange which includes financial statements. This research sample uses 45 manufacturing companies, the period 2012-2016. The analysis used is a quantitative approach with panel data regression model, with estimation of fixed effect model. The findings of this study indicate that simultaneously the value of firms is influenced by investment decisions, financial decisions, and financial performance. While partially, financing decision has dominant influence from other variables, namely investment decision dan corporate performance. The conclusions of this study indicate that investment decisions and firm performance have a positive relationship to firm value, while financing decisions have a negative effect on firm value. In addition, the lag of firm value shows the long-term impact on the firm's value model
