Karakter Pemilih Pemula di Kabupaten Tuban: Adaptasi Budaya Politik Sekolah

Starting from curiosity about how the political culture of the school in shaping the character of novice voters in Tuban Regency. So this research was conducted using comparative qualitative methods to explore primary data on research subjects spread across senior high schools (SMA) in Tuban Regency such as Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Citizenship Education Teachers, Coaches and OSIS Students (Intra-School Student Organizations), including the General Election Commission of Tuban Regency as secondary data in this study. The results showed that the political culture of schools in shaping the character of novice voters in Tuban Regency with an understanding and emphasis on students about politics in Indonesia through classroom teaching, then the implementation of democracy in Indonesia in the OSIS election, as well as school innovation in carrying out the student council selection process that is packaged online. Furthermore, the adaptation of political culture that is applied forms the character of students as novice voters. The character of students as novice voters is behavior that is active in practical politics, starting from following, criticizing and participating. This active behavior can be seen from the implementation of the smallest political practice in schools, namely the Student Council Election

PENGUATAN PENGEMBANGAN SOSIAL EKONOMI (PSE) SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGENTASAN KEMISKINAN

This qualitative case study aims to assess the contribution of the PSE Commission in alleviating poverty and to analyze PSE institutional strengthening in the success of poverty alleviation priority programs. Institutional strengthening is the key to the sustainability and success of poverty alleviation programs. However, there are studies that show that institutional strengthening through legal aspects, Provincial Drinking Wages and public policies have been effective enough to alleviate poverty. Of the many findings that exist, researchers discovered new things, namely through institutional strengthening in aspects; Structure, HR, Finance, Organizational Funding and Assets, Monitoring and Evaluation, Legality, Data and Information and Collaborative Networks can determine the success of the institution in alleviating poverty and the sustainability of poverty alleviation priority programs. The pattern of the empowerment approach carried out by the government is seen as less touching on the problems of the poor because it is project oriented, while the one carried out by the Catholic Church is oriented towards religious values

Penguatan Pengembangan Sosial Ekonomi (Pse) Sebagai Upaya Pengentasan Kemiskinan Pada Umat Gereja Paroki St. Petrus Tukuneno. (Studi Kasus PSE di Gereja Paroki St. Petrus Tukuneno-Keuskupan Atambua )

Studi kasus kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses PSE; mengkaji kontribusi KPSE dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan; mengetahui hambatan yang dihadapi SSP Tukuneno dalam melaksanakan program PSE; untuk menganalisis penguatan KPSE dalam menyukseskan program dan strategi KPSE dalam mempertahankan keberlanjutan program pengentasan kemiskinan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa proses PSE dilakukan melalui pengajuan proposal sehingga mendapatkan persetujuan KPSE yang disahkan Uskup Atambua. Ada 6 program strategis dan 7 kegiatan pemberdayaan yang diselenggarakan KPSE dan SSP Tukuneno yang telah sedikit menekan angka kemiskinan. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya ditemukan berbagai tantangan yang menghambat pelaksanaan program PSE seperti situasi lingkungan sosial, strukutur politik, budaya dan adat istiadat, akses-akses publik, mental dan kepribadian umat. Dengan adanya penguatan kelembagaan dan evaluasi yang terus menerus baik secara internal dan eksternal kelembagaan telah meningkatkan kepercayaan publik sehingga kesuksesan program pengentasan kemiskinan dan keberlanjutannya melalui kerjasama dengan Pemerintah pusat, daerah dan LSM dapat membawa umat keluar dari masalah kemiskinan. Pendekatan pengentasan kemiskinan yang dilakukan Gereja Katolik Keuskupan Atambua melalui KPSE lebih berorientasi pada nilai-nilai agama dan dinilai efektif dalam menekan angka kemiskinan
